Tim is the best service technician! He was out today today for a maintenance and service call. He is very experienced and clearly explained what was needed and to recap at the end of the visit! I first started working Sheer Comfort in 2023 when they installed a new AC & Gas furnace for my home. I obtained 5 quotes from highly rated companies before deciding which company to engage. I worked with Travis Shearer (owner) on deciding which options were best for my home and I was impressed with his knowledge, fair pricing and ease to work with. The project was well supervised by Carl and installed by David & Eli......they were all great to work with. Tonya in the office was excellent in keeping me posted on timelines and managing the coordination for permitting and coordinating with the 3 sub-contractors needed for running gas lines and electrical to connect my new furnace and for a plumber to make changes to my water heater from my old gas forced air system. Sheer Comfort is the best!

Pretty good overall, though there was delay in ordering parts and after installation, they had to return the next day to adjust cables in one of the furnaces which had gone out. All works fine now. The bill came in a bit under the estimate and there was no charge for coming out to make the adjustment. (Their initial call out to assess the situation was reasonable, ~$65 w/ tax.)

Our initial estimation contacts - Clint THEN Frank were amazing. Timely, professional, took time to walk me through things, answered all of my questions and concerns thoroughly and gave me options. Frank came back with Tyler to do a load estimation to ensure we had the right size unit for our home. Ryan and Rob were our installation crew (along w Clint) and were also very courteous, informative, professional and polite. I also love how every member of the team was so thorough in cleaning up after themselves as well as courteous in taking shoes off when in the house. Brenda from the office was prompt in keeping me informed and very polite every time I called with questions. I love LOVE how they also gave us options for our install so it didn't feel like they were just trying to push the most expensive option on us. I could NOT have had a better experience and would highly recommend using this company for your HVAC needs in the future. We will absolutely be using them for any & all HVAC needs that may come up in the longer term. Thank you Sheer Comfort Team - you made our new HVAC install process a breeze. This is the best heating and cooling companyI have ever dealt with.Have used others in the past. Frank and his crew were very professional and affiant. They are the best! I highly recommend them!!!!!

It went great. Pat showed up about noon and he quickly checked the system and advised on a couple of courses of action. He filled the system and within minutes the house was cool again. I know I will have to replace the unit in a few years as the R22 refrigerant is phased out. But now I have a few years to plan for that eventuality.

The guys were great! Worked in cold wet conditions and didn't complain or slow down. Very professional. Didn't take short cuts-made sure everything was done correctly.

Entire process was seamless. Frank gave me a fair price and his techs did a phenomenal job with the install. Brenda in the office was fantastic to coordinate with, and their technician taught me a great class on using the system. County inspector even made a comment of what a great job this company did. I would highly recommend Frank and his crew to do business with. I cannot express in words how happy we are with our new heat pumps. So far they are working great!!

They were very professional, cleaned up very well behind them, called to follow up and I have had no problems with it. They did a very good job. <br />

Four years ago I used a competitor air conditioning company to install an $10,000 unit - The kind with all the bells and whistles. The unit never worked correctly and I have about 15 to 20 repair tickets over the last 4 1/2 years. I had multiple companies try to fix the problem, but to no avail. Finally I called Frank at Sheer Comfort. They came out quickly and Frank was astonished at all the problems I have had with the unit. He asked if I could wait a day or two for results and I agreed. He acted on my behalf with the manufacture of the air conditioning unit was able to get me a brand-new unit (inside and out) for free. I heard him on the phone speaking with the manufacturer? He was actually arguing on my behalf! After a couple days he called me back with the good news. The next afternoon, his crew was here installing my brand-new unit. All I had to do was pay for the labor. Sheer Comfort's workers were prompt and courteous. The job was completed as scheduled and I am one happy customer! <br />

Wow! What a company! We just really appreciated Frank's attitude and the ability of the team to get the job done. They even came out on Saturday on the weekend before Thanksgiving so we'd have heat for the holiday with folks coming in. We will be forever grateful for the Sheer Comfort team. Everyone was professional, punctual, and courteous. They told us what they were going to do and did it. What a concept! One that is lacking in so many workmen these days it seems. Anyway, we terribly grateful and thankful for Frank Shearer and Sheer Comfort!! Even the office staff is amazing. Thanks again! <br />

Something was amiss in the wiring of my ac system that kept it from coming on. The technician was in the area and came by in less than 30 minutes. Lucky or not, that was simply awesome, especially when it was in the thick of ac season. They worked methodically and quickly to find and remedy the problem.   They were professional and very pleasant.  They made sure to clean up any debris left behind.  I had a few related questions and they were happy to respond. <br />  I am very pleased that I have cool air now and feel that the folks at Sheer Comfort are worth recommending without any issues. <br /> <br /> <br />

We use Shear Comfort to perform routine maintenance on our units.  This year they discovered the coil in the second level air handler was rusting badly and had developed a freon leak.  Since the system used the old freon, which is getting expensive, and I had concerns about the compressor unit's long-term health, we opted to replace the system.  The price we were quoted was reasonable considering the equipment and installation. <br /> Unfortunately, I was going on an extended business trip and was not going to be home when we scheduled installation.  To further complicate matters, my wife's office is directly underneath whether the second level air handler resides in the attic, and the attic access is in her office.  <br /> Shear Comfort showed up as promised, and did the installation with no disruption to my wife's work.  She reported to me that she really did not notice them working above her, and considering she spends a reasonable amount of time on the phone, that says something.  They completed the work as expected and the system was back up and running. <br /> When I returned home I inspected the work.  If I had not known the air handler had been replaced, I would not have known any work had been done.  The attic was neat, the work well done, and everything else left in as good or better condition than it was when I left.  Same for the area around the compressor unit outside. <br /> Everything was first rate, they showed up as promised (around here, that is rare enough to be unusual), they used quality equipment, the price was good, and I know from past experience they stand behind their work.  Shear Comfort long ago earned my loyalty, and they reinforced that during this job. <br /> I only wish their service area extended to my mother-in-law, who is 450 miles away! <br />

Installation was done on promised date. Job was completed much more quickly than I expected.  Job cite was left in good order and all trash was removed from our premises.  One small problem was discovered several weeks after installation but it was handled promptly and to my satisfaction. <br />
