Very likable person when you meet him, makes you feel very comfortable, but don't let that sway you like it did me. Estimate was $18,940 Low Balls the estimate and blames you for choosing higher cost items. Like you are in the remodeling business and know how much everything cost, because if you had, you would have realized his estimate was not for real. Told me in two different emails(black and white) before the job started i would not have a kitchen for 2 weeks and the job would be done. And he starts the job that ended up being 3 weeks, but of course he said he told me it could be up to 3 weeks and of course he has a excuse for his employee's and other jobs he was working on at the same time as mine.

The project did go over by about a week, again, several things were added to the scope of work after the original commitment to the 2 weeks. While you did have a functioning kitchen within that time frame, details had to be finished over the following week. The jobs we contracted Skylar Alexander for went great. All of the jobs were finished on schedule, on budget and the communication with Nick and others was perfect. It's clear that Skylar Alexander is a cut above most and are the utmost of professionals.

Was absolutely great experience. I'm a DIYer, but I didn't have the time to build it my self. I couldn't have picked a better company. I was kept up to speed during the entire process. Any issues were quickly and adequately delt with. We spent Thanksgiving entertaining on the new porch. The grandbabies quickly approved of nana's new porch.

Awesome experience! Nick and his team were in and out; very professional installation and at a reasonable cost! He contacted me right away, gave us an estimate within one day, and scheduled the install as soon as the windows came in. I have to say that Skylar Alexander Contracting has been the best remodeling/repair experience ever. Nick Wolter was referred to me when my wife and I were picking out tile for our new backsplash. I called five different installers and luckily for us Nick was the only one to respond. He is very knowledgeable and able to walk you through the process. He didn’t try to up sale us but had the experience and background to help guide us along the way. The original task was the backsplash installation but when we asked about switching out some electrical outlets and plumbing in a new kitchen sink, it was no problem. One of the electrical outlets was giving us fits but Nick was quick to call in a Master Electrician who picked out the issue and got us running in no time. Nick and his crew, Alberto and Alex were extremely professional, knowledgeable, respectful of us and our home. Every task was completed correctly, quickly, and at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to have them back in my home or recommend them to others.

I was very happy with the finished product. They installed new flooring throughout, repaired drywall from water damage, painted throughout entire house, installed ceramic backsplash tile.
