Shady Lady and Bob Thone have keep our property looking like a lush estate, since we had them take over for three failed attempts by other "Blow & Go" maintenance contractors. I would highly recomend their services, if you want the same spectacular results.

Very well. The owner met with us and showed us his plan for updating old and providing new landscaping plants.. It was very detailed and implementation went as planned. The firm now maintains the landscaping (which looks so much more healthy than before) and the lawn monthly. We are extremely satisfied with the service we get, and we like the proactive approach the firm uses to ward off insects and other problems which can plague the island. The owner reports to us monthly with a photographic report and alerts us timely to any issue we need to address (re: insects, etc.).

Shady Lady is fab. No muss, no fuss. They come regularly, do great maintenance and upkeep. Billing is simple. I especially like the pictures they send of job performed. I never give a second thought. No supervision nor direction is needed. Highest recommendation.

Bob, the owner, showed up when promised and designed a salt tolerant landscape for our Island home. He removed our tired old landscape and transformed in into a tropical oasis! All within budget. Shady Lady continues to maintain our yard, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

We were thrilled with the work Shady Lady did. The whole experience could not have gone better. The background story is that our yard had recently been re-landscaped by our prior landscaper after the yard had to be completely torn out and sadly very little of what we had asked for ahead of time was done. We parted ways with that landscaper and consulted Shady Lady for a meeting. We set up an initial appointment at our home and we were immediately impressed by the owner Bob. He was on time, professional and was an excellent listener as to what we liked and didn't like about our yard, and also to what we were interested in having done. Ours is also a rental home and Bob has an excellent understanding about what we and our guests love to see in a landscape, and guided us towards some beautiful and low maintenance plants. We were going for the tropical look, but were limited in some ways in the types of plants we could use because much of the yard is over a septic field. He had a great variety of ideas for that area which was challenging because of restrictions on sizes of plants and root systems they can have, but also had great ideas for the edge of the yard near the road, along the walkways, and how achieve a polished and finished look. He is knowledgeable about plants, soil, fertilizing, local ordinances etc. He recommended changes to our irritation system so that the sprinklers are nearly invisible as opposed to the prior one in which sprinklers were poking up throughout the yard, some as tall as 8-10 inches. He also offered to do some low voltage lighting for the yard. He answered all our questions, and got an estimate to us that included photos of plants he was recommending along with a sketch of the property and proposal and with specifically detailed line items. We decided to do everything he had proposed and are thrilled with the result. His crew arrived just after 7 am the day they had planned to start and were incredibly hardworking and efficient. My husband and I were surprised at how quickly they got things done. Even in a few hours things were remarkably transformed. The variety and beauty of the plants is amazing, we love the tropical look as well as the polished groomed look, and love the lighting. The lighting is like magic and has added so much to our enjoyment of the landscape! Because we were so happy with the front yard we just met last week with Bob to ask him to develop a proposal to redo the backyard including the area around our pool. We are also having him take care of yard maintenance. Whenever I have contacted Bob with questions or concerns he has gotten back to me quickly (I can reach him by email or if urgent by text) and it's a relief to be working with someone so reliable who is responsive and professional.

Everything from start to finish was carried out exactly as specified and agreed. All work was completed with care and to deadline and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Bob and his crew at Shady Lady NEVER disappoint. His renovation work is creative and precise, while still retaining existing plantings that are worthwhile. His weekly maintenance includes a photo report of work done. Love that when you are an out of town homeowner! Would highly recommend.

Everything goes well with Joan, and if for some reason things don't work out just the way we would have wanted, she's always quick to make revisions. She's very easy going, but extremely knowledgeable. She's creative without being too funky, and does her work in a very friendly and professional manner.  We are so lucky we found her. <br />
