Everyone was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful throughout.  <br /> We went over our initial budget, partly because some electrical problems from an earlier renovation arose that needed repairing, and partly because we added a number of bells and whistles after the initial estimate. But for example, the custom maple cabinetry cost far less than we were quoted elsewhere and included a lot of special touches, such as an appliance garage, a cutlery drawer, and a pull-out, multi-shelf spice drawer.  <br /> At each step in the process, Kevin kept us apprised of costs and got our approval before any work was done. And for all the extras we requested during construction, we had a brand-new kitchen just a couple of days after the original estimated completion date. We couldn?t be happier with the results. Every remodeling job has its glitches and challenges, and ours was no exception, but Kevin went the extra mile to make sure were getting our dream kitchen. And in the end, that?s exactly what we got. Our new kitchen is a joy to cook in ? and we have Kevin and his team to thank for that. <br /> <br />

All I can think to say is WOW !!!  On time and On budget (well, his anyway. Mine.............. not so much)  I bought a foreclosure condo that was about 30 years old and contacted Kevin after finding him on Angie's List. (Best subscription money I ever spent was on Angie's List).  Kevin showed up promptly at the agreed upon time and I had his completed estimate in a few days. Kevin and his crew did the following after demo: replaced all interior doors with solid core prehung doors, installed four new windows into a curved Dining Room wall, installed custom made cabinets in the Garage, Desk in the Family Room, Niche in the Kitchen area, vanity in the Guest Bath, double vanity in the Master Bath and Linen Closet in the hallway, installed Granite on all of those cabinets in addition to the complete Fireplace hearth and face. They also installed a bunch of recessed light fixtures (and I mean, a bunch), replaced all of the receptacles and trim plates, installed four ceiling fans, built 2 beautiful roll in showers that pictures just don't do justice to, replaced all door hardware and locks, installed new nickel mirrored wardrobe doors in Guest room, installed 3 glass vessel sinks and faucets in the bathrooms, installed two new vent fans in the baths, installed new door casings and baseboards throughout, enclosed my water heater, installed new kitchen faucet, dishwasher, stove, etc. You get the idea. About all I didn't have to replace were the kitchen cabinets and granite that was on top of them. <br /> As this was my first remodel attempt, it didn't become apparent to me until the new cabinets were being installed, that the existing tile flooring really looked like well, a mess.  If any of you have gays in your life, you already know that we are prone to make changes and take different paths regularly (haha, but it's true), so it was at this point I decided to replace all the flooring with a beautiful travertine tile. While this major change added 2 weeks to the schedule (bringing us to a total of 7 weeks) and a huge hit to my budget, Kevin and his crew were excellent about taking my changes and adds all in stride. It just didn't make sense to remodel 90 percent of my unit and not do the floors while we were at it. All I will say about the flooring is this, his installer Cory is an artist. He mudset the entire floor on a foundation that was anything but flat. Cory also did the new backsplash in the kitchen and all the tile in the showers. Truly amazing. <br /> In the final analysis, Kevin and his guys did an amazing job turning a pig of an old condo into a silk purse that is surely one of the nicest units in our development. They showed up every day sometimes to include weekends when necessary. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do a remodel. Kevin will be doing my next project if I get the bug to do this again. <br />

Fantastic! They offered great value, finished on time, did more than they said they would, and the final product was excellent! <br /> We were on a tight budget this first time around but we will definitely be hiring Kevin and his crew back for future work when we can afford more but the work they did transformed our house 100% and made it completely rental ready. EXCELLENT QUALITY! <br /> - The tiles on our floor are perfectly aligned <br /> - The new stucco finish and paint around the house exterior and interior doors matches exactly the old stucco and paint <br /> - The paint job had no mistakes in it <br /> - The products they installed look and work fabulously! <br /> 5. All around very likeable people to have in your house, for what that's worth <br /> - Every person working for Kevin is just like him: mature, smart, good humored, and kind: important if they are practically 'living in your house' if you are there for the renovation <br /> - They joked we would get sick of them after 3 weeks but we actually miss them as people! <br /> It is a bit nerve racking having your house renovated, especially when you are on a tight time schedule and budget, and especially if you are living there while the work is going on and you see your walls being blown out! (bless you Kevin for putting up with my anxiety!). But Kevin and his team rose to the occasion, and none of my fears came to be. We trusted them and they delivered. <br /> We are just so pleased it didn't end up costing us more, that we didn't run out of time, and that the workmanship is top notch. Our house actually looks brand new after they finished with it. We got a huge bang for our buck. <br />

From the time I contacted Kevin to the time the job was completed, SGB was fantastic.  I needed a very small master bathroom in an old house gutted and built from the ground up.  As this is a rental, my budget was very limited.  Kevin told me what he could do and what I would provide so he could meet the price I requested.  Kevin, along with his team worked miracles.  There were some plumbing issues that came up and Kevin handled all of them by communicating with me and giving me honest and accurate estimates of how much time this would put us back.  Not living in the house while the work was being performed was a new thing for me and I was nervous about workers being in the home when I was not.  My fears were unfounded.  Kevin and his team only used the french door leading to the bedroom and taped the bedroom door closed so dust and people couldn't use the rest of the house.  The work site was kept spotless. <br /> The master bath turned out more beautifully than I could have imagined.  Amazing results with the budget I gave him.   As with any project, things go wrong ~ and they did in this case also. The door was put on "backwards", swinging the opposite way we had talked about.  I called Kevin and he was out there within a couple days to completely redo it.  It was a whole day job and he and his team completed it beautifully and timely, even though I know it affected his schedule.  I plan to use SGB for renovations to my new home.  Thank you Kevin and Angelo and team. <br />

Kevin, the owner of SGB, responded immediately to our request for a bid through Angie's List.  His quote was reasonable, given that we had already been quoted more by two "friends of friends" to do the same work.  We were concerned about the time crunch we were under, as by the time we accepted the bid, we had only two weeks before the arrival of guests from out-of-the-counry. Kevin and his team(s) responded quickly to our needs.  They arrived each day on time and completed the various stages of the project as had been promised.  When we asked for the additional work to be done in the bathroom, Kevin gave us a very reasonable additional quote and worked with us to finish that work before our guests arrived. In addition to being punctual,everyone was professional and the work was completed on time.  The quality of the work is excellent.  We had many visitors in and out of the house over the holidays, and all commented positively on the work that was done and the qualiity of the finishing touches.  We will definitely contact Kevin if we have additional work to be done in the future. <br />

Contacted Kevin for a bid on the project I had in mind.  This was replacing all my screens on our enclosed porch with permanent windows & regular doors to replace the 2 screen doors.  Set up a date & time for him to come & look at the project.  He came on time.  We discussed what I wanted done.  He gave suggestions.  Kevin instilled confidence in me with his knowledge & demeanor.  He submitted a formal proposal to me when he said he would.  We made the agreement.  <br /> Paid him the money for the supplies.  We set a date for him to start.  The supplies did not come when he expected so it was delayed a couple days.  The windows were special order. The delay was no problem with our schedule.  He brought the supplies & started when we agreed.  One window was delayed to no fault of his. The delayed window came in & all was good & done.  But during the project  a crack in the structure had occurred.  When I pointed it out to Kevin, he said he would fix it.  Did not realize it had not been there before.  Removing the part that needed repair, showed problems with the bottom structure.  We negotiated to have it fixed.  This new work had to be fit into his already booked schedule.  I was very glad this crack had shown because now I have a very new & solid structure. <br /> The finished project is beautiful & I am enjoying it.  Kevin & his crew were all very friendly & professional.  Any questions I had he fixed.  He upgraded the windows from the original ones.  They did extras - put the hardware on our new doors, washed my new windows.  <br /> Any new projects, I would have no hesitation to contact Kevin to do the project. <br /> <br /> <br />

I am a professional speaker and I am considered one of the leading experts on "Customer Service" in the US.  Kevin provided some of the best customer service I have ever received. His work was meticulous. His venders were all excellent. This job took 2 weeks and every day he left my garage impeccably clean. He would even clean the driveway and the street before he left. He communicated with me regularly. He was flexible on a few adjustments we had to make. I would recommend him highly to anyone. <br />

Although there were a couple of delays, they were both beyond Kevin's control. He was unhappy that he missed the final deadline he had given us and worked hard to complete the project as soon as possible. <br />

Very good. Everyone who has  visited the house since the work was done has remade on how nice a house I bought, all move in ready. To see how the house looked when I bought it and how it looks now, you should visit SGB's web site. The pictures are there. Kevin Morrison is the main person you will be dealing with. He returns calls promptly and also responds to emails fast, His company did not do all the work but he found good subcontractors to complete the work that his own staff does not do. The quality of the work is very good and the schedule/cost changed mainly because I changed the quantity and type of work that was done as the project progressed. The scope and cost is tracked using work orders and change orders which I am used to doing in my own line of work as a civil engineer. You have to be ready to make your decisions as and when they need to be made and make selections at stores promptly so that you do not hold up the progress of the work. I went to Arizona Tile to buy the tile and granite because I found them to be the best in terms of price and schedule.

Kevin of SGB Remodeling and Landscape Construction was very friendly. He was on time everyday, I did not have to call him up and ask where he was. His crew was always friendly. His price was really good.

Everything was more than I could ask for. The fence was perfectly straight, even and looks great. It was painted with 4 coats of paint, the posts are in concrete, and it is immovable ( I have a 100lb dog that likes to get out). The door frame looks amazing, as do the new doors. They were stained to match the existing wood in the house and match perfectly. They were always on time and finished ahead of schedule. Would definitely hire them again.

I had several contractors I scheduled out for my house . SGB was the only one that showed up on time and was the most professional. After reviewing all the estimates they werent the cheapest but in the end there quality and workmanship was better than I ever imagined ! They finished well before the schedule they gave me .Iam very satisfied and would use them again !

Kevin from SGB came out when he scheduled a time with us and was on time. He listned to all of our concerns and took notes the whole time we walked him through our house. Within a few days we had our quote , After a week of dealing with the other contractors we made our decision to go with SGB . They scheduled us in within a week and were completed on the day they said they would. From the repairs of the concrete to the new concrete they repaired the quality and workmanship was the best.The tile work in the bath rooms was wonderful ! All the drywall patches and paint repairs matched perfectly .Our entire house looks beautiful we are so happy and have referred SGB to our relatives.

All I can say is WOW!!!! They did such an amazing job, I just LOVE my new Kitchen. I interviewed and received several quotes from contractors but I Chose SGB because the quote was good, and Kevin could really see my vision. The crew arrived when promised and completed my project just under schedule. The crew was friendly and professional and they made sure to clean up after themselves. I m so happy that Kevin had patience with me, I must have changed my mind a dozen times. :) but in the end I got the kitchen I dreamed of.

The project went almost flawlessly from beginnig to end ! There were alot of change orders and changes to the project but it was handled professionally and promptly. The patience that was taken by SGB shows throughout the projects quality.

He did a great job; he was a real life saver, and I don’t think anybody could have done a better job than he did.  I would have no problems telling anybody about him.  I had a driveway put in and the guy sanded it the wrong way and it came back to the house and I was worried it was going to ruin my foundation; so he came in and he took a machine and he measured it all out and he knew just how much he had to dig out.  He made sure that when he tore it all out and fixed it, that it did not come back to the house at all.  He was really professional and courteous.  He did the job like he said he was going to do it.  He was here every day until it was done.  The people he had working for him were very nice too.  I did not have a problem with him at all.

They were very nice guys. They did their job very quickly and did a very great job. They were very friendly. They were very sufficient and very excellent.

Excellent all the way through. We are more than happy.

The crew arrived at 10:00 AM as promised. They scoped the area to determine the proper method for removal and without affecting the neighbors on any side. Once they were comfortable with the way to precede, they took down the old lanais and cleared away the debris. They fully cleaned and swept the area before completing the job. The estimate was what they charged and they were finished in only a couple of hours. I was quite pleased.
