This company left us with a floor that was poorly installed due to lack of leveling of subfloor and not placing boards in a random pattern. The result was a floor that moved when walked on and squeaked in certain areas. They said they would turn it into their insurance company and after months of back and forth they shut the door and would not talk to us any further. We had a independent inspector verify that they floor was incorrectly installed. After numerous attempts to resolve the problem with them, we ended up removing the flooring and replacing at our own expense. They have no integrity and I would never recommend them to anyone.

"The owner was told that to completely level the floor there would be extensive costs - they did not want the additional expense to do so. They did pay for us to rent a grinder to do the best we could with that option. The spongy spots on the floor could be fixed and we offered to do so at our own expense and were declined. Ultimately the owner was dissatisfied with the floor that they picked out. They lived in the house the entire time it was installed and at the end of the project stated "I wish you hadn't used the dark pieces". We completely renovated the home and they were satisfied with all of our work until we would not replace the floors for free which was not necessary."

Smith Remodeling did an excellent job for us on an extensive (down to the studs) renovation of our 2BR/2BA condo in Longboat Key. Lisa, Mark and their exceptional team of craftsmen were outstanding to work with throughout. They were dependable, consistent and took great pride in all aspects of their work. We would hire them again without reservation and recommend them to any/all who are seeking first-rate remodeling services.

Smith Remodeling was wonderful to work with! Lisa Smith was my main point of contact. She went over everything with me in detail, and promptly emailed me a quote for the work. They were able to start right away. Her two guys, Scott and Kent, were friendly and worked hard to get our room done. We had a one day delay because I didn't like the paint colour I'd chosen - it looked different on the wall - and Lisa worked around the schedule change easily. The ceiling looks amazing, there was no dust residue or anything to clean up, and the rest of the room that they painted looks great, too. Smith Remodeling was fast, efficient, friendly, and professional, and I highly recommend them.

Popcorn Acoustic Ceiling Texture Application, Repair or Removal
Great experience! Their whole team was professional, courteous, showed up on time and worked hard all day. Did a really great job and took the extra time during every phase of the project to make everything perfect. We initially hired them to scrape the popcorn ceiling in our 1600 sq ft home and ended up having them install new flooring and base board molding throughout. They also ended taking down a wall, installing new vanities in both bathrooms and painting our living room with a vaulted ceiling. We were there every day painting the rest of the house and watched Mark, Lisa, Dan, Andrew, Steve and Zane work. They were all great. When I first saw their 5 star ratings on HomeAdvisor I was a little skeptical but I am now a believer as well. We would hire them again and plan to do so. They were also very patient with us as we made adjustments through the project, Great husband and wife led company!

Smith Remodeling made what seemed to me to be a difficult and challenging project 'a walk in the park.' Workmanship first class. Project finished earlier than quoted with furniture back in place and some residual dust. Politel considerate company. Highly recommend.

Popcorn is messy, and it's a little bit of a blind project, as you don't know what's under the popcorn until it's gone. The crew did a very good job, on time, and within budget. I added a couple "little" things to this project; all were completed professionally and timely. The crew - as well as Mark and Lisa, the owners, were professional, thorough, and conscientious. I would highly recommend - AND plan on hiring again.

I found this company through this website and asked them for an estimate. Lisa was so helpful, professional and kind and came out in a very timely manner. I hired them to do a huge very messy job on our new home before we moved in and I couldn't be happier with the work that they did. Their team, including her husband Mark were all delightful, really nice people to be around, and very respectful. They do high quality work, they finished ahead of schedule and made something very stressful a lot less stressful for us as they were so considerate. We highly recommend this company and would use them again!

Lisa Smith helped us plan our vision for our new office and recessed shelving within our great room. Her husband Mark and workers Shawn, Zane and Brian did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves every day and were a pleasure to have in our home and worked well together. They were here on time and cleaned up everyday there work was exceptional . they remove old panelling and replace with drywall painted the rooms look fantastic . we would definately hire them again. The also communicated with us on the time and dates .

Smith Remodeling gave me more for my money than any of the 4 companies that quoted my project. It was a very big project, and I was pleased that the crew showed up until the work was complete. A few minor issues needed to be resolved and Lisa Smith made sure everything was wrapped up to my satisfaction. If they say there are going to be there, you can count on them showing up ON TIME!

Great contractor..Lisa Smith was on time, did a great job. She was very neat and gave some advice as to painting and colors. We have additional work that needs to be done shortly, and I will definitely contract the work with Smith Remodeling Services. being in massachusetts and owning a condo in florida, i knew i wanted the popcorn ceilings removed prior to our return. i "stumbled" upon smith remodeling - what luck! they were quick with quotes. came in under price of others, not by much, but it was the excellence in communications that impressed us. lisa smith, calls, estimates and delivers!!!!!!!!! they taped, protect, clean and left our condo with perfect ceilings. i would recommend their services to anyone. thank you for a job well done.
