I called to cancel it because, there was a lot of miscommunication. There was not enough understanding of what I needed and what they were doing. Then they tried to help me out, it turned out OK in the end and it got resolved. It took me a while to call them because, I had surgery. They were responsive and good. What I had done took longer, so I had to pay another $400. I would have done more research, or gotten more bids on it. They were pleasant, and responsible. For me, it would have been better if they had sent someone at first, before they did the job. I would have shown them what needed to be done, and they would have understood me better. They were punctual.

They were fast, professional and even picked up material for us! I had a newborn at the time and they offered to purchase and pick up materials at home depot. Really great work!! <br />

The two carpenters were very professional and real craftsmen.  The job was done quickly and great.  We couldn't be happier. <br />

<p>I purchased a Deal in February, but due to unforeseen delays was not able to use the deal until July.  Everyone I spoke with at SL Green was understanding of the delays in scheduling and very helpful.  I sent pictures of my projects via email and received timely responses. When the two man crew, Brian and Rich, arrived, they were on time and ready to work.  We first discussed the projects to make sure we were all on the same page and then they got to work.  The communication skills, work ethic, knowledge, and professionalism of Rich and Brian were amazing.  They both had a "can do" attitude and made sure all projects were completed to our satisfaction.  It was a pleasure having them work in our home and we would not hesitate to hire SL Green for any other projects.  Overall it was one of the best experiences in our months of remodeling. </p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />

<p>The consultation (my husband was there to meet with the estimator) went well and the estimate reflected what was discussed. It ended up being more expensive than our budget will allow at this time so we haven't yet scheduled the work but it is really helpful to know what to plan for/expect and can adjust from there if necessary. </p> <p>One minor point: Based on the graphic that is shown on the deal itself (which includes a blueprint) I had expected to receive some sort of visual representation of the remodeled bathroom with the estimate. It isn't really clear in the language that it was supposed to be provided so we didn't consider it to be a negative, but wanted to include it here in case others had the same expectation.</p> <br />

They got the extremely difficult marble cuts completed that I could not.  However, your ad states contract work including tile.  Owner (Shawn), stated that tile was not a part of this package.  They went ahead and performed the work anyways.  I was told by one of their PM's Zack via voicemail that "generally factor 20% material waste when cutting tile".  Over 40% was wasted and cuts were extremely chipped, as if pushing the tile through blade too fast.  I've cut enough marble tile to know.  Overall, for a company with a good rating on Angie's List, quality was not up to par, all else was at a C or above.  I would probably just try and finish the job myself next time and avoid SL Green. <br />

<p>I exchanged emails and pictures in advance of my appointment, and got some details about what to expect including the names of both workers. The workers arrived a bit early (so much better than late:-), I showed them what I needed, and one person started the work while I went to the hardware store with the other fellow to purchase the materials needed. </p> <p>There was one drywall project that I thought would require an expensive repair. Instead, they fixed it easily and I was thrilled. </p> <p>They fixed a crooked cabinet in my kitchen that had been driving me crazy.</p> <p> They replaced door trim and added baseboard trim to several rooms, including the kitchen. After they left I discovered that they'd actually moved the refrigerator and put trim on that portion of floor too! I didn't even think to request this and was so happy to see it. Clearly, they take their work seriously and wanted to do the best job possible, but this was above and beyond and I'm so happy!</p> <p>I'd purchased a block of hours at a discount from Angie's list, and they finished my tasks a few minutes early. So they offered to do a few other minor things instead of packing up immediately. Wonderful!<br /> <br /></p> <p>I am so very pleased with this company. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone. The work they did for me was simple, but given the level of quality and attention to detail, I'd trust them with something larger without hesitation.</p> <br />
