Shutters 9-1-1 LLC

They did rehang my shutter but did not have the proper crank to see if it would roll up. They told us the gear shift was broken and they doubted they could find a part. We asked them to look and also give us a quote for a new one. He said a new one was approximately $2600 and that the shutters were so old they would all fail soon. We did not get a reply that day. Our real estate agent wanted proof that we were trying to fix the inspection report issues so we contacted the office to request a receipt for the $100 rehabg fee. We were denied. Said it was a cash deal. The installer had also refused our request when he left. My agent found me someone new who came the same day. Exchanged the pole and crank. there was nothing wrong with the gear shift at all and told us the shutters could last another 20 years. For a total of $265. I would never recommend this company to anyone and would hope Angies list will investigate this

Reasonable price good service

It is too bad that I cannot rate this company lower. The techs came out, and I thought they would give me an estimate, but they started drilling the lock hole larger, which was not even necessary. The shutters were not sealing properly because I did not know how to properly shut them since we were new to this house. They spent 10 minutes here, advised me on how to properly close the shutters, and charged me $140. They did no repair work other than unnecessarily drilling my locking hole larger. This company is a total rip-off. Do not ever call them to work on your storm shutters or anything else.

The company does good work. They cleaned and conditioned my accordion shutters.

I have used this company twice and both occasions received professional quality service. The company owner does things right with the highest integrity and work ethics. Without hesitation I highly recommend Shutters 9-1-1 for shutters. The owner stands behind all his work and his installers are professional and competent to make sure 100% customer satisfaction. His staff are highly effective and maintain regular contact with customers to advise them in every step of the installation process. Kudos to Allison and Karen on staff and the installers ; all extremely effective in communications with the customer from start to finish in installation. Hard workers, worked nonstop, neat, clean, appearance, friendly. Cleaned their mess before they left. I recommend this company to everyone !

I had a total of six quotes for this (storm shutters) job & 911 was the least expensive. I was skeptical due to their low price but trusted the fact that the county inspector would do his job. I’m glad that I did because they did a great job (& I have installed my own shutters in the past). They were professional & do not overcharge like some others did. I had a bid that was 90% higher then 911, for the same work. My wallet doesn’t regret hiring them….

The quality of the product is excellent. But you must be careful with the offer as they do not meet the discounts offered.

Great experience from start to finish. Install was within the estimated time. Install crew was courteous and provided all operational instructions. Price was reasonable compared to other estimates. We’re extremely happy with our choice to purchase the Nautilus shutters as we were not only looking for hurricane protection but also sun blocking on our east and west facing bedroom windows. These shutters have given us complete blackout conditions for sleeping and reduced the heat penetration into our home.
