Sierra did an excellent job—efficient, high quality, and on budget. The house had 40 years’ worth of deferred maintenance:electrical, plumbing, painting, finishes (stone and wood) and HVAC in a remote location. Sierra’s crew was onsite for one month, working seven days a week. There were no delays because “we have another job,” or other typical GC reasons for delay. This job (spring 2026) was Sierra’s second for us. The quality, attention to detail, and customer service are incomparable. I know Scott Phillips to be a professional of the highest standards of workmanship, honesty, and integrity. Unqualified superlative endorsement.

The most challenging part about hiring a general contractor is finding someone who is honest, trustworthy, and dependable. Scott and his colleagues are all those. I had a thorny leaking roof top deck issue that I had wrestled with over the years, and had hired roof companies to try and fixed it. They came and did a quick “fix” in one day, charged me a lot of money and left. The deck continued to leak. Scott and his team took a different approach- they actually took time to find out where the leak originated, like detective work, including running hoses down different sections of my detect. Such painstaking work took more than one day of course, and eventually they identified the root cause and fixed it. I would trust Scott and his team to do other major renovations of my house, such as kitchen and bathroom renovations. They are professional, efficient, get the job done right, and they are very reasonable in their asking price. I recommend them without any reservations.

We hired Scott Phillips and his crew to do a major remodel of our rental property. They moved walls to gain better use of space and then remodeled the kitchen and bathroom and created a laundry/clothes closet. Additionally, they increased the size of an existing deck and screened in a portion of it. Finally, they repainted the entire house, replacing rotten wood in the process. The site was cleaned spic and span every day. I highly recommend this company.
