The owner Doug personally came out to the house to bid out the job. His prices were 50% or more than the other 3 companies bids. His employee Wallace came out and repaired the needed parts and did a fantastic job. Wallace and Doug were very thorough about the work and the price. I’m beyond impressed with Shaw’s plumbing and would use them again for any plumbing repair work. So glad to have found a small company that does exceptional work for a price that won’t stress out your budget. Thanks again Doug

He was very nice, easy to get along with. He came the very next day and Immediately check it out found what was causing the leak and said he would be back the next day and did. Fixed the leak and the other things that needed to be replaced. I would definitely recommend him.

We called Doug at Shaw Plumbing because we had an Emergency situation on a Saturday morning. Our plumbing drain backed up and waste water was coming up in our 1st floor Master Bath tub and stand up shower. We called a major company and was told they wouldn’t come out till Monday. Doug from Shaw Plumbing came out right away for us to save the day for our family. Doug was able to clear the blockage from the drain clean out and got everything working properly within minutes. I cannot thank Doug and his apprentice enough for coming out to help us in such short notice. I will call Doug again for any of my plumbing needs in the future. Doug is very professional, personable and friendly. I will definitely recommend to others!!

Doug and his colleague were extremely professional - best to talk to Doug over the phone and in person, compared to texting - you get a better sense of the person and their work ethic and professionalism. Very impressed with their patience in explaining every step and question we had. Very competitive price offered (best quote v 2-3 others) and did the job in a few hours (water heater replacement, and relocation into better, more serviceable location). Already have plans for the next faucet/shower related repair. Recommend with no reservations.

I shopped for three companies to quote me. Two of them were within $5 of each other. The third was $350 higher than both of the other two. I hired the lowest quoted company and I could not have been happier. Doug Shaw exudes an extreme amount of customer service and his prices are some of the best that I have ever seen. He cleaned any messes they made and left my home looking as it did when they arrived. Additionally, in an effort to get my heater working again in a timely fashion, he made two trips to my house within four hours, simply to work with the manufacturer and get the heater covered under warranty. Once he had the warranty claim all resolved, he requested approval to work on it in the evening, to which he did and before I went to bed, we had hot water again. Anyone that uses Shaw Plumbing will not go wrong. Doug and George are both really super guys to work with. VERY PLEASANT!!!!
