WOW!!!! Professional, courteous! I had serious hail damage to my roof and Single Source came in, did the estimate, contacted my insurance company and within a few weeks, I have a fabulous looking new roof upgraded roof! Justin at Single Source is extremely knowledgable on building codes and because of that, he was able to show the codes to the insurance company to get the upgrades covered. Their roofing team worked from the moment they arrived with one short lunch break working almost 12 hours. They completed the entire job in one day and my roof is 2,000 square feet, so it's a sizable roof. The team was very careful to protect my gardens, they moved plants, lawn furniture and put everything back they in place before they left. The clean up was impeccable! Not a scrap of shingle, paper, trash or nails left to be seen! I would highly recommend Single Source for all your repair needs caused by damage.

It went very good Single Source was very prompt in assesing the damage and giving an estimate to my insurance compay the repairs were performed the following week and finished the same day they did a great job the communication with them was excllent!

Sean and his team couldn’t have been more professional. They came and unfortunately had to take down some walls to dry the water leak. They clearly explained the process, did what they promised and were very reliable. The room looks like it is brand new. Highly recommend.

Words cannot even express how grateful I am to this company. We had a leak in our home that began on the third floor and traveled all the way down to the first. Our basement was full due to construction on our home and floors being refinished. Unfortunately, during construction, our previously dry basement, flooded. Jack Pomeranz ( owner of company) came over and explained how his workers would carefully pack things up, clean them and return. What a mess! I had no choice but to trust what he said. I had two small children. <br /> One day a worker dropped off a box of paintings - they were all stuffed sideways in a cardboard box - one frame was actually ripping right through an antique painting. I still have the painting, had it repaired. However, the value is gone. There were also a few other items that were returned broken. Thank goodness, when I was unpacking one particular box the manager of the company was standing right there and saw how poorly it was packed and the broken items. His name was Chris. Chris immediately assured me that the company has insurance for things like this. Jack Pomeranz called and also told me not to worry things would get taken care of. I had to keep calling and calling for over a year. There were also two flat weave wool rugs that were never returned. Jack finally said to my husband and I that he would give us $400 to just drop it. We saw nothing. What about the insurance money? What about the value of my things? I would like to add that at the time of this unfortunate event I was an Art/Antique dealer working in interior decorating.. The one particular box that I opened in front of Chris, the manager, had an antique Tiffany bowl in it in three pieces! <br /> I realize that this review comes much later - I just never had it in me to write something or knew where to do it. Today I signed up for Angie's list to find a good place for kitchen cabinets and I felt the urge to tell my story. <br />

It was around $1,400 but I didn't pay anything because it was through insurance. I don't have anything bad to say about them. They were good and efficient. They got the job done real fast and they were gone. I was very happy with them.

I was having a problem with dust etc. I had removed one of the vent covers and looked down and went to Angies list to see who they would recomment to clean the vents. I called this company after reading the reviews listed. I spoke to them and set up and appt for Friday. I did not have them come to do an est - I knew approx how many vents I had to clean. They gave me an idea of what it would cost based on this. 2 very nice men came to do the cleaning - were very nice to my dog... big... Both were very neat in appearance, and very respectful. They were very concerned with getting the job done right which I really appreciated. The areas that they worked in looked better when they left. Was very inpressed with they work they did and would recommend them to anyone that needed this service done.

2 workers arrived on schedule and began work immediately. They worked separately at times on different facets of the work, and other times worked as a team. Both were very neat in appearance, and very respectful. They were very concerned with getting the job done right, and I appreciated their work ethic. They made it a point to clean up all areas in which they had worked, and left all of the work areas spotless. Very impressed with these workers, and this company.

Up until the very end of the process I felt confident and comfortable working with Smoke Clean of New England. At the end of the work I received the bill and noticed an extensive list of items that they were charging for, including removing furniture, books, and tools from the basement. However, when they arrived to do the work and commented on these items I had family come over to help me clear out the basement. So then men who came to work in fact, did not complete those items. I found this upsetting and specifically asked that we talk and remove those items since I am in fact the one who did the work. When I attempted to speak with Justin I found him to be very abrasive and disrepectful, at one point accusing me of "nit picking" and "trying to break his balls". The men who were working were there while my family and I cleared out the basement, and at no point did they tell me to stop moving the items or that I was being charged for them to move those items. I continually asked them which rooms they would be working in so that I could clear each area ahead of time. My sister and I had spent the better half of a week researching companies to help us with this emergency. I am satisfied with the workmen, they were courteous and hardworking. But this man has changed my perspective on the job. My other complaint is that the documents I received from Justin, and he added in his own handwriting, stated that the 2nd half of the payment would be do upon completion of the work and verification of the clearance test. A third party came in and wrote up a summary and I was told he would be emailing it to me. However, Justin then told me that I would have to pay the 2nd half of the bill and THEN they would send me the information found in that clearance test. I feel, and they wrote, that the clearance test confirms the work is complete and that I should not be asked to pay them until reviewing that proof.

Mr. Pomerantz was prompt in coming over to give me an estimate and his suggestions. The work was started soon after that and, though it took longer than first estimated, was done well. There were several mathematical errors in the invoices (none in my favor) but these were all appropriately addressed by Mike when they were pointed out, and he adjusted the overall price in a reasonable manner. There was one small oversight in the reconstruction (later fixed), but the latter was, overall, very capably done by one of the subcontractors.

The vice president of the company came out and offered us a better price because they were going to be doing some other work in our home as well. The crew showed up as scheduled and were clear in explaining what they had to do. Some of their equipment was rather obtrusive, but that was hardly their fault - it can be a dirty job. However, they were hard working and seemed to know what they were doing (I sure didn't). They cleaned well and the company even sent me a thank you note with the mailed receipt, which I found to be a simple, yet nice touch.

Mike Pomeranz was a reliable gentleman. He came to the house for inspection and also was there when his crew came to do further examination. He showed up on time and was helpful in referring me to other consultants who could help with any concerns I had.
