I have been planning to replace my HVAC system for a while. It was 19+ years old and I had spent close to $1000 over the past few years applying "bandaid" fixes to keep it operational. Smiley's HVAC had done work for both my brother and my Parents and they were both pleased. I had called Smiley's and 2 other HVAC companies to come give me replacement estimates about 18 months ago. They ranged in price from $6000 to $15000. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get the work done. While Smiley's was not the cheapest estimate, based on the reviews here and on Angies List, and my families experiences, I decided to go with Smiley's. I called on Tuesday 12/18/2018 and was Helped by a very cordial young lady on the phone. She told me Larry wasn't in the office but he would call me back as soon as he picked up his messages. Twenty minutes later Larry called and we set up an appointment for him to come back and give me a new estimate on a replacement system on Wed 12/19. This estimate was very slightly higher than the one from 18 months prior but I expected that. Larry showed up promptly and did a thorough evaluation of my existing system. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful in his explanations. Part of my HVAC system is in my attic and I asked about moving it down into the garage. Larry said that could be done but probably wasn't a good idea. I expressed concern over condensation leaks I've had in the past and he understood. He was very thourough and patient in explaining the mitigations he would put in place to prevent any future leaks and also explained why moving the components into the garage on a house sitting on a slab foundation would make any potential condensation drainage musch more difficult. It all made perfect sense. Larry got back to me with an estimate that afternoon and gave me a followup call to see if I had any questions. I didn't and asked when we could get started with the work. As this is the week before Christmas, I was expecting sometime next week. I was pleasantly surprised when he said they could do it the next day! He called to make sure all of the necessary materials were in stock and called me back to confirm and 8:30 AM arrival time for his crew. The Crew (TJ, Jeremy, Nick and Dave) showed up promptly and got to work as soon as I cleared them a path through my garage to the Attic access ladder. They worked through the day and by 4:30 PM I had a new HVAC system to include a new additional return air vent. I am extremely pleased with my entire Experience with Smiley's. If you are looking to have a professional team replace your HVAC system at a reasonable price, call Larry!

Wonderful service fast and very professional. The guys came out as a team and worked great together installing my ac/heat system. Can't beat the price or service. Really appreciate that they were dog friendly too and did not mind when my pups got out. Outstanding group of guys.

My original project was a leaky water system, and I will give Mike, the technician a thumbs up for it. He volunteered to checked on my furnace  to looked for any problem and found out that it had a leak and turned it off for 3 days. Since, I had a good experience with him with the replacement of my water heater , I went on with his price proposal for the repacement of my furnace, heating and cooling system.I was given a manual for " Trane 90 and 95 Gas Furnaces", and told me that it was the same equipment I was going to get, which will give me another $250.00 from my local gas company, due to its efficiency. After 3 days, MIke's crew arrived bringing a " Trane " system with 80% AFUE ( Annual Fuel Utilization Rating), which did not qualify for the rebate ( our local gas company requires at least 90% AFUE).I was told that I was given the 90 and 95 furnace manual because they ran out of the " Trane 80 XC" manual.My family was out of heating for 3 days and did not feel like waiting for another 3 days of feeling cold again, so I went ahead with the contract. The crew finished the project successfully, except that they left my house forgetting to turn on my water heater on and setting my thermostat in " cold " setting. Also, before they left, I was given an advised to tossed my old washable filter and they will give me some the next day. That promised did not happen the next day, and never returned my calls. I called the office and promised me to deliver one that same day, which they did, but they came with the wrong size of filter, and so I have to wait again the next day.  This has been an overall bad experience. and I am worried about their reliability in fulfilling their labor warranty. <br />

It was great. They were a pleasure to work with. The crew that installed the unit was very professional and friendly. The job was completed in one day. Their price was the best out of three estimates.

I scheduled the service visit on Friday 6/19 for the morning of Monday 6/22. The tech arrived at 11AM and was finished by noon. <br /> Good, quick service. <br />

Removed old external A/C unit, furnace in garage. Flushed Freon lines. Fabricated new furnace base, installed new furnace. Tested. <br /> Installed external gas line for outdoor grill. <br />

When we were looking for someone to install a new furnace and a/c unit that were the same brand name and newer than our 20 year old mix matched system, we looked at three different places. Smileys was one of them. The other two were big name companies who sent over their comfort specialist out to see me with the fancy binders and all talk. Mr Smiley himself came out to see me and he was the only one who noticed the return on the second story was on the floor and not helping the house in any way. Plus the other two companies could not match the price I was maxed at for anything. He provided me a Tran system and a promise it would be done in a week from our conversation because that was when I could get off work to be home with everyone. He send 3 workers to the house and they were on time and as nice as they could be. They never stopped working from 8:00AM until they were done at 4:30PM. They disposed of the old items and did a great job installing the systems. I could never be happier with it and we have noticed a huge difference since the upgrade! I would highly recommend Smiley's over any big company name. He is not about billboards, commercials, or signs in your yard.. he is about getting the job done and in hope that someone will brag about it. <br />

Replacement went fine until I discovered he used a "bait and switch" I paid for a 4Ton unit and was given a 3 Ton of a different manufacturer. He gave me a lot of trouble when attempting to get the additional money spent. Do not deal with this co. They will rip you off.

I was very pleased. The crew was very polite, easy to get along with, and they were reasonably priced. I had one minor problem but they came right back out on a Sunday and fixed it. I recommend them to others.

We are a military family and a few months ago, we were looking for a dependable and affordable heating and cooling company to put in an upgraded A/C and heating system in our home. A neighbor told us about Smiley's and how great they were so we gave them a call and had them replace our furnace and A/C unit. We are so glad we found them and all of our experiences with them have been 100% positive. The level of professionalism and job quality was more than we could have asked for and the customer service has been excellent as well. All businesses should be ran like Smiley's! <br /> Recently, my husband was out of town and due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed Smiley's to come back to help me with some repairs. They went above and beyond to ensure we got exactly what was necessary and give us complete customer satisfaction. From the service desk to the crew of technicians who did the work, we cannot thank them enough. <br /> We are Smiley's heating and cooling customers for life! Did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Very neat during their work. Friendly and professional.

They showed up promptly and conducted all required services. Additionally, recent roof installation had caused severe dust/debris in attic around air handler and ducts. The cleaned off all surfaces and retaped entire system (no additional cost from original quote for cleaning). Also provided great recommendations for future upkeep.

Air handler had a clog and some built up water leaking. Clog was cleared and all water cleaned up very nicely.

The tech arrived on time and was very professional. He checked the unit and found what from past experience I expected. I would recommed this company. <br />
