They did a fantastic job! Our house is old and has stucco walls and they add able to match the depth of the stucco perfectly and painted to match. Professional with excellent communication.

We contacted Sam Sharpe with Sharpe Construction LLC to devise a solution to correct a ½ inch slope in the floor of a cantilevered area of our home. We relied on Sam’s expertise to develop a solution and provide a cost estimate for the project to be completed. Sam provided a proposal that included jacking up the cantilevered region from the outside and then reframing this section from below the flooring by accessing it through the unfinished ceiling in the basement. We agreed to this proposal and sent Sam a check for $935.00 to schedule the work. On the day the work was scheduled to be completed, Sam’s crew quickly determined that the solution Sam originally proposed was not going to work because it would not fix or even improve the current sloping issue. After his crew collaborated on site, they provided an alternate solution. The new solution would entail removing the flooring and subflooring in the cantilevered area of the kitchen, properly shimming the floor joists, and replacing the subfloor and laminate flooring. It was then discovered that the laminate flooring was glued and removing it would force us to replace all of the laminate flooring on the main level of our home since we have an open floor plan and new flooring would not match the existing flooring due to fading. We did not approve of the alternate solution his crew presented due to the significant expense it would entail. Since none of the work was completed because the original proposal was inappropriate, we are requesting that Sam refund the $935 we paid him. To date, Sam has ignored multiple requests for a refund.

We love our new addition. Sam listened to our vision and helped us achieve it within our budget. All the people who worked on the project were knowledgeable, proficient, and personable. We highly recommend him.

All went very well! Loved working with Sam and his crew. He always responded to my questions very quickly. Any issues were quickly resolved. Love how the house looks now! Total time was 2 months from initial demolition of bathroom to kitchen finish. Seems reasonable based on extent of what we had done. Any delays were due to tradesmen not being available but Sam kept us in the loop on that. Would hire again!!

Overall we were satisfied with the quality of the job but we did run into some issues. Sam said it would take 2 days to complete but it ended up taking 6 full days. Unfortunately I had to use a lot more vacation to be home for this than I anticipated. We ran into some issues with the sub-contractors. One guy got nothing done the day he was there and then never showed up the next day. To Sam's credit, he called in another framer and the work was started as soon as possible. The quality was decent but we ended up having to fix some spots ourselves and add some extra framing to make the areas aesthetically pleasing. The crew members were all polite and cleaned up after themselves, which I always appreciate. Sam is very easy to work with and very professional. He takes his business seriously and has high expectations of his crew. Despite the issues we encountered we were still happy with the work and the price.

Excellent craftsmanship, very responsive to our input, and great communication. Very willing to accommodate changes along the way. We uncovered a number of "old house surprises" in both projects and were offered multiple solutions at a range of prices for each, so we never felt forced into additional or unexpected charges.

Exceptional. Sam set up a very clear budget that outlined exactly what he and his team were going to do and outside of a few surprises (which happen on a project of this size) he kept to exactly what was promised. The crew was very responsive, met deadlines and commitments. It truly showed in the final product. I will be using Sharpe Construction again in the future.

So far so good! Sam is very responsive, and it's going a little more slowly than I expected, but we are getting a lot done!

We are so glad we worked with Sharpe construction for our basement project! Sam worked with us up front on the plan and price to finish our basement. He and his team communicated with us throughout the process on changes and progress. We always felt comfortable having Sam and his team in our home, very considerate and professional. And the workmanship is outstanding. Quality work, great communication and reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed.

Everything went smoothly and work was completed in a day and a half. I have used Sharpe Construction in the past and have always been pleased with the quality in the work they do.

Sam did a great job on the basement, it looks fantastic. He has good attention to detail and is very responsive via text message. Sam came up with a plan that we approved but then once the demolition was complete, we had to change the plan to replace the sewer pipes. There were also low-hanging steel beams and lots of vents that made the basement remodel a challenge.  <br /> Sam used subcontractors for some of the work but he would come and inspect periodically to see how they were doing. The City inspectors were also a challenge to work with and Sam had to stay on them to get them to come and actually do the inspections, but it finally all got done in the end.  <br /> While the project was expensive, (especially with the unforeseen plumbing issues) I think we got a great value for our money. Sam is a nice guy and is easy to work with as new things are discovered and have to be accommodated during a remodeling project. <br />

We have been very impressed with the provider.  He is an excellent communicator and has kept us updated on when the work would be done.  Once scheduled, the work in our laundry room was completed very quickly.  We were not 100% sure on what exactly would look best for our room and the provider was very patient and diligent when helping us determine dimensions for the counter top and the walls.  The provider did a great job matching the paint to the rest of the laundry room and ensuring that the overall "look" was consistent with the cabinetry we had installed ourselves. <br /> <br /> It took 90 minutes to do the electrical work and about 4 hours to complete the counter top.  The provider worked very cleanly and was respectful to our home. <br /> <br /> We have been very pleased with this provider and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.

The results speak for themselves, the finished product is amazing. We did have some delays due to weather and material chances but Sam kept us well informed and was always in communication. We will definitely be using Sharpe Construction again in the future!

Once we got started everything went pretty smooth. I would use Sam again in the future.

Sam and his crew did a great job- they were punctual, stuck to budget and the end result is a gorgeous pergola.  This is the third time we have used Sam and his crew, and we are consistently impressed with both his craftsmanship and his attention to detail. I especially appreciate how tidy Sam and his crew are both during the construction process and when leaving the work site.  We'd definitely recommend him to anyone and we have plans to use him in the future on other projects. <br />

<p>Arrived on site at appointed time. Explained procedure and when there would be loud noise from tools.</p> <p>Prepared door frame for larger door. Installed new door with lever handles. Periodically updated us on progress.</p> <p>Took normal break and lunch. Informed us when leaving and when returning. </p> <p>Finished product was so well done that you could not tell the floor transition to LR from BR wasn't re-done.</p> <p>The new door and hardware was elegant and, and the rooms in the work area were cleaned of any construction residue.</p> <p>Work crew was very quiet and polite. </p> <p>Used this company for ramp (wheelchair) in garage 6 months ago with similar results.</p> <p>This is why we will use them again.</p>

Mr. Samuel Sharpe showed up on time and performed all the tasks that I asked him to do. I contacted about 6 or 7 Contractors for this project. Only three showed up to give me a estimate,the other 4 never called me back. In this age of instant communication, I feel that sometimes customer service is a thing of the past.Of course, I remember going to the gas station and a attendant would fill your gas tank,check your oil and wash your windows.Ah,the good old days! Samuel Sharpe reminds me of those days gone by. He will go out of his way to accommodate you. I added on about 5 extra things on my original bid and he performed these tasks flawlessly.Samuel is a easy going person who keeps you informed how each and every project is going .I feel that his workmanship,professionalism,and attention to detail is superb.I feel that for everything that Sam did and the total cost that I was charged,it was a very good investment for my house. I would like to give Sam a 10 and a A+ for a job done extremely well done. The Sharpe Construction team did a great job from start to finish.  Very knowledgeable and experienced with walking through the process, discussing options, and developing a plan that would provide top notch work at an extremely fair price.  I couldn't have asked for a better experience and am excited to remodel the rest of our bedrooms with their services.  Also, after the project was complete, I couldn't even tell that they had been in our home because they were so careful and left the work area cleaner than it was before.   This company is absolutely what you are looking if you're doing home construction projects.

<p>My first request for a proposal included a request that the project be completed in less than 3 weeks..Despite the schedule he had,Sam assured me he could do it. ( my wife was being discharged from the TCU ).  </p> <p>He started the project 2 weeks before her coming home and finished it in 1 day, He came when he said he would, accomplished the project, and Left MY garage floor cleaner than before he started.</p> <p>He and his helper were kind and respectful. Except for the power tools, you hardly knew they were there.</p>

Sam is very professional and was very responsive to our calls and questions.  Quality of work was excellent and was completed on the schedule Sam promised. Would definitely recommend and use Sam again for future projects. <br />

He was able to design around a previously existing access panel and incorporate it into his design so it goes unnoticed, but we still have access.  He also fixed a a few other minor issues for us that he came across during the process.  Job well done.
