Silver Star Rodent Removal LLC

I received a visit from Brandon of Silver star for a free "pest inspection". After walking around my home and going in the attic Brandon informed that I had a rat infestation. The infestation was apparently so bad that he was able to see droppings all over the attic and fresh droppings at that. Here I blame myself, because my fear of rats kept me from climbing up in the attic and asking that he show me these "droppings". He stated that it was important that I pay and get services right away because they could chew through my wires and cause a fire and were also a health hazard. The amount for services was $1055, 572 of which I paid up front by credit card. A few days later, another inspector entered my attic for a home warranty claim and informed me that there were NO DROPPINGS present anywhere. I climbed up this time! I took pictures and video of the attic, the roof and the placement of the tubes and then called Brandon to let him know he needed to come and retrieve his tubes and give me my money back because he deceived me. After accusing me of cleaning up the droppings, he called his office where he claimed that one of the tubes had been "hit" and he had a picture. I asked him to share this picture with me and he stated that his office told him he was not to send it to me. I was then given a business card and told that I had to call that number to speak with anyone. I called immediately and left a message. I sent an email as well to the address listed on the business website. This was 11/ 15/18. I have yet to hear anything from the business or receive my refund. Brandon arrived with in 30 min of the initial call for services, he was professional and completed the job promptly. I would highly recommend him.

My house got rats from a hoarder neighbor. I could not get rid of them. Used 2 other companies with no luck. Called SilverStar they came right over and went to work.

He had his assistant do some of the work. He would come and make it was done correctly. He also was timely and did the work well. It held up for about a year now. He was a contractor and his assistant had experience in rodent control. They worked together.

I am completely satisfied with the work they did. They were excellent and I really appreciated them working with me on the price as well. There was no mess or smell or anything. They put in special tubes in the attic to remove the rats. It was very painless with no odor. They came out when I could be there, they worked with me and did everything to make my life much easier. They even came back and sealed up all the places that the rats could come in in the future. There was a 2 year guarantee.

I partly got on Angie's List because of my dealings with this company.  I had an outdoor rat problem after I left on vacation for a week and left ripened fruit in my yard.  I had done very extensive research so I already knew the problem and likely remedies.  What I didn't like about this company is that the technician lied to me from the very beginning.  He tried to scare me into services, that I already in my head had committed to before telling him.  He tried to tell me what i had rat droppings in my garage, but I already knew that it was NOT rat droppings, but gecko droppings (has a white tip at the end).  I just let him go on and on about it, and that should have been a red flag to not use this company.  Nevertheless, I wanted to hurry and get my house sealed.   <br /> Other than the estimate visit, the technician was never on time.  One day he didn't show up AT ALL as scheduled, and then one day, we just found him in our back yard -- SURPRISE!  no phone call or knocking on our door to let us know he was coming.   <br /> When i tried to get more service from the technician as part of the 1 year guarantee, he literally started to get hostile with me which honestly scared me.  I spoke to the owner of the company, and he told me that he was going to call me back, and he never did.  This is a horrible company!  They did seal my house as confirmed by another Pest Control company that I hired afterwards, but I never trusted or liked their service or company. <br />
