Craig, the company representative, was very thorough and informative. He did not try to oversell and answered all of our questions. The men who did the install were very pleasant and worked nonstop. They explained the equipment. I can't begin to say how pleased we are with our choice of Sigman and would highly recommend them.

I?ve used them for a long, long time and they were terrific. They did a great job for me. I had a maintenance contract with them and I don?t have it anymore. I don?t need the maintenance anymore because the HVAC is getting old. They would come and do maintenance on my HVAC. They were a great company, they came twice a year and cleaned it. I had nothing but the highest praise for them. They do twice a year in the Spring and the Fall. They are not coming this year because I am not going to renew the contract. It has nothing to do with them. They did a terrific job and always have. They would be a 5 on any category for me or as Angie?s List would say, they would be an ?A?. When I started using them I got the 5% or whatever Angie?s discount. Ever year thereafter, they would just go ahead and give me that same rate.   <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Will I use them again all depends on which HVAC unit I buy. If I buy an HVAC unit from a dealership that provides a maintenance contract through that dealership, I may have to go with them. If that?s not the case and I decide to get I will definitely got back to Sigman, that?s how highly I thought of them. I like to do recurring maintenance, that keeps the units working better for a longer period. I can?t promise that yet, because I don?t know what?s going to happen yet when I buy the new HVAC unit. I am probably going to buy the new HVAC in about 6 months. I really don?t know what to say about that. I had an annual service contract and it covered two visits a year. I paid for the contract once a year.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The service rep?s name was John A. He?s the guy that?s been coming out routinely. I would use him just about anytime, anywhere. He?s real honest and very professional when he comes into the house. He?s a guy that puts on these little shoes when they walk in your house. He didn?t ask, he just puts them on before he comes in and he is very thorough. He doesn?t sit around and talk, he goes right to work. When he gets to the end and goes over everything he?s done, he will talk. Like if you ask him questions, he doesn?t make you feel like your rushing him. He?ll answer any questions you have, but he?s not there to chit chat, he is there to work. I like that is ready to stop and answer any questions you may have. He is a quality guy. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The units are almost 20 years old and I?m not going to keep sinking money into maintenance contracts and home warranties that won?t pay off, when I know that I am going to turn right around and get rid of them here in the next 6 months. I just decided to save myself a little bit of money and when they blow up, I?m just going to replace them. I?ve put the money aside for that rainy day. If I thought that this thing could stay up for another 2 or 3 years, then I would obviously go ahead and get another maintenance agreement and make sure I?ve got it running as efficiently as I can.

Everything I said for October 4, 2016 applies equally to April because both occasions if was John A. Both occasions he did the work. He did more work in April then he did in October because he looked at the air conditioning unit outside and cleaned it. He did everything that he did in October plus he did the air conditioning in April. Everything that I described him doing as far as his professionalism and all that stuff applies equally to April.

Service tech was ontimw and actually had to wait for me for 15 min but was in excellent spirit and extremely knowledgeable

It's $139 a year for fall and spring service. They also installed my unit.  <br /> <br /> The technicians I came in contact with were fine. The work was fine.

They came in to repair the central air unit. Tracked mud all over my hard wood floors. Charged me for a part ($160.00) they put on the broken a/c plus $100.00 service call. They did not follow up on a new unit as agreed. They would keep me on hold 15-30 minutes when I called them. Finally had to purchase a unit from another vendor. Sent their part back certified mail and had my credit card company deny payment.

I sent a message at 8, received a call back at 10, and a technician was at our house at 1:30 the same afternoon. He fixed the problems in about 30 minutes. Everything is working fine again. The technician was on time, diligent, and seemed to know what he was doing.

I called them around 7:45 am, described the problem with my AC unit, and asked if someone could come out this afternoon. They told me yes someone will be out there after noon. They didn't give me a more refined range than "after noon", so I stayed at my house starting at noon while the temperature climbed. I got the warning call around 3:30 pm that he was about 45 minutes away. It took him no more than 30 minutes to diagnose, fix and test the unit. The repair ended up just requiring a capacitor to be replaced. The technician seemed very knowledgeable and efficient.

I sent an email request for an estimate and received a phone call the very next morning.  The sales consultant and installers were polite, professional and very knowledgeable.  I also purchased the yearly maintenance agreement.  Overall it was a great experience!

We have used them for the same in the past. It takes about 3 to 4 hours in our case, because we have more ducts than a house our size would normally have. You can tell a difference after they are done, because you get less dust in the air.

I have used them for over 20 years. I thought that the fact that they got here in less than 10 minutes was good. We called them at 4:30 on New Years eve and told them that we had water in the basement. The technicians vary back and forth.

Water heater died on the weekend (naturally) so I called several companies/sent messages through Angie's List to same companies and Sigman was the first to respond.  while I understand the business plan to be a M-F company, we live in a 24 hour society and so at least having someone monitor the messages/calls on the weekend is important.  Gary (please forgive me if I have your name wrong) responded on Sunday morning and while he wasn't sure he could have someone help us on Sunday, he stated we would be the first call on Monday morning.  He talked us through the option of purchasing a water heater at a 'big box' vendor or having them bring theirs out.  Despite the mark up on the cost, the one they would provide was the same manufacturer as our old one and it would have all of the things needed rather than us possibly not getting everything, so we agreed to let them bring/do everything.  The cost was calculated and, despite it being high (and subsequent 'late' responders to our service need telling us just how high they thought it was) Sigman had responded and demonstrated a desire for our business.  We were/are happy with the service, the installation and the new water heater.  Gary (*) had told us the name of the installer, but he also escorted the installer to our home and made sure the estimate/work was as he had surmised over the phone.  He also called at the end of the day to make sure everything had gone well from our perspective and offered his appreciation for our business and trust <br />

I thought it was a little high but probably in line with what was going on at the time and what needed to be done. They did an excellent job. Everything works great. They did a lot of work and cleaned up after themselves.

I was perfectly and very satisfied with their service.  They have just been great.  They are top notch and have the highest quality.  They have exceptional quality.  They come before spring and on fall for the winter season.  They do thorough cleaning.  I am quite satisfied in getting my money’s worth.  They are flexible in terms of payment.  They are just wonderful.

We have used Sigman Heating and Air Conditioning since we bought our home 26 years ago. The owner had owned the house across the street and then built a new house two blocks away. He used to stop by to service our furnace on his way home from the office. He has since moved further away and now sends younger workman, but they are always polite, friendly and professional. We now pay an annual maintenance fee of around $176 for which they service the furnace and air conditioner twice a year, and guarantees us priority service. The office always calls to remind us to schedule the service and calls ahead to let us know when their technician will arrive. <br />
