At first, Shannon was very responsive and was quick to come out to give a quote. When work finally started, his three contractors would show up at 10 o’clock, leave at noon for an hour and a half lunch and finish working by 3:00-4:00 in the afternoon and some days not show at all with no notice. They left my house a disaster each day because they did not take measures to put up plastic or other preventative steps for dust when they gutted the bathroom. The debris was left in my yard for weeks. What was supposed to be a seven day job turned into over two months. The work was not complete with the punchlist, the grout on the bathroom floor and in the shower started cracking within a week of the job being finished. They were supposed to come back to finish the punch list, came back for a total of one hour and did nothing. It has now been 3 1/2 months and they have not come back to finish the bathroom punchlist or repair the grout nor has anyone responded to me. I asked if they warrantied any of the workmanship and I was told now so here I am with a $9,000 bathroom remodel and there is stuff I still need to finish on my own and hire someone else to replace the grout.

"Said “punch list” was created by the client and not part of the contract that was signed by them. Client arranged additional work to be done unbeknownst to the general contractor and not covered under the contract. Entire cabinets and entire glass block window was installed by the workers (instructed by the “punch list” that was made by the client after contract was already signed) under the assumption that it was on the contract when it wasn’t. I’m sorry for the disorderly construction area left by the workers, we do have a service for cleaning construction sites that can be added to the contract but was not for this particular job due to the clients request of not wanting the additional charge. Construction jobs can be quiet messy at times and construction workers aren’t usually the best at cleaning those things up. Also, the client insisted on purchasing all materials personally and jobs can only be done when the materials are on site and ready for work which will in turn extend the jobs time period."

The job took longer than expected, but Shannon kept after it to get the job completed. The deck came out very well, and the price was a great value.

Shannon was the most responsive of five contractors I contacted about our 500-square-foot deck. He showed up for measuring the next day, sent a quote within 48 hours and went over ordering of materials step-by-step. He also updated me frequently on shipment of materials and the timeline for work to be completed. (When Lowe's shipped the wrong fasteners and turnbuckles for the cable railing, Shannon caught the mistake right off by keeping close tabs on the inventory. ). He made two follow-up visits to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction. When we finish our basement next year, he'll be our choice.

This crew knew exactly what they were doing and the deck was finished in less than a week. That also included removing all of the old deck and starting the new one from scratch. We are extremely happy with their work. Hope to use them again for another project!

Shannon did an excellent job! He is very professional and doesn't cut corners. Always showed up on time and kept in good communication. I'm very happy with his work and would hire him again in a heartbeat.
