Sierra Tree Specialist

Sierra Tree Specialist did a remarkable job. They cut down an old elm tree that was close to power lines when other tree services would not. Of the companies in Albuquerque that would cut down the tree, Sierra Tree Specialist had the best quote by far. The project took a little over a week (trimming the trees, cutting the trees down, grinding the stump) but was done efficiently and with good communication. I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

Overall went well. They had been out about a month previous and gave good quote ($) It was lowest of 3. They were able to accomodate my time schedule which was a big plus for me. They put some of the logs in my far yard and that was a plus I'd say. They misunderstood one intention and ended up removing a very old and probably ugly to some, grape vine, instead of being careful not to remove. I chalk that up to primary language difference and the two trimmers not communicating that one small request. But overall I'd reccomend them- Just stay with 'em while they do the project if you have any details. Two of my neighbors drove by while they worked and got their #. I would use them again and have a quote for some fall work alrady.

I contacted Pedro directly on Tuesday to request an appointment for Friday. Thursday I was contacted by the office to confirm my address and set the time. Pedro arrived promptly at the scheduled time and provided a cost estimate. He told me the workers would be back in about two hours. I heard the workers outside exactly two hours later and went outside to watch them. I supervised the majority of their work -- they were very efficient and careful about other plants, drip irrigation, etc. It took them over an hour to remove the tree stump: they had to do it by hand since it was very close to a cinder block wall. After they were finished they did a very good job cleaning up and hauling off the branches, dirt, and leaves. I was presented a bill that was equal to the estimate I was given plus tax.
