Jeff was great. He helped me every step of the way. I couldn't make up my mind about what kind or color of flooring to get and he was able to find exactly what I wanted even though I was unsure. This was a rush job and he stayed with me every step of the way, and seemed to care that it was done right. I couldn't have asked for a better person. I would definitely use him again, even though I can't get in touch with him now.

Jeff did everything we asked him to do. He was willing to do whatever we needed to do.

Jeff did an excellent job and he is easy to work with. I would highly recommend him for any remodeling or small jobs. I will definitely use him again. <br />

My initial impression was good  when I first spoke to Jeff on <strong>6/26/14. </strong> I discussed the job with Jeff and what would be involved. He mentioned having a big siding job he was finishing up but could come measure in a couple of days.  Soon we discussed the details of getting the door ordered and having it put on with locking door hardware since it is outside.  The next time I spoke with Jeff was on <strong>7/21/14 </strong>when I called him.  I felt that waiting 3 1/2 weeks was being patient enough to hear something.  Jeff informed me he hadn't heard anything but guessed he could call them to check on it.  Again, he mentioned having a job he was finishing up and would be a few days before being able to get to it.  Jeff called to make arrangements before coming and installed the door on <strong>7/29/14. </strong> I authorized him to do so and informed him that my wife would be home to pay him.  When I got home that evening, my wife said that they forgot to bring the door hardware and asked her what she wanted done.  She had them put the old one back on and didn't realize that a new one was something negotiated in the price of the job.  I called Jeff about this pointed out that I should have been the one he consulted as my wife had no knowledge of our agreement.  Jeff agreed to come replace the door knob and the gold hinges with silver ones. I was told that he could pick them up the next time he went to the hardware store.  This was on 7/29 and I have not seen or heard from him since.  On <strong>8/26/14, 2 months after initial contact, </strong>the job is still not complete.   <br />  I believe Jeff does good work and is great if you're planning a big project like windows or siding.  I'm glad that his business is prospering but I felt that my small job was too insignificant  to devote his time and would be done when he could "get around to it."  I've been looking for a "handyman" to possibly do many repair and remodeling projects at my house that would likely add up to thousands in business by the time all were through.  Unfortunately, Sherwood Home Improvement's audition with me will not win them the part.  <br />

For one thing, once he came, you had his word that he'd stay until the job was finished.  None of this business of starting a job, then disappearing.  Also, Jeff explains what he's doing and why he's doing it.  He doesn't mind stopping work to show you what's going on.  Everybody on the job was polite and friendly.  Would we hire him again?  Already have.  He's coming back later this summer to do a bathroom renovation.

Overall experience went fine. I had no problems. The workers, who came in to do the installation, were fine. They were kind of slow getting out here and actually initiating the job and making the job happen, that is the only thing that would bring them down just a little bit.

<p>While replacing an upstairs sink faucet, the plumber noticed a dampness and slight mist coming from the area where the water pipe entered the wall.   I called Jeff at Sherwood Home Improvement to work with the plumber and repair the pipe that had a pinhole leak.  The repair entailed removing a portion of the sheetrock wall in the downstairs dining room to get at the problem.   Jeff was not only responsive, but coordinated with the plumber and tenant and had the problem fixed in no time.  He also worked with the plumber to consolidate the bill for all work, making it much easier for me to manage this property.</p>

Jeff is a real pro at his craft and a gentleman by nature.  When you call to make an appointment for an estimate, he takes time to listen to what you want and makes every effort to meet with you as soon as possible.  Then he actually shows! Jeff never makes you feel like he's in a hurry and is wonderful about talking through your project until he understands exactly what you want.   I don't believe you can beat his pricing, and I know you won't beat his quality craftsmanship.   He shows on time, works hard and long, uses only the best assistants, and finishes what he starts.  He restored my faith that there is help for folks that need someone to do relatively small jobs as well as the big ones, that cares about doing it the way the customer wants, and provides excellent customer service and workmanship. I'll always call Jeff first, and I recommend you do the same.  You won't need to make any other calls. ;) <br />

I own the rental house where this work was accomplished, but live out of state.  It's difficult to keep everything working when you are not in the area.  I contacted Jeff Reed of Sherwood Home Improvement and gave him a brief rundown on what I thought was wrong with the kitchen floor (leaking refrigerator from prior tenant had gotten under flooring and softened the floor in two areas).  Following the repairs, I also wanted new flooring placed in kitchen and pantry area.  Also, I needed several faucets replaced and a board replaced on outside of house (squirrel damage).   Jeff contacted tenant and arranged to take a look at all the problems I described.  He gave me an estimate for repair that I thought was very reasonable.   After completion of the floor repairs, I contacted my tenant who is a lovely elderly woman and she was very very impressed with the work Jeff did, and also the courtesy he displayed during the entire time he was in her home.   WOULD I USE JEFF AGAIN - I ALREADY HAVE.   I will report on that job as soon as it is complete.

Jeff is a very polite individual who charged be a fair price for the work accomplished.  I'm selling a home and received a home inspection report with a list of necessary repairs.  He fixed the window problem and consulted me with several other smaller issues that I could fix myself, effectively saving me a bunch of money.  I'd call him again in the future. <br />

They answer our phone, show up on-time, and do a good job.  Overall, I rate them highly.  I would use them again in the future.
