Sky Home Improvements

We are very pleased with Sky Home Improvements/Ben Meffley's work and communication.  The work was done at a rental home so we really appreciate Ben's great communication and keeping us updated.  Ben sent before and after pictures.  There were a couple of things that Ben noticed on the roof that would become problems in the future.  He called explained the situation and sent pictures.  He was very straight forward and honest and sent pictures of the items he noticed.  It was nice to be able to see (from the pictures) what needed to be done for ourselves.  In the future if there is anymore work that needs to be done we would definitely call Sky Home Improvements. <br />

I found Sky Home Improvements through Angie's List, and gave them a call.  They returned my call the next day and were prompt in getting to my home to assess the problem and give me an estimate. Dan went up on the roof and took pictures that he showed me to help me understand what was causing the roof to leak and what needed to be done to fix it.  Along with the estimate, Dan gave me a folder which contained Job References, copy of his Contracting License, and a copy of Certificate of Liability Insurance. The following day Dan and Chuck were back and fixed the roof.  They arrived on time, and after they finished the repair, took time to explain again what was done.  Dan and Chuck were extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely call on their expertise for any roofing work that needs to be done in the future.

He was professional from start to finish. We had a few delays due to product needing to be ordered but he was on time when he said he would be at our house. Ben, the owner did a large portion of the work himself and that really pleased us that he was so involved. The railings in our home look beautiful and the front door is going to be the finishing touch. All work is top notch. <br /> He is on our short list of who to call if something needs repaired, replaced or spruced up. <br />

I decided to go to a store to pick out the flooring myself and Ben went out of his way to pick it up for me.  <br /> He did a fantastic  job installing the floor, and tried to be considerate in cleaning up any mess left behind. <br /> The floors look wonderful, and I couldn't be happier

Ben was very professional - walked us through all the details of the work that needed to be done, let us know in advance that all the plywood might need to be replaced, depending on its condition, and gave us two prices for the work. Work was done is a timely manner, and he dealt with all aspects of the job promptly and professionally. We were very pleased with Ben's work, and recommend him without reservation.

Sky Home does excellent work!  Most recently, we hired Sky Home to replace our front door, frame, and storm door, roof soffits,and replace and wrap the fascia board on the exterior of our townhome in Centreville, VA.  Ben went the extra mile wherever he could to ensure that the work was top notch, effective for purpose and pleasing to the eye, including even helping our neighbor out a bit, which showed tremendous character.  The house looks incredible. <br /> We started working with Ben and Sky Home last year. As new homeowners, the ownership part quickly became a harsh reality after we'd sprung a serious roof leak, which resulted in a terrible encounter with a bad roofer who did more damage than any good to our roof.  Long story short, the bad contractor wouldn't fix it.  We knew we were in need of a new roof anyways and in our search, we discovered Sky Home.  <br /> We were so grateful to have found them.  Ben and Sky Home were <strong>AWESOME</strong> from his estimate to the end product.  They worked as early or as late as required to get the job done right, on time and to our specifications.  He knocked it out of the park and if he says he's going to do something, he does it.  Ben and team are worth every single dollar and they go above and beyond.  For example, we also had him re-insulate our attic and for a little bit more cash, he managed to build for us some adequate storage space around the newly blown insulation using spare wood from the roof replacement, which was a huge help to us.  Dude is killer.  We couldn't recommend him any higher!!
