we have use this company before, and we are always satisfied with their work and workmanship. this is a family business and local. They really go above and beyond to do beautiful work and work with you every step of the way if you have questions about materials, hardware, everything. I highly recommend them for large or small jobs as we’ve used them for both… they built us two beautiful decks, and they completely gutted and remodeled our master bathroom into something you think you’d only see in magazines…

GREAT contractor; just look at this deck!! Don Sherman Builders LLC is my contractor of choice from now on! We had a very old TREX deck off the back of our sunroom, very small- it was on a second story- very high off the ground. We wanted to increase the size of the deck but since our sunroom was a weird shape, we had no idea how we were going to do this and have a decent looking set of stairs go down to the patio below. Don came in and had it figured out quickly, gave us a good drawn-out plan with measurements noted, and a fair price. Through the course of the job he communicated well and I never had to wonder...is he going to be here today or not? Is this going to get done or not? Every change or upgrade in the project was written out and added to the original four corners of our agreement; nothing was left to a "guesstimate".Don is very up front that he is "semi-retired" and works from about 10-3pm daily. He loves what he does and it shows!

Working with Don and his team at Sherman Builders was a delight! My new home is absolutely wonderful and perfect for me. Doing a full house build during Covid, in a historical district, subject to special environmental rules due to being close to the bay was NOT EASY! But Don made it happen. Each bump that we encountered along the way he assured me that he would figure out a way to conquer it, and he totally did. He is a man of his word, and very knowledgeable. A+

Very nice quality work performed by these Gentlemen. This Team is professional, friendly, willing to listen and answer questions, and the job was completed in a very timely manner. The job site was cleaned up at the end of every day and when the job was completed. We will be hiring them to perform additional work for us in the future.

We were very pleased.

Very poorly. He only works 4 hours a day, does not return texts or phone calls and does not complete his end of the contract. I paid him for the changes we made, then after we move in, he want more money to complete the septic system and final grading. He also did a poor job building the house. Doors will not close, paint on the floors, hires cheap contractors that do not know how to pour concrete or drywall. The drywall installers smoked in my new house. I stopped construction until the matter could be resolved, which was about 7 workdays. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY EVER FOR ANYTHING!

The work was excellent and my remodeled kitchen turned out beautiful!!! I would definitely use them in the future?

It was good. They were on time. They were still working until they got home.

Outstanding workmanship. Sherman builders tore the roof off of my house and built an entire second floor on to the house effectively doubling the size of my home. The second floor addition included new electrical, heat and AC, bathroom with tile shower, bedrooms, closets etc. The work was done within budget and on time.

Perfect! Sherman was a good worker. He's the only builder that I will use.
