I had several wasps nests around the corners of my home and in a vent. There was also one I didn't notice but the very keen and knowledgeable team member pointed it out. All were gone in a matter of minutes. He also noticed the mud wasp nests on stone work at my home. I learned something new today! Quick and pleasant staff with excellent communication on work being done. I highly recommend them.

Mike came on time, he performed the inspection and determined that problem was minimal and only limited to one bedroom. He assured us that treatment was effective enough to take care of problem. After first few weeks of treatment when we continued to have concerns regarding treatment efficacy, we called his office and that's when we faced our nightmare. His office staff was very rude, told us to wait everytime we called week after week. We were never able to talk to Mike to see if he will come back to check again. We were always given the run around and finally we were told after multiple calls that we will have to pay again for Mr. Mike to come out and possibly treat again. We were never given appropriate response or reasoning to why we can't talk to Mike, it appeared he was never accessible for his customers to address their concerns despite his and his company's claims of friendly, customer oriented business looking forward to work with his customers which was never the case.

Mark came out quickly. Polite, efficient & got the job done.

They did a general pest treatment both indoors and out. Everything went very well.

We still had spiders after the first spraying, but the house was vacant for a long time before we remodeled it, so it was a unique case. They came back to do a second treatment at no additional cost and it worked perfectly. Everyone was very friendly and professional and they showed up on time. We would use them again. <br />

Mark is a really great resource for homeowners to have in the protection of our dwelling space. He kept his appointment time and his charges are very reasonable. Such great customer service - he does not take advantage of people who have a strong aversion to creepy things. By putting us in the mind of the pest, we learned his methods for elimination and control of the big ants would be safe, effective, and long lasting. Mark thoroughly covered the perimeter, basement, and upstairs of our home, even the garage and attic. Mark knows his work well, makes sure not to over apply any treatment, and he's very reassuring. We will gladly use Mark for our pest control needs in the future. <br />

I took in a stray cat, and when I took it to the vet, he said it had fleas, and therefore my house had fleas and I needed to call an exterminator. He recommended I find one that would sterilize new hatchlings rather than one that would kill only existing fleas with an insecticide bomb. I found Shepp Pest Control, and when I asked what they would do, they described exctly what the vet had recommended. Mark was able to come within a few days, at a time of my convenience. I gave him an A for punctuality, even though he was an hour late, because he insisted on giving me a discount because he was late! He was very friendly, seemed very competent, and completed the work in short order. The price was extremely reasonable, even without the discount. He guarantees the work and urged us to call him to come back at no additional cost if we saw any further problems. If I have any further need for an exterminator, I will definitely call on Shepp again. They are a family owned business, and I recommend them to anyone looking for an exterminator. <br />

Arriving on time in a vehicle with no advertising displayed whatsoever, Mark first walked me around the entire outside of the house. He explained that any indoor carpenter ant infestation would be a satellite nest arising from a main source somewhere outside, e.g., wood piles, and mature trees with openings or branching close to the ground. Sure enough we found a large tree with a triple trunk about 20 ft from the back of our house with a very active carpenter nest in the center of the divided trunk. Also, there was a large wood pile nearby. These two areas were sprayed with a slow-acting insecticide which would be carried into and through the nest. Additionaly five other large trees on our property were sprayed as a preventative. Then the entire perimeter of the house at the foundation/ground level was also sprayed for the same purpose. <br /> <br />Next Mark and I came back inside to deal with the carpenter ants inside the ceiling beam area. For this treatment he used a cartridge containing a gel insecticide that was applied similar to using a caulking gun. He explained that the gel is completely safe for interior use and would not be harmful to humans or pets because it does not produce an aerosol like the outside treatment. Just as important, Mark explained that the gel is formulated to be very slow acting and would be carried back into the deeper parts of the nest to eradicate the queen and eventually all of the surviving carpenter ants. I also pointed out two areas in our basement ceiling that had evidence of water damage from a previous plumbing break, and he treated these with the gel insecticide. <br /> <br />Finally, Mark recommended that we wait a week or more before closing-up and repairing the beam, and he said to call him if we had any questions or concerns. Since we've had such a long history with the roofing problem and beam repair, we decided to make a temporary, cosmetic repair so we could easily recheck to see if the ant population died off. And just as Mark explained originally that the process would be slow, we did call back after a few weeks and left a message reporting that the population activity was decreasing but was not gone entirely. He returned our call promptly and assured us that what we described was normal and expected. Again he added that we should not hesitate to contact him again. <br /> <br />As of this date, 11/26/12, we know the carpenter ants are eradicated. We are extremely pleased with the services of Shepp Pest Control. We also have a one-year guarantee on this service call, and we intend to call this company for a repeat treatment next Summer, 2013. Everything was handled in a most courteous, helpful and professional manner. We would happily continue to use Shepp Pest Control and ABC Wildlife Company in the future as well as recommend them to family and friends! <br />
