Joe did a wonderful job putting new hardwood floors in our kitchen. Everything went well and it looks so nice. Joe is a pleasure to work with a we plan to be working with him again soon.

Joe and SHF are so easy to work with; he is a master of his craft. He did our floors in white oak navigating the ancient layers of different uneven materials lurking beneath - and now we have a clean beautiful timeless aesthetic. Additionally he recently completed the stairs to match and they look fabulous - with character for days, integrated as if they were built in the original home and much more sturdy. I look forward to calling Joe for my next flooring project!

I have know Joe and his team for well over a decade, both personally and professionally. Joe and his team do incredible work from demo, install to re-finishes on existing floors & stair treads. Joe is family man, and takes his craft very seriously, he is super accountable, knowledgeable and trustworthy as could be in your home. Thank you Joe, Mark and Fidel. I had wood floors in a 1940's house that I'm pretty sure have never been sanded and refinished and the team did an amazing job bringing out the beautiful look of the red oak. They completed the job in 4 days on 720 sq ft and the price point is exactly what I expected. I had one board that needed replacing and I can hardly tell. Excellent detailed work and would highly recommend to anyone refinishing floors.

Joe was a pleasure to work with, start to finish. His bid was not only the most competitive but we also decided to go with him because he has was knowledgeable and we trusted him immediately. His crew showed up on time and the job was completed within the timeframe. He ripped up our old carpet, tile, fake hardwoods, baseboards, worked hard to make our subfloor level, and provided me with a custom stain color. In addition, he ended up having to rebuild one of the staircases which he did not charge us extra for. He also applied nonslip finish to our stairs at no extra cost. When he was here, we always felt that he was giving us his full attention and made us feel like his most important job. He always took the time to answer all my questions. We have gotten so many compliments on our floors; the contractor that we hired after the floors were finished even commented on how great they looked and asked us for Joe's info so that he could possibly use him. We are so glad we went with Joe. We highly recommend him!

FANTASTIC. Joe and his crew did a phenomenal job. The floors were hand sanded along the edges and lightly sanded over all. A clear sealant was applied and they look brand new. I really appreciated the work Shorewood Hardwood Flooring did for us and would highly suggest to anyone to consider them first over any other refinishing company.

It was a wonderful experience dealing with Shorewood Hardwood Flooring from the time of the estimate to the completion of the work. The owner, Joe Brower, came out my house to discuss my particular flooring needs and provided excellent information about my options. Joe and his workers, Kevin and Zach, are professional and skilled flooring experts. Once the work started, they showed up on time, left things tidy at the end of every day and completed the job in the estimated time. There were a few small finishing details that needed to be fixed and these were responded to promptly. Some of the old baseboards needed replacing and they were so well-matched to the baseboards being re-used that I can hardly tell the old from the new. The maple floors are just beautiful, so much better than I had ever imagined!! My friends all are amazed at the transformation to my house. You won't go wrong choosing this company.

The floors turned out PERFECT! We are so pleased and actually a bit surprised. I had a number of companies come look at the project and I learned it wasn't an easy straightforward job. Joe and his team are competitively priced, professional and did an amazing job. Couldn't be happier.

Our floors turned out fantastic. Joe and his crew got into our house and made quick work of our 800 sq ft installation. Joe told us up front how long job would take and delivered on time and the final product was beautiful. They took time to plastic wrap our cabinets and pictures hanging on the wall to minimize dust etc, and then removed it all, leaving us with minimal clean up after completion. We could not be happier with the service received from Shorewood Hardwood Flooring.
