After all the pros on Angie’s that did not respond or ones that quoted ridiculous prices. Shante knew her stuff and extremely professional. We would highly recommend Shante and Blair for your painting needs.

Smooth Move and cleaning did a excellent job on mounting my tv and installing 2 ceiling fans. Blair and Shantel are a excellent pair. They work well together, did everything in a timely manner. And kept me posted on the job at hand. This is my third time using them. I have other projects in the works with them. Definitely give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

We hired this business originally to hang a couple of TVs and fell in love! They have been helping us update our home one ceiling fan and light fixture at a time. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough in the work they do. Could not be happier!!

Painting was great. Very well done. They quoted a week, then two weeks. I made the mistake of trusting them and paid for the interior and exterior. They suggested I replace light fixtures and ceiling fans since they had to be removed and put back up anyway to paint the ceilings. They told me putting up new lights would be free, but ceiling fans would cost. Of course they sent me another invoice including all light installation. That is my biggest regret. They are painters and not a handyman services. I had to pay smoother contractor to fix all of the ceiling fans, which he did not know how to write to the light switches, saying they could not be. Then had to have the lights inspected and fixed since first they just delayed turning on, then a couple of them sparked and would not turn back on. Worst of all, they took every light fixture out of my home, upstairs and down for over a month, leaving my entire family completely displaced for several weeks. I spent over $5k on hotels and food for myself and my children. They saw nothing wrong with this. Job took two months, not two weeks. They said they work 8am until 8pm until the job was done. Most days they did not show up at all, on the couple days a week that they did they only stayed a couple of hours. They worked on other projects instead of finishing mine. Two months to paint a house, change light fixtures and doorknobs! They left old doorknobs and hinges, light fixtures that they didn't throw away or sell, paint, paint supplies, etc., all over my home. That is not how they told me they would leave the place. They could have at least left it as they found it. They felt no responsibility for repairing any damage they caused to my brand new floors or door. They also left screws all over the floor that we kept stepping on. I even lost my housekeeper because they took so long. They are dishonest and I would never hire them for anything again. They couldn't even take pictures of anything they did in the interior because it looked so bad. They felt that leaving scaffolding blocking my front door was okay as well. They were in way over their heads and held up several other projects I had planned including roofing and landscaping.

"This was two separate projects (scheduled at different times which took a month) one for lighting (interior/exterior which one light was free) and one for painting interior and exterior! From the beginning we expressed planned engagements on top of that this homeowner was never home and worked out of state so the job took longer (which is in the contract it says depending on add ons by homeowner job may be extended ) most issues occurred due to lack of communication! Anyone who knows about lighting knows it can take a while when your doing a whole house ( a few lights a day can be done) especially if the lights are from different places and have some issues along the way! These are pictures of how dirty the house was kept not the work that we have done (it’s clear as day in the pics)! We never had a cleaning contract"

These people were hired in March to paint the interior of my home. When they asked me about my kitchen, I told them that I wanted a backsplash installed. They ASSURED me that they could do the job and paint my kitchen. The paint job that they did was good, but they had absolutely No Clue about installing a backsplash! I asked them multiple times Before they started if they could do it, and they Guaranteed that they could install the backsplash. Every step of the way I asked them to tell me what they needed as I purchased ALL of the materials, and each time they either gave me the wrong information, or they waited until the last minute to tell me what materials were needed. I eventually had to fire them from the project on 4/11/22 because they approved the final trimming that I had purchased, and then they waited a week before telling me that it was not the correct material After they had approved it, and also, they broke an electrical socket after they placed the backsplash before replacing the electrical socket faceplate. So now the project is unfinished, and my electrical socket is broken, and I now have to hire an electrician to fix it. These people took an entire month and could not finish the project. I purchased the wet saw that they needed to cut the tiles, I purchased the tiles, and these people didn't even have the tools that were needed. I would Never recommend them. They make promises that they can't keep, and they are not truthful about what they can and cannot do. In the end I had to fire them, and Shante hung the phone up on me, which shows how unprofessional these people are.

"Of course in life there’s gonna be a customer you can’t please especially if they want to nickel and dime the place they live! We told her this is the first time we were doing a backslash so why would we have the supplies? She didn’t mention we did not charge labor which means she was willing to take a chance! On top of that she showed the end of her project without the trim so she purposely showed an incomplete project. I hung up the phone because I was told if you have nothing good to say don’t say it at all anything else would have really been unprofessional! She never mentioned the house is 40 yrs old the socket was already broken when we removed it to do the backsplash we were gonna replace it for free had she not exploded and now she has to call an electrician! She may be mad Home Depot changed the date of her carpet install! If your gonna tell a story tell the whole thing on top of that my work speaks for itself which is totally of quality! Trust me every great company has 1 bad review out of 100! You can’t please everyone. The job was complete i was the one who suggested the trim which triggered the issue of this review. The price was actually just the price of the saw which was 300$ why would that piece of backsplash be 2015$? Think about it! If a customer didn’t trust me can someone please tell me why would you pay 2015$ for a project? Who does that? The picture is not even the full backsplash. Of course the trim isn’t on there and right beneath the cabinet I didn’t get to fill it in! Overall I know I did a great ? job regardless of this so called bad review!"

EXCELLENT. Smooth Move understood my wants and concerns and addressed any obstacles that may have hindered the outcome. They were timely, neat and extremely courteous. I especially was impressed with communications since we left the project site entirely in their hands. I couldn't be more pleased with this finished job: interior paint, trim, baseboards & replaced outlet covers. I'm no artist, but this job is magazine photo ready; I'll be bragging on their work to everyone.

Shante and Blair from the Smooth Move Cleaning company worked on my house in Durbin Crossing Townhomes between Jan 5 and 9 at St Johns, FL. I must admit they did an amazing job. Unfortunately my tenants who vacated left the place in a deplorable state. Not only did Shante and Blair fumigated the house but they also deep cleaned, painted and ended up making it almost anew. They did all of this without complaining. I'm amazed how they pulled of all of the above in a span of 3 days. Not surprisingly they worked long and hard sometimes even 13 hours straight. I'm deeply grateful for their services and I will recommend them any day all day. I wish them the very best and big thank you for their wonderful job again.

Shaunte is very detailed oriented and goes above and beyond what you ask for. I appreciated that she took time to address and point out areas that needed greater attention as she moved through the job. Although the job brought about some challenges with other vendors moving in and out of the site. She maintained a cool, calm and focused demeanor; and managed to still deliver a professional finish. I would definitely hire her again, as well as recommend her to others.

Fantastic and friendly service. The TV was mounted correctly and perfectly, which is not easy to do on a 86 inch TV set. The installer provided additional supplies free of charge as well. Highly recommended!

Amazing! Shante was phenomenal! She was quick and meticulous with her work! I was beyond impressed with her edging ability and how neat hear lines were around the ceiling, baseboards, light switches, etc! The paint looks great- even and well done! She had great communication with me throughout the entire project and I’m very happy with the work she did.
