It went perfectly and exceeded my expectations. Initially, I faced considerable trepidation while getting qoutes from contractors who would be taxed with removing old asphalts from a jointly shared driveway, and replacing it with a new large concrete entrance way. All the trepidation immediately was quelled after talking to and working with Paul and Ismael of Smart eye construction company. The newly completed concrete driveway, exceeded all my expectations. The project exemplified first rate craftsmanship and professionalism at every step. Furthermore, Paul and Ismael provided clear and ongoing communication each and every day. I asked plenty of questions, and when I voiced any concerns, I was provided with quick assurances and answers. In short, the entire crew took great pride in the work, which by the way was completed in a timely fashion and at a fair price. Parenthetically, when I first started looking for contractors on Angie's List, the smart eye contraction company has the greatest number of positive reviews, they've been in business for decades. They Did a great job with our Deck, custom jacuzzi and fire pit. They were very straight forward and honest the whole time. Will work with them again.

We connected with Paul at Smart Eye Construction to come out and bid on a drainage system and deck install at the front of our new purchase of an old home. WOW was I happy that we signed contract with them. Ishmael Sr. and Ishmael Jr. are generational craftsmen. Their price was competitive and within our budget. The execution of the project and the skill of the laborers was unmatched. We are SO happy with the end result and so grateful that we found this company to work with. They are honest, communicative, and worked with a few modifications we asked for through the week of work. Our porch wasn’t easy to work on as the old home doesn’t have any right angles. They even helped reinforce our garden wall and stucco it.. They designed a really wonderful deck that give our space so much curb appeal. (We are painting the custom railing ourselves). We are already excited to hire them for our next deck project!

Smart Eye Construction was the VERY BEST! From talking to Paul (my contact person) to set up my estimate, to being available for any questions or concerns I had. When Ishmael came to go under our house to check for damage and all of the workers they were polite and always on time. Our bathroom looks AMAZING! Ismael Jr. was the kindest and most hard working young man, which is rare in today’s world. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of working every single day. I would recommend “Smart Eye Construction” for any and ALL of your home projects! Our bathroom looks straight out of a magazine!

Ishmael and team cut and removed a large patio section of concrete for me. They were professional, friendly, showed up on time, and finished the work quickly. The price was very fair. Highly recommend.

Josh and Paul were so easy to work with. I had a very bad mold problem at my home in Los Angeles. They were quick to respond. The price was right they removed the mold and did the repairs. I would recommend them highly.

Great job by this company. I had a house fire in my Silverlake home. They came out a made quick work of the tear out and remodel. HIghly recommend. Also, they were the cheapest of the 3 bids my insurance company required. I was nervous about taking the least expensive bid, but my fears were not necessary because they did an excellent, quick repair.

Paul is absolutely amazing. He's so great at helping you work through challenges and figuring out how to get the best results. He's not only great at what he does, but he's also easy to work with and a great human being. You really feel like he cares about you as the client.

It went fine. It was right on scheduled and the price was good. They showed up on time and I would say it was a pretty successful project. The only issues that I would say is that the finish was a little bit lacking like for the drywall and painting but that's untestable since they are not specialist.

It was good. I had a bad experience in the past SPs (not Angi pro), but this time he was very nice and they respond to my calls. I was able to contact them. The job was finished on time. It was beautiful.
