It was great. He was there when he said he was going to be there, he finished the job on time and he does great work.

They were here when they said they would be here. They got the job done before they asked for the money. They cleaned everything up, including the flower beds. I would use them again and recommend their service to anyone.

Process went well. We were trying to close on sale of house and during inspection the roof was determined to have hail damage. Buyer would not close on house until damages were repaired. Closing date was two weeks away at buyers request. I had to get insurance adjuster opinion and find a roofer who would do the work in this two week timeframe. Silas Taylor Roofing agreed to do work at short notice to assist us in closing the purchase. Did an excellent job on roof and repaired skylights. Guttering was also completed within the two week period. Clean-up was satisfactory and all work was approved by buyer. Without the understanding and flexibility of work schedule from Silas Taylor Roofing, it is doubtful we could have completed the sale of our residence. Not only was it done in short notice to assist the sales process, the work was done to the satisfaction of buyer and seller. An excellent job done in a professional manner.

He was extremely reasonable and good. His workers were very polite. They did a good job. They kept it clean after they were finished, my yard was never left in a mess.

Silas Taylor Roofing Co. is the worst roofer in town. I live in Scott, AR and have been here for eleven years now. About five years, there was a leak and my live-in boyfriend of 13 years said that he would call some roofers and get some people out here. Silas came out here and seemed to be a very good, sturdy type of person. He talked like he knew what he was doing. The work he did was not sufficient. Then, he really screwed me up in my office and has yet to fix the problem. He would charge me $10,000.00 to fix a patch, but he never did my office after that structural damage. He hasn't showed up to check on it in over two years, even though we've asked him to. He did this reform about six years ago. From the minute he did it, it was not fixed. I kept calling him and calling him and calling him. He claimed he'd come out and look at it, but he wouldn't let us know when he was coming and due to the way my building is shaped, he said he could not be on it without someone being on the other end. He did not attempt to take care of it. We cut open a piece of the sheet rock to show him where there was a problem; we made a sheet rock incision. What he did was replace a big drain pipe, thinking that would fix a leak I had in my roof.  I have an old building that was built in 1901. I had this one leak back in an area where there was a garage door. Anyway, there had to be a big drainage spout replaced and it's got a special name. I don't know the name. He replaced that one big drain sprout, which he said was the problem, and he did some patching. Come to find out, he did not even attach the drain pipe right. So it's not taking the extra water. I bet we had him out here at least eight or nine times. I've chewed out his ass. My boyfriend has chewed out his ass. The first time I called, he said, "Well, that was eight years ago." I said, "No, Silas. That was less than 12 months ago when you fixed it. We called you and called you and it is not fixed." We were at his office no more than a year ago. We were there a whole lot two years ago working on the roofing and we tried and tried to save his ass. He charged me $8,000.00, but did nothing for me, because of water damage. I can't use my alarm system now. He basically didn't have the experience. I don't know. I don't know what to think about it. I will never use him again and I would never recommend him to anybody. Because the work he did here at my house, we found out after he's done that work at the office, the work he did here was insufficient. He had pulled up a bunch of nails and not put them back down after I had a tree fall on my roof. He patched what needed to be patched, but then there were a whole bunch of nails that were still sticking out, from the wind. He didn't even tack those back down. We tried for six years, starting from the day he installed it and the repair didn't look right. I have no idea if he's in business still. We've not tried to reach him for the last month or so. I just gave up. In fact, we're looking for someone now to go out there and fix it. I show them what the problem is. His price would have been fair had it taken care of the problem.  He claimed he'd been to the house or so he would tell us. I have no problem telling my friends who are looking for roofers, "Do not use him".
