"[Member name removed], thank you for your review, this is the response from our Production Manager regarding your feedback: Mr V. neglected to mention a few things: 1. The only complaint we know of consisted of a message a day or two after completion and a photo showing a gap at the sides of the homeowner installed cover plates (over the switches). I personally went to his home within 48 hours and corrected the issue. No mention was made of anything else. We filled every nail hole and caulked every seam. 2. when we removed the old Patio door we uncovered a wire which was run up over and down alongside the frame of the door. This is illegal and unsafe. It's not legal and cannot be left by a licensed contractor once discovered. We discovered after trouble-shooting it was powering a GFI plug and disposal in the kitchen. Our work was part of a kitchen remodel scheduled to be completed in the next two or three weeks. I explained how easy it would be to cut open the wall hidden by the cabinets, as they were being removed shortly, and either find and repair the existing short, or tie into one of the many choices readily available in the immediate vicinity. Also, I pointed out that there was very few plugs available for a modern kitchen. Since they will be installing a new high end hood and appliances I explained they would likely need an electrician. He agreed, and I gave him the number of an electrician who is very capable and reasonably priced. Instead of a thank you for finding and removing a potentially life threatening hazard, he chose to malign our good name online. 3. Mr. V. Neglected to mention the many things we did which were not part of our contract. He asked us to move a light box approximately 10 ft away, which we did. He asked us to install the venting for the new hood into the ceiling, which we did. In order to match the hole cut into the living room with an opening right next to it, we had to modify the opening by lowering it 3" from the ceiling. Frame, drywall, tape, corner bead, float and texture. We didn't complain and as of this moment have not billed for the additional work. Our contract was for installation of two windows and a french door, and can lights including "patching of holes as needed. When we arrived at the job, the ceiling was gone. we hung a new one, again without complaint or additional charge. The texture was heavier than I have ever shot, so I called in a drywall Ace, with 30 years experience. He did the texture and matched it beautifully. The entire time we were there we received nothing but compliments. Had any displeasure been expressed we would have happily corrected it. I have held 6 different contractors license categories in over 30 years, including a General B1, and consider that job to be excellent. I guess it's true that one cannot please everyone."
