S&K Concrete

Several weeks ago, S & K Concrete responded to a request through Angi to pour a driveway on my property. The owner gave me a rough estimate; however, I did not proceed with the project for several weeks. In early July, I contacted the same company with plans to proceed. The owner returned with the exact amount ($6,220.75) for the project. During the meeting, we agreed on a start date, which would have been July 11, 2024. He asked for 50 percent of the total ($3, 110.00). I wrote a check for $3,500.00. On July 11, he did not show up. He did call that night explaining that rain had prevented him from starting the work. I told him that my area did not experience rainy weather, plus he should have called to check the weather in my area. He informed me that he had deposited my check. He also promised to bring material to my home the next day and begin the paving work today, July 15. While he did bring a few boards to my residence on July 12, he did not show up today (July 15) to begin the paving work. Neither did he call me. This man is despicable. In fact, he made me feel very uncomfortable, following me inside my home and making inappropriate comments about how clean I keep my home. I am a widow living alone and am unnerved about this person knowing where I live.

Things went smoothly

They repaired one section and performed an addition to my driveway. Dale was very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. The prices were reasonable and affordable, I definitely will give him a call for any other concrete needs. He is highly recommended….
