Skyline installed a new motor in my 20 year old furnace to keep my home heated until a new furnace could be installed. Their customer service from my phone call intake to install was impeccable!

Very professional, responsive and courteous. Was not going to charge me a trip charge because it was a return trip on the same problem which they had not been able to completely fix before on an emergency Saturday call. Highly recommend them!

I put in my request by computer and very quickly there was a phone call from Tamara (this was at 9 a.m. Sunday July 4th weekend) which pleased me that someone was available. She said Marques could come to do the repair at 4 p.m. and would call first before he came. With the outside temp at 92 degrees and no air conditioning we were ecstatic being able to get someone to come immediately. Marques called ahead of the 4 p.m. time actually at 3:15 p.m. he arrived. He was very professional in actions and appearance with spotless clothes even in the heat. He immediately went to work to diagnose the problem and wore protective mask while inside where we could not practice 6 ft separation for Covid-19. I personally have a good deal of knowledge of Air Conditioners and heating having held a class A Boiler License so it was easy to see Marques technical abilities and quick assessment of the problem. He was very open in his conversation about his training background and technical abilities that his job required. I was most impressed to find he was the owner of the company and willing to work on the July 4th weekend to repair my air conditioner and other customers as well. The prices he charged were more than fair and no extra was charged just because it was on this holiday weekend. Once he replaced the damaged part, he filled the system to function at its best with Freon. He allowed time for the system to properly balance itself before calling it good. He then concluded by telling me of his warranty should the system shut down again that was provided at no cost to me for this full cooling season. I would recommend Skyline Heating and Air to everyone who want excellent work done at a reasonable price by a company that stands behind its work.

Marques and Skyline Heating and Air have gained a customer for life due to the exemplary service at our house. We moved into our house on May 8th and decided to have a CenterPoint home service plus plan for repair and replacement as we had it in our old place with no issues. They sent out a tech because our A/C was not functioning properly. The tech spent about 10 minutes looking at the unit and told us "There's a freon leak. It's cheaper to replace than repair. I'm marking it condemned." He did not elaborate whatsoever on where the leak was or prove that he even found a leak. He also then informed us that our plan wasn't active for replacement because it was in the first 30 days. The next day Marques came out to look at our A/C unit. He spent a couple hours at our place looking at everything in the A/C unit from top to bottom. Turns out there were 2 or 3 valves that needed to be tightened/replaced and were causing the freon to leak out. He easily took care of this issue and filled the A/C with 4 pounds of freon (the limit for our unit). He also discovered that our capacitor was shot due to either CenterPoint or the previous tenants installing one that was too small to properly power the compressor. He replaced this for us as well. Our grand total for this amazing service call was $742, which could/should have been more but because Marques quoted only having to fill 3 pounds of freon that's all he charged us for, even though we required 4 pounds. I am not overstating it when I say I could not be happier with the work done by Marques. He saved us a ton of money ($742 vs. ~$3,500), guaranteed his work through the summer or we can put the cost of the repair to a new unit if it doesn't hold up, and will service the unit for 1 year free of charge if need be. He was one of the most patient and well informed technicians I've ever seen and put up with my barrage of questions all while performing his work in an extremely professional manner. It's getting more and more rare to find an honest and trustworthy company to perform manual labor like this and the amount of transparency from Marques was very refreshing. If you have any HVAC needs Skyline Heating and Air is without a doubt your best choice.
