Moe and his team are the BEST. He is always available to answer your phone calls, texts, and emails. He will text you photos on the progress of your project. He may not be the least expensive, but you get what you pay for. That being said, he is still sensitive to your budget and needs. What sets him apart is his background as a landscape architect and his focus on drainage. Most landscapers can make your project look nice for the short run. Moe wants to make sure that it'll last for the long run. Chepe his foreman can do more than landscaping - plumbing, electric, and even master arborist. He knew every different kind of tree on our property. Our project was finished on time and on budget.

Signature Landscape is an excellent business and I fully recommend them without reservation. We had Moe come and look at the backyard and frontward landscaping. He was the third company we had come out and give us a quote. He listened to our vision and got to know us. He gave us a design solution that perfectly matched what we wanted. He did it at a better price. And we thought he was the best person of all of the people we met who care about us the best. He did the job and more than delivered. We couldn’t be happier and would hire him again without hesitation.

For those who may not want to read my treatise on Signature Landscape, let me start by summarizing: These are consummate professionals who really care about the work they do and the customer they are doing it for. It was clear to me that it was as important to them that the job was done right as it was to me. They honestly do stake their name on the quality of their work. So, in short, highly recommended. OK, now for more details…First up, let me address price, because frankly when I read reviews that’s a prime question I want answered: “Are they competitive on price?” The answer is yes, absolutely. Let me clarify: Signature Landscape is not going to be your lowest bid, but based on my experience they are price-competitive and frankly for the peace of mind you get by hiring a competent, communicative and experienced team to do the work, any pennies you may have saved on a low-bid are worth spending for the quality and lack of frustration. We chose Signature over the others for that reason and because Signature was much clearer in the specifics of the job, what they were and weren’t going to do. There was no ambiguity, and they are professional in the way they do their contracts. For example, one of the people we had bid (the low bidder) gave a fantastic price, but very little detail. Ok so you’re going to build the wall we want, but what’s the process? What are you going to do and not do and are you going to do it right? Pressed for details they simply didn’t respond. Another contractor kept trying to give me the details on the phone, but wouldn’t respond via email follow-up. These were btw, well-reviewed contractors in my area as well, but I just didn’t feel comfortable with that communication style. Also, knowing the details and the price breakdown was valuable to me since I’ve done a lot of DIY around the house and really have a good sense of what I can and can’t do on my own (and frankly even if I can do something, doesn’t mean I want to or that it won’t take me an ages to accomplish—so sometimes it’s just worth paying the pros). Before continuing describing the work done, I just want to take a moment to say that the proprietor, Moe, is a great guy. You meet him, you instantly like him. I don’t know if Moe uses the same crew on every job, but the team he put in place for us was led by Chepé who is also an extremely friendly and hard-working guy. The amount of work he can do is Paul Bunyun level! Apparently, he’s been working with Moe and Signature Landscape for many many years and you can really see that in their relationship. They’re very much like The Odd Couple and a real treat to work with. A brief description of the project we did includes: Building a sitting wall with a poured concrete cap, laying flagstone for a patio area and a path from that patio to the other side of the yard where I will (again, I’m a DIY guy) be building a deck. We also had a large area filled with pea gravel where we placed planters for a patio garden. The pea gravel also was used—to tie the whole look together—as the fill between the flagstones. A small patch of grass remains in the middle (Chepé reconfigured the existing sprinkler system to accommodate the changes. He also added a valve for me and setup individual drip irrigation risers for watering potted plants and for the planters in the gravel area). While we had an idea of what we wanted, Signature Landscape (both Moe and Chepé) still consulted with us on the look and layout. While they were happy to give us what we wanted, they were not shy with their opinions on what would look best when we were unsure and/or if they anticipated issues with what we envisioned. An example of this is that I had originally envisioned the grass area in a different shape, but it would have created narrow spots that would be difficult to irrigate (didn’t even occur to me). So, based on that advice we changed the look and honestly, I think it’s better than imagined. Likewise, Chepé suggested widening the flagstone path, which again we think looks better than what we originally planned. They also consulted with us on the color of the concrete wall cap, color and texture of the stucco and on and on. Likewise, Moe in particular gave advice on what other things we could do, either DIY or by contracting with him again in the future, that would tie in the remainder of the yard. The project lasted about 3 weeks and we developed a pretty good rapport with the onsite team, which sometimes was just Chepé and other times was a small crew, depending on what was being done. Chepé’s attention to detail is amazing and you can tell he really cares about the quality of his work and those he directed, which I think may explain why Moe and he have been business partners this long. Here’s an example: When they poured the concrete seat, something went wrong with the mix. Not sure exactly what happened, but it wasn’t bonding correctly or something along those lines. I imagine a lesser contractor may have just let it go. Maybe it would have held up, maybe not. Chepé was troweling it, smoothing it out and contouring edge and he clearly wasn’t satisfied, so he just took a sledge hammer to it and started over the next day. Just like that. No complaints, didn’t even blink (though we did go out and buy Chepé and the crew some beers, seemed like they could use it) and while I’m guessing that took a chunk from their bottom line, Signature Landscape didn’t try to pad the budget with other work to recover costs or anything like that. They just did it and got it done and it’s excellent! Likewise, at the end of the job, due to a loose sprinkler connection (not a big deal really), we found out that the new wall was really good at holding water back. Too good (made a nice pond). So, again, without complaint and without charging me a nickel more, the crew came out, dug a drain and fixed the problem. You can’t even tell they were there. And that was true at the end of the job in general. When they finally finished, if it wasn’t for the completed work, you’d never know they’d been there. It was spotless. No equipment left, no debris left, just a job well done.

I could not be happier with Signature Landscape. They transformed my entire front and back yards, including tearing up and replacing all drainage, irrigation, and lighting. The job was made more challenging by having to work around an old artificial rock pool, and removal of a huge amount of roots from old King Palm trees. One of the big advantages is that they have one crew, who does every step of the work, (other than installation of the lighting), from initial demo to planting of the new landscaping, Because of this, the first step was done in a way not to create a problem for the second step, also done in a way not create problems for the third step etc… The fact that the owner, Moe, and his main foreman, Chepe, have been working together for decades also made a huge difference… their 30 years of experience resulted in great ideas/suggestions that I would have never thought of myself. They came up with great solutions to a couple of years long drainage problems, and instead of squared off planting areas, all of the new planting areas are curved, making for a much more attractive aesthetic. Communication between everyone was always wide open, eliminating any instances where decisions were made by assumption. In addition, they were great about accommodating any special requests that I had (such as using glued ABS plastic to replace the old drainage system). My backyard was replaced with pressed concrete, but it looks like it real stone. The use of colored concrete, and then all the detail work done with coloring, texturing, and pressing the patterns, resulted in not only a natural, beautiful appearance, but one that blended in beautifully with my artificial rock pool. The driveway and front walk were replaced with paving stones, which required expertise, experience and patience, to be done correctly. The result was even better than I could have imagined… Every time I walk on it I am amazed at how smooth and beautifully it turned out. My neighbors feel the same. On a major project like this, the devil is truly in the details, and Moe and his crew have the details covered. Everything was done correctly, no corners were cut, and the finished product was exactly what I wanted. Again, I could not be happier with the job done by Signature Landscape. They were professionals in every sense of the word. I have recommended them to many neighbors, and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who wants a beautiful landscaping job, and wants it done correctly. I wish I had another property for them to transform.

I have used Signature landscape for all my landscape projects. When I need to put new sod in the backyard I called Moe. Since I was a repeat customer and he already had the measurements for the area that need to be replaced. He was able to give me an estimate quickly and let me know he could squeeze me in the same week I called for the estimate. He had the grass delivered the day of install. Chepe(foreman) and his workers showed up at 7am to take the shipment of turf and start the install. The team was able to remove the old grass lay down the new grass all in one day. Chepe and his team are the hardest working guys I have ever seen. They do not stop until the job is 100% complete and perfect. They even made sure the sprinklers were working correctly and set up the timer so that the new grass received the right amount of water. Moe and Arshee and the best in the business when it comes to landscape architecture. If you go with Signature landscape you will not be disappointed with the finished project.

A quarter of our existing Yard needed considerable heavy duty work dealing with exposed soil, re-routing drain-pipes and part of an existing sprinkler system as well as installing root barriers for some newly planted fruit trees etc. My husband and I knew exactly what we wanted done in phase 1 of a complete overhaul of our entire back-yard. The area in question also had to remain friendly & safe for our young grandchildren. Preferably, we wanted to hire a local contractor. Finding someone, who would ACTUALLY LISTEN and PAY FULL ATTENTION to OUR NEEDS, was willing to work with us (primarily with me during the project) was a must. It also had to be someone who was flexible enough to adapt to our irregular busy schedules. The selection of Signature Landscaping occurred mainly because prior landscapers we contacted did not respond to our calls or to online written requests from various online referral services, resulting in delay and loss of valuable time for us. Therefore, we proceeded with the removal of weed and root infested lawn area to a significant depth, made some changes and planted new fruit trees by ourselves before we found Signature Landscaping by searching Google in our Zip Code. Moe Khoee, owner of Signature Landscaping, responded within the hour of my call and asked me to send him some pictures. Communications thereafter to and from Signature Landscaping occurred smoothly and rapidly from the efficient Office Manager, Beth, who arranged a meeting with Arshee, Chief Landscape Architect for the company. Arshee turned out to be the perfect individual to work with us to fulfill our requests. He was professional and friendly in his approach, spent substantial time to carefully listen to our plans, agreed to do his best and comply with our schedule. After discussing all the details and answering all our questions to our satisfaction we felt very comfortable to have him do the job. He also brought up some good ideas and assigned the perfect crew for us. Furthermore, he remained faithful to the negotiated contract and never asked for payment until each phase was done. Arshee also kept on top of every aspect of the job (needless to say so did I). He responded to questions during the project without hesitation. We would also like to compliment Arshee’s Project Manager, Pepe, and his courteous assistant. It was indeed a real pleasure to work with all of them. I asked them whether I could take videos and or snap pictures of their painstaking work to share with our close friends and they agreed. Both our family and friends loved the transformation from a weed infested lawn area to a gorgeous weed, dirt free and water saving orchard area of our backyard. To our true delight, we were fortunate to find exactly what we had sought and Signature Landscaping fulfilled our wishes. The Company is at the higher end of the cost we incurred. HOWEVER, Arshee and his crew DELIVERED EXACTLY WHAT THEY PROMISED, were very attentive, went the extra mile with a smile, which was far more important to us! Of course, we will discuss future projects and maintenance with Arshee. My husband and can recommend Signature Landscaping without hesitation.

These guys did an amazing job with my yard. When I moved in it was all dirt, so basically a blank canvas. When I met with Arshee the first time he took one look at the yard and quickly presented me with some great design options, one of which we ended up going with. These guys know their stuff! For me they did my poured concrete, artificial turf, plants, sprinkler system, drainage and a built in gas fire pit. I couldn't be more happy with the way it turned out. The cost was very competitive with other companies. Highly recommended!

I have used Signature Landscape before in Nov. 2015, for a major project (complete replacement of our outdoor drainage system), so I knew they did high quality work. This time they were just as professional, thorough, efficient, and really cared that the work was done correctly. Moe was great about communicating the problem and exactly what was needed to fix it. He was most concerned about doing the job right, not just a quick/temporary fix. I was impressed with their flexibility in fixing the irrigation pipe, they were able to do it without disturbing the concrete or nearby plants. Most impressive (with no advanced notice) taking on a much bigger project of replacing our 40 ft main water line from cooper to PVC. It was a job that would likely take 2 days, but Moe and his team did it in less than one day so my family would have water in the house. If Moe had not quickly identified the scope of the job and quickly placed the correct number of guys on the job I would have been without water for at least a day. This was an high intense labor job, but the cost was very fair. My wife and I are looking forward to working with Signature Landscape (and Moe) in the near future as we re-landscape our backyard

Moe, the owner of Signature Landscape, is a true gem. He is genuine, respectful, accommodating and professional. He spoke with us at length about the options available to correct our problem -- within our budget. He definitely didn't try to gouge us for money and he truly seemed concerned for us to leave the yard the way it was because of all the rains we've been having. He even fit us in between jobs to make sure our yard didn't slide. His team was on-time and quick. He seems passionate about helping his customers and providing good service at a good price. I highly recommend working with Moe and Signature Landscape.

The work was done on time and in a professional manner. All the workers were very courteous and made everything go smooth. Moe even stopped over a few times to make sure the work was being completed as designed.

All went well, except for plant selection which was hindered by my knee surgery and my wifes medical conditions. We were not able to make the selections, due to very hot weather. Other than our problems, all went very well and the results were awe inspiring

The work was completed on time and to my satisfaction but there were a few snags along the way. The crew at first was not very professional. They did not inform me each day what work was going to be performed and they did not keep me informed about their progress. I never knew when they were going to arrive nor leave. They did not clean up very well each day as I found trash and debris in my yard. I felt that they were not treating me with a "customer comes first" attitude. After complaining about this to the owners the work ethic improved greatly. I was very nervous about completing the job in the required timeframe, but Arshee (one of the owners) assured me that it would be completed and even called the water district to make sure that I would receive my rebate. He was also very responsive to my text messages. A few of plants did not survive within 30 days and he replaced them for free as part of their guarantee. Overall my yard turned out beautiful. Several of my neighbors stopped by and had nothing but compliments. I would hire this company again.

I was a bit hesitant at first when I saw their request for pics to be sent with the RFQ but I did it anyway. I interviewed 3 other landscapers and decided on Signature Landscape. Arshee was prompt, extremely friendly and professional. Unlike the other landscapers I spoke with, he was more than willing to share general ideas of what he envisioned for the space. I never felt rushed during any of our follow up meetings. I really appreicate their flexiblity when faced with unexpected changes and challenges. Their project manager, Chepe, was great to work with as well. Pricing wise, they are not the cheapest by far, which is something I'm completely fine with. However, they are extremely flexible and the quality of work is very good. Therefore, at the end of the day, it's a wash. Overall, the Signature Landscape team was a pleasure to work with.

The finished product was truly beautiful. We got several quotes and they were very competitive if not a little lower than some. The only problem we had was in communication. We had a misunderstanding about the company pulling a permit from the city and we had to make sure this was completed before they went any further on the job. Other than that they truly try to create the patio we had asked for and we're very cooperative.

Signature Landscape did a great job transforming our yard space - we wanted to expand our driveway, improve the curb appeal and remove the water thirsty grass of our 1978 home. What we have gained is more than we ever anticipated. We are very happy with the design and flexibility of Arshee and the crew - they were a great group to work with. They worked with us on the design all along the way and the end result is fabulous! Now we have the curb appeal and improved functionality throughout - we have a water efficient and beautiful area for entertaining. I have recommended Signature Landscape to all of our neighbors and will recommend them to anyone beginning this adventure into home improvement.

Moe and his team were excellent.  They removed and replaced the damaged drainage pipes with a minimal amount of disruption to the patio concrete.  They were on time, did excellent work and cleaned up afterward.  They did what we contracted them to do within the pricing presented to us.  The drains now work better than when they were new as Moe designed some additional catch basins that improve the entire system.  This work needed to be completed quickly due to the future storms forecasted.  Moe got the work done very fast.  I would recommend Signature Landscape for any project within their areas of expertise.  I will use them in the future for additional landscaping projects without question.  A really great experience and we are so happy with the result.
