Although they came quickly and seemed nice, they said the spring was worn out and needed replacement, for $500.  We did not get the spring replaced with them, as we decided to look around for a better deal. We went with another company who, when they came out, said it didn't need a replacement at all.  They just adjusted the spring, for $225.  And it has worked great since then. <br />

The spring of the garage got broken and I called this company to come and fix it. Oren was able to give me a good price for the work and he was able to come the same day for the repair.  <br /> It took Oren like an hour to remove the old and broken spring and to install the new one. Oren was honest by telling me not to use the most expensive part because all of them includes the same warranty. <br />

Oren came over to fix my garage. I called Oren to check and see if he can come over to check the garage. Oen was nice and professional to me over the phone. Oren mentioned to me that he will be passing by to fix the garage within 3 hours. Oren came on that time and he was able to fix the garage for a fair price. I'm happy with the service I got and I will contact him for future needs. <br />

Our garage door didn't open and we called Socal Garage Door to see if they can pass by and fix it. Oren was able to come over and to check the problem. He came over at the time frame that he gave us and he noticed the problem right away. He worked on the garage for like an hour and he was able to fix the garage. At the same time he also gave us a FREE tune up for the garage and he didn't charge us.  <br /> Thank you Oren for the nice service that you gave us! Fast and priced well. <br />

Very fast and good company to hire! <br /> After my garage didn't work, I called Socal Garage door and I spoke to Oren. Oren was very nice to me and asked me to text him few pictures in order to see if he can detect the problem via the pictures. After I texted him the pictures, He called me and said that he see the problem and he asked me when will it be a good time to pass by and fix it. Oren sent his worker that came on the time frame that he said and he brought the parts that he needed for the work. He worked for like an hour and he fixed my garage. The price was very fair as well and they charged it via the phone. Definitely recommended company to work with. <br />

The garage didn't close and I couldn't leave the house with the garage open. I called several companies and I got a hold with SoCal Garage Door. I explained the problem and Oren (the person that answered my call) told me that he will send someone to fix it ASAP. After an hour, Oren called me and informed me that he sent someone to fix my garage and he should be there within 30 minutes. Jose came over and checked the garage. He told me that there was a problem with the sensors and that he will fix it immediately. I was very happy with the fast service and with the price that I got from them. I will hire them again! <p>After the  call, Installer came within 2-3 hours on the weekend evening;</p> <p>installer replaced 2 springs- one broken; replaced broken carriage and replaced gouged side pulleys; repair seemed pricey even for a weeknight repair, but we needed to get out of the garage. installer was somewhat arrogant, but finished within 2 hours.</p> <p>Approx 2 weeks later, cables wrapped and door stuck part way up; door then came down (fell) with manual release and carriage broke (again). The (new) springs did not appear broken.</p> <p>SoCal responded promptly that night; same (arrogant) installer arrived; replaced cables, carriage, and (for some reason) replaced one of the new springs -the repair/replacement was done at no cost.</p> <p>Door has been OK so far (6 months), but I really don't trust it. </p> <p>I intend to have Conejo Genie come out and do a 6 month inspect/check. (They are/were not available on weekends)</p> <p><br /></p> <br />

Door spring was broken due to broom got stuck when door closed. Called and SoCal came out within a few hours and did repair. I was definitely impressed that service guy came out within a few hours and did repair. <br />

They were great. We had called several other gate companies on Angie's list and my husband explicitly explained what the problem was and they all quoted $150-$250 dollars. This company charged us $95 and came the same day we called. <br />

My repairman, Sean, was friendly, but he was two hours late. Once he got there, he asked me to remove one car from the 2 car garage. I would suggest if you hire this company that you move both of your cars. The garage door work was fine, however, if you paid through paypal, make sure you have proof of your purchase, because I was charged the service charge twice. You might want to compare prices before committing to this company because the price seamed a bit high at $640.

My liftmaster sliding gate motor died after only three years due to electrical issues.  I was very upset to have to replace it and received several completely inflated quotes.  I found Oren on Angie's List and Yelp and discovered that all of his amazing reviews are completely accurate. You can TRUST this guy! Oren was an excellent communicator who provided a very reasonable wrote, excellent service, and exemplary communication through out the process. I just wish he did all kids if contacting, I would hire him or anything and everything due to his superior work ethic. <br />

Oren came to our house earlier than the prescribed <br /> time which we appreciated.  He knew exactly why <br /> we couldn't close our automatic garage door and <br /> how to go about fixing it!  He did not try to sell us on <br /> a new door or overpriced solutions to our problem. <br /> He took his time making an accurate diagnosis and <br /> gave us an exact estimate of the costs of repair.  We <br /> approved the contract and Oren began the repairs <br /> in an efficient and expert manner.  To access the <br /> spring, he had to help us move many boxes and  <br /> items from the garage interior.  After about one hour, <br /> the repairs were completed, parts replaced and all <br /> was right with our world.  Would definitely recommend <br /> this company again.  My only complaint is that the <br /> company says it offers a 10% senior discount which <br /> we did not receive because ours was a repair not <br /> a new purchase.  This distinction should be made <br /> on the Angie's List Ad! <br />

we met with Oren from Socal Garage Doors & gates after we spoke with him over the phone. <br /> Oren is a great guy that been in the business for more than 10 years and he knew everything we needed to know about gates. <br /> When he came to the house, he start measuring the area where the new gate should be. he than gave us some options about the design of the new gate and the type of motor and electronics of it. <br /> we had a good feeling with him and we went a head with the work and hire him. the day after, his workers came over to the house and start with the work. based on what we saw and the way it came out, we can tell that they were professional workers and we are happy with the work they did. <br /> the things that made us hire them was: <br /> - They were on time for each appointment. <br /> - The workers came to work each day and really worked! <br /> - The gate came out good and the way we wanted <br /> - the service so far is good too. we have someone to talk to when we need. <br />

We hired Socal Garage Door to install new Custom Sliding Gate at our house. <br /> the new gate is a 1HP motor with Loop sensor and foot pedal. <br /> after our research for a company that can install this type of gate, we decided to hire this company because after our phone conversation with Oren and the initial meeting that we had with him, we thought that it will be a good decision to have him do this work. <br /> we were also happy with the price that he gave us and the small extra things that he was able to add for us at no charge. <br /> we highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a reliable company that can do the job in the best side and at a reasonable price. <br />

We spoke to Oren and Explained to him in general what we would like to have installed in our house. <br /> Oren was very nice to us and patient. he asked us several questions over the phone in order to have more understanding about it. <br /> than, he asked to meet with us at the house and see the property. Oren came to our house on the time we set and he looked at the property and provided us with some helpful information and advises about what will be the best for us. <br /> after we saw the price and compared it to other ones, we decided to hire him and to install the new gate. <br /> the gate that we installed was a 1HP All-O-Matic gate. that included some safety measures and automatic exit loop system. <br /> the work took 3 days from start to finish and we are happy with the work we did and many thanks to oren and his company. <br />

We called this company and we spoke to Oren. Oren was very nice and professional to us. we asked him to come over to our house and to see what we are interesting in doing. <br /> oren came on the day and time that we scheduled and seat with us in order to hear what we looking for and wants to do. <br /> after we saw some samples and agreed about the price (which was fair enough), we gave him the authorization to start and do the work. <br /> the whole work took close to 4 days which during those days, oren and his workers came over and prepared the area for the gate. <br /> the gate arrived to our house and the installation ended with in the following day. in addition to the gate that was installed, Oren's team installed a dead lock for security purposes. <br /> we will use this company in the future and we are happy that we used him and his company. <br />

We hired Socal Garage and door services to install a gate system at our house. <br /> the work included the following: <br /> 1. They Installed new cement pillars with smooth stucco <br /> 2. Installed new electrical threw out and lights on top, <br /> 3. Installed new 1 HP electric opener that included a 24 ft sliding metal gate, <br /> 4. Had a cement slab for teh gate opener and pedestrian gate with built in DKS intercom system , <br /> <br /> This whole work included also to run all the electrical wires for the system underground. The work came out good and we even brought someone to check it after and during it was done. We wanted to be on the safe side and we happy that all came out good.

the garage opener didnt work and we could'nt use the garage. <br /> we searched for a company that can fix it and fast. <br /> we came across this company and we told them over the phone what is going on. they could tell me over the phone what is the problem and how much will it cost us to fix. <br /> we agreed about it and we told them to come over and fix it. <br /> with in 2 hours a technician came over. it took him 1 additional hour to fix it and the garage is working again. <br /> we also received 2 new openers. <br /> it was fast and good service. we kept their number in case we will need them in the future. <br /> thank you. <br />

we called several companies that could install for us a new garage door system at our house and we came across this company. <br /> their price was below all the other ones that we spoke to (3 in total) so we decided to hire them for the job. <br /> the garage doors that we wanted to have were glass doors. <br /> 4 days after we placed the order and signed the agreement, Jackob, sent 2 workers to our house for the installation. <br /> the work was completed the same day (although they finished it late), and the day after they came again to do some adjustments and it was done. <br /> me and my wife are very happy with the results of the project and we love the new new garage system. <br /> we also want to mention that originally we thought that it will take at least a week before they will be able to get all the materials. <br /> we do recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good work and great price! <br />

our garage door didn't open :(... and we couldn't open the garage with the remote or switch. <br /> we called some companies in order to find someone that can come over as soon as possible and fix or at least check the garage door. <br /> when we called Socal Garage Doors, we spoke to their dispatch and she was very nice and polite woman. <br /> she understood the problem and she said she will send someone as soon as she can (with in 1-2 hours) and he will fix it. <br /> with in 45 minutes, their technician was at our place. <br /> Jose (the technician, immediately spotted the problem and told us that one of the springs is broken and this is the reason for the problem. his price was reasonable and good, so we asked him to fix it. what we also liked, was that he had the replacement part in his truck! so there was no additional delay by going and coming back with the parts. <br /> it took him less than 1 hour and the garage was fixed and working! <br /> there was nothing hidden that they tried to sell us or anything like this. <br /> we will use this company again in the future. <br />

My experience with SoCal Garage Door and Gate Services was excellent! My garage door wasn't working and I couldn't figure out the issue. I called this company and they arrived at my house within 30 minutes. They were able to figure out the problem just by looking my garage door. I had 2 broken springs which were causing my garage to not open. They fixed the springs right then and there and were well prepared. With the fast service and excellent customer service, I will definitely be contacting them again with future garage door issues. They were friendly and knew exactly what they were doing!! <br />
