What an excellent experience! I called Sissi Basement Waterproofing to come out to look at the terribly leaking basement of our recently purchased, more than 100 years old house. Lewis and his team came out that very same day. They walked around in the backyard looking at the gutters, the downspouts, the patio… Then they found why the water went into the basement and made a plan about how to redirect the water flow and waterproof the basement. Next day they provided us with an estimate. There was never any attempt to cause concern or up-sell throughout the whole project. They provided alternatives along with the pluses and minuses of each. They were great to work with. They came on time every day and stayed on budget with the estimate. They were true craftsmen taking pride in their work !! Lewis Team was a real problem solver. There were a lot of challenges to remodel an old basement like ours. They came up with many stable solutions to meet our needs for storage and children’s activity space. We are thrilled with the end result! That level of attention to detail is why I feel moved to share. Well earned 5-stars. Also, their price was very competitive. We highly recommend Sissi Basement Waterproofing to our neighbors and friends.

We hired Sissi company to first remove mold from our roof shaded by a big tree. Lewis did a great job and sprayed chlorine in the end to kill the mold that were hard to remove. We then hired him to paint our outside wooden wall. Lewis painted quite carefully and respected and accommodated our requests. After this work done, he did basement waterproofing project for us as well. It saved our basement from flooding during this winter. In the end, Lewis also fixed our water sink sewage pipe and several lights in the house. Lewis is also a very friendly guy and he charged reasonably. I strongly recommend him.

As stated before, Lewis is reliable, dependable, precise in his workmanship, very cost effective and clean. He left me with a pristine kitchen and dining room. Lewis was fantastic. He called me right away when I asked for a quote and came right out to examine my bathroom. While he was there, I asked him to take a look at our deck. He found some other things that could use some work, but was not pushy about it. Aside from beautiful work in our bathroom, Lewis and his crew painted our deck, stabilized it, fixed some water damage that we had and improved the flow of rain water off the deck, and repointed stone work that was water damaged on the level of our garage on our rowhome. I am keeping Sissi Construction's number handy for any future projects. I highly recommend this fantastic company. I could not have been happier with the work, communication, attention to detail and outcome.

In one word, I am loving my new bathroom. Pros: they knew their way around. The finish was very nice. Tiles were laid straight and flush. Plumbing and insulation were well designed and proved to hold well for the past 50 days or so. They would go extra steps to get things done right. They would advise on choice of materials. (But I'd suggest you stick to your own liking.) Explained different materials so you could make better decisions. Very glad he told me about the paint showing darker than looking from the sampler. The shade came out very pleasant. Cons: Went well over budget on materials. Had to shop more times than I expected. For 10 years experience you'd think they had some sort of list. I was left with about 10 receipts to go through for returns, not including the orders I placed online. Finished most part in 7 days starting from demolishing. Then painting took 6 days, one of which they did not do anything at all. That could've definitely been improved. Oh they didn't seem to like masking tapes.

SISSI CONSTRUCTION upgraded our bathroom, part of basement and garage a few years ago. They did the job according to our requirements, some of which were tricky and time consuming for small details. We are happy with the result. They came in early and worked long day to finish the jobs within estimated times. They charged below average. We are comfortable to use them again.

I chose Sissi since Sissi has been in the area for 8 years and its quote was very reasonable. They came to paint the whole interior house and exterior porch, later cleaned the whole house. They have done a good job as I expected.

This is the fourth time I've used Sissi Construction and I have been completely satisfied each time! The estimate, contract, customer service, and even the billing are considerate and very professional. I always get multiple quotes for any home improvement and Sissi Construction has bested competitors by upfront, itemized, and very thorough estimates. I unequivocally recommend this company.

My wife and I selected Sissi Construction to do a near complete overhaul of our old house and we are exceedingly happy about the work and time frame it was finished in! We started planning with Lewis & he was able to walk us through a detailed process in picking out new bathtub, bathroom appliance, hardwood floors, paints and details into how we wanted the whole renovation house to look. He was able to work with us and ensure we didn't exceed our budget limit and there were no "surprise" costs that you usually hear about other workers. We then worked with Tony as well to finalize what we wanted and he gave us some good recommendations. One of the best things about this company is they assume responsibility for all of the paper work with the co-op and management company and kept us in the loop. When the work got started they were able to knock down a wall to open up the bathroom and attic, get most of the demo work done in under a couple of weeks. End to End most of the work was complete in a 3 months period which was outstanding to us! Lewis the main contractor was awesome and explained everything in detail with us and gave us dates by which each could be done. Fantastic lead! They also were very attentive to the little details that we needed to have handled which was fantastic as we can be a stickler for the little things. We love the look of our new house now and will be using this company when we redo our rent room. Fantastic company that I highly recommend!

His work is meticulous and his price is reasonable. He even helped me to measure the entry door to make sure I bought the right size door. I am very happy with the results of his work. He is a nice guy. He also helped me to fix the lock of the back entrance door free of charge.
