Eddie suggested epoxy grout, saying it was sturdier, and wouldn't mildew quickly at all. It was pricier but we agreed to it because it sounded great. Within a few days, hairline fractures of the caulk could be seen all around the bathtub. They only got worse, which has led to leaking into the room beneath the tub. Additionally the caulk has mildew just like regular caulk would have. When we contacted Eddie, he took zero responsibility for his work. He essentially blamed our bathtub for the cracks in the grout, and didn't respond at all the mildew allegations. He refused to come back to fix it. Total con artist.

Everything went perfectly. Both company owner and worker were extremely nice and knowledgeable. Would hire them again in a second.

Eddie came to give an estimate and was very professional. He convinced me to go with the more expensive option, Epoxy, which when googled we couldn't find anyone else who used it. Fine, he said it would take years for any mold to form on it, which is what I wanted. Additionally, he said epoxy was flexible and wouldn't create gaps between bathtub and wall when weight was in the tub like regular caulk can cause. He also said he could reattach a shower wall, no problem, as part of the estimate. His employee came to do the work. He removed the caulk and mildew around the bathtub area and applied the epoxy grout. We waited the necessary 24 hours following treatment to use the tub; almost immediately little slivers formed around the perimeter where the epoxy had been applied. As for the separate shower, the employee said he could not reattach the wall as Eddie had said he could do, and Eddie would not give any discount despite the fact that they did not do everything included in the estimate. Additionally, there is still plenty of mildew in the shower around where the epoxy was applied. If the epoxy didn't crack, I'd be happy overall with it because it does seem very tough. But it has not met our expectations. When my husband brought this to Eddie's attention, he said it's because our bathtub "moves too much." Um, what? Isn't that exactly why he said epoxy would be great for it? Altogether not happy with the service.

One of the gentlemen who was working on my bathtub got sick, and could not finish the job. They eventually got it right, when the owner came and finished the job to specification, fixing the leak we were experiencing.

Eddie and his team solved our tile, grouting and etching problems.  Our original bathroom floor tile was poorly laid and and shifted underfoot.  As a result, the grouting cracked and crumbled.  In addition, the stone tiles had some etching from a vinegar-based cleaning product.  Sir Grout was able to hone and reseal the stone.  They used a great epoxy grout that was color matched to secure the tiles.  The new grout looks great and holds securely in place.  We are very pleased. Not only did Eddie and his team do excellent work and deliver on their promises, but they did so in a prompt and professional manner. They were responsive over the phone and email.  I couldn't recommend them more highly.  If you have a difficult grout or tile challenge, they can help solve it. <br />

The representative was on time and very thorough. Also very helpful in explaining what was and wasn't possible to clean. <br />

The work took longer than I thought it would, as I recall about 6 hours. But the results were excellent. Two bathrooms and the kitchen look much better and the water seal has been reestablished for all these surfaces. <br />

Unfortunately when they came out, they didn't have a steamer with them, so I wasn't over the top happy with them. They didn't do a lot of the things that they said they would do. This was the first time that I used them. They were always on time, and they were very nice, they just didn't do everything that they said they were going to do. I thought they were a little pricey, but I have never had it done before, so it may have been the correct pricing.

The gentleman showed up on time and immediately set about getting the job done. He was very personable and professional. I did not realize that his office was right in my neighborhood which made me feel good about helping a local business. He completed the job in less than an hour and I am vey happy with the results? <br />

Sir Grout and Eddie were absolutely fantastic, maybe the best service provider I have had in my home... Ever.  Here are the details.  I attempted to re-grout my shower myself.  After several attempts I just couldn't get it right.  I called Sir Grout to help me out and Eddie showed up in less than 48 hours at exactly the time we set.  Once there he looked at the job he said, "it's just not worth YOU spending the money I would have to charge". I explained my issues and he said he will do other tile work in the house to compensate for his minimum fee.  We decided it would be best if he cleaned all the grout in my house.  He set the grout and did the cleaning which made everything look brand new.  Sure enough the grout set in the bathroom had the same issues I had, it was not setting correctly.   <br /> <br /> Eddie came back in less than 24 hours to examine and we determined there was water in the shower pan (huge problem). Rather than him recommending a full tile rip out, (which would have costed tens of thousands of dollars) Eddie removed all the grout again and put in a space heater and fan to see if we could dry it out without removing tile, amazing honesty.  After 5 days he ended up drying out the pan! Eddie came back the day after I called him to let him know the news and he set grout once again.   Did I mention he never once asked for more money??? <br /> <br /> I would highly recommend Sir Grout to anyone that needs this kind of work done.   <br /> <br /> Thanks Eddie!!!
