Steve cleaned and sealed our white tile and grout and it looks amazing. Also, he doesn't use the big, pulsating hoses that freak out my dogs. Have used him twice and would not use anyone else. Highly recommend him!

I recently hired Steve Polomik, owner of S&L Tile Restoration, to regrout my shower floor. Steve presented himself well and made a point of telling me that he had several trucks and crews working for him and what great work they did. He went into detail about the special tools that he had and his thorough method. Steve made quick work of this project, as it turned out, too quick. He told me to let the grout dry for 48 hours. We gave it an extra day and waited 72 hours. The first time we tried to use the shower, the new grout dissolved right before our eyes. I immediately contacted Steve using the email address, text number, and phone number that previously worked communicating with him. I left detailed messages. After about a week of trying to contact him, he texted me and said he was out of town, but he would contact me when he returned home. He never did. I made the mistake of paying Steve $350 cash for which he promised to email me a receipt. He never did that either. I've had a real tile contractor look at the grout job and was told that he did not remove enough of the old grout and only put a superficial layer of new grout on top and that is why it failed. I am a retired builder myself with over 30 years of experience in the trades. Take it from me, you do not want to do business with Steve. He is the kind of person that gives contractors a bad name.

Steve came on time and reviewed my project. Took a little longer than I had hoped for a quote. Mark was scheduled to do the job. He also came in on time and project was completed in a day. The grout on my shower floor was removed and new grout, different color, installed. Looks great!
