We specialize in home remodels, new construction, knob-and-tube rewires, smart home automation, generator installation, as well as general home electrical needs. I am so impressed with Smart Electric and Heating & Air. They were able to determine what heaters I needed for replacement by a picture and a phone call. No charge to determine the wall units needed. They came out to my house to install the replacements and came an hour before the scheduled time. They were in and out in matter of minutes and installed 3 units. These people were fantastic and I will use them again I need something done.

Super smooth experience from start to finish. The Generac installation team was efficient, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and made sure everything was up and running perfectly before they left. They walked me through how it works and answered all my questions. Smart Electric did a total rewire on my old house that had knob/tube. I was never without heat, refrigeration, hot water. Took only 3 days and very minimal repair needed. The entire experience from beginning to end was outstanding. Great team!! Thanks!

Wowzers! The crew that came to my place this morning in order to address an electrical issue continued the legacy of Smart Electric customer service, professionalism and expertise. Devin seemed to be the lead man and did a phenomenal job at identifying the problem and fixing it. He and the others demonstrated what other companies have lost sight of in the form of customer care. This is hands down the only electrical/hvac company you need in your phone. Easiest, most efficient owner and teams you will find in the Seattle area hands down. Been working with these guys for 7 years, each project we tackle is actually fun because they make it so easy!

After a blackout, the outlets in various parts of our house were not working despite having reset the breakers. After calling around a few electricians to get quotes, Joe was able to guide me through the process to fix the issue over the phone! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable folks - definitely a place I'll go to in the future if we need more work done. Lauren also booked our phone appointment with Joe with extreme efficiency. Can't go wrong with them.

Smart Electric was a real life saver for me! My electricity went out late last Tuesday. I called a large company in the area and was told the entire panel needed to be replaced and it would cost $7500 (before tax!). I called Smart Electric for a 2nd opinion and I am so glad I did! Joseph called me back right away and did some troubleshooting over the phone and asked me to send him some pictures. Right away he could see that the main breaker just needed to be replaced. He got it ordered and they had it the next day. Jason came out after hours on Thursday to swap it out so I would not be without power another night. Instead of paying $7500 for a new panel that I didn't need, they got my power restored for under $600! The office staff was wonderful, as well. Very honest and professional company and I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future if anything else comes up.

I have had the pleasure of working with Smart Electric for a couple years now. I am a Project Manager for a Custom Home Builder and this company has it dialed in! Joe is amazing to work with. He excels in putting together bids quickly, being very communicative, and is always very professional. They also have an all-star crew. Jason and Keith are some of the best electrical leads I have worked with. They always have a great attitude onsite. Also a shout out to the office staff Sammy & Molly are great to work with. They are always on top of scheduling inspections and communicating updates with me. Highly recommend Smart Electric!

The estimate was competitive. The team was on time and courteous. After pulling off drywall for them to place wire inside the wall, they placed the wire in conduit outside the wall. They indicated they would change it if I insisted, but might take additional time/cost. They did not come with all the parts and did not seem to completely understand the job from the estimate. Several times they indicated they would have to redo some of the work and/or had the wrong parts. They were not able to fully complete the job in the 2 days allocated because they were missing a part and then needed reminding to order the part over multiple weeks. Overall, could have been worse (again - they were on time, courteous, and completed the job) but was not to expectations.

From all of us here at Smart Electric, Heating and Air, we are sorry that we fell short on communication and having the correct parts. We found out the sub-panel we were installing had a waitlist of several months to get an interlock bracket so I had the team remove the panel and install a different one, which I’m sure seems off to someone who’s watching the work be performed. The lead time on the new interlock was also a few weeks and this was not conveyed to you in a timely manner nor was it installed as soon as it could have been. We’ve learned a lesson about getting interlocks for this particular brand and we have in place an alternate solution to prevent this from happening in the future, again we feel bad that this happened on your project. I lead off with all clients that I want to retain your business for all your future electrical and HVAC work and we’re not just saying that. We hope we’ve not lost the opportunity to assist you in future projects [Member Name Removed]."

This is not the first project that Smart Electric has handled for me. I needed them to run CAT5 cabling from one end of the house to the other. The technicians did the work that I asked them to do, they arrived on time and they did an excellent job, not leaving until the wiring was completed tested and everything was up and running. A very professional organization, which I would hire again.

Based on Angi, Yelp and Google reviews, we chose a couple of well-reviewed, Generac-certified companies to come out for estimates for installing a whole-house generator. Given the amount of house/property that we wanted to power (our house, septic, well, mother-in-law dwelling, etc.), both recommended the 26kW and both were about the same price for installation. But we liked Joseph's knowledge, honesty and responsiveness to our email/text questions afterward, so we went with Smart Electric. Lead electrician Keith and crew were prompt, friendly and professional throughout the installation on the day we had scheduled. A wiring issue required Keith to return for several Saturday visits, and we appreciated his communication and determination to make sure we were completely satisfied. We would definitely call Smart Eclectic again.

I had an appointment to get my ancient gas furnace tuned up and I have to say, the technician Kevin did an excellent job. I I could give him more than 5 stars I would. It started with how nice and polite he was. He put a mask on when I asked without giving me a hard time. This is very appreciated. Then he noticed something was not hooked up (the fan only function) and he fixed it. Then he noticed the holder for my filter wasn't seated right so he fixed that (which was no small amount of work), and then he cleaned two areas of the furnace I NEVER saw anyone else clean in the 15 years I have lived here. Then he cleaned everything up and made sure to explain everything well and made sure I was happy with everything. I cant even believe the excellent service. On top of that he was quick, efficient but did not make me feel rushed. This ancient furnace is working better than it has in years! Do not hesitate to go with Smart Electric - they are top notch - oh yeah - on top of all of this great service, the price was $100 less than other companies I had out to do the same job! The other companies charged more and did less. Smart Electric just got a customer for life. I highly recommend!!!

From the start, Joe and the team at Smart Electric were easy to work with, knowledgeable, responsive, and highly professional.
