Very happy. Great company. Great people. They actually care. Be careful out there. Lots of BAD solar companies. Skip the hassle. Go with these guys and save the headache. Solar truly works but you need actual professionals, not salespeople who over promise.

This solar company is a gem. Hard to find good Solar companies. And they are local, not some national company. They also prioritize Angi’s members as I know their reputation means a lot. They really reflected that in the rooftops panels and pool Solar I had them complete for my home Fort Myers

I’m two months in to having my rooftop panels installed. I had a very old pool solar system and Solar First replaced that first, then I opted to do rooftop solar. My utilities went down 90 percent months 1 and 2. Amazing

Very happy with Solar First. We went with a 10kw system which came out to 25 panels for one of my homes in St. Pete. I opted for the battery storage system as well. Since the install (which took 1 day), I look at power outages completely differently. The last power outage was a breeze. I could use my AC and two refrigerators full of food didn’t spoil like it did during Hurricane Ian (before I had solar). I also didn’t have to leave my home. I even housed a few neighbors who needed a cool place to sleep, recharge their devices, call their family members, etc. I think three of my neighbors are also going with Solar First since that experience. I certainly recommended them around the neighborhood.

honestly didn't know much about the details of rooftop solar until Dave explained the ins and outs for us. Especially for an older home, it was super helpful to hear what needed to happen. I couldn't be more pleased (and impressed) with the service and quality I received from Solar First. First and foremost, they built our solar system based on our goals, not theirs. Other quotes I got were much higher and never matched my requests. My goal was to be prepared for the next hurricane and any power outages here in Cape Coral, FL. Solar First is local to SWFL so they really connected with what we wanted. I didn’t realize my water well was powered by electricity when I first moved to this area. Life without water would be unlivable if the grid went down (which is happening more and more here). After looking at all possible solutions, solar panels + backup energy storage made the most sense. During the last hurricane, our power went down for multiple days, but our water supply was not disrupted. Beyond our water supply staying on, Solar First helped me think strategically about what other critical appliances (and rooms within our home) needed power during outages. Our fridge, air conditioning, water, and garage door (among many other things) stayed on for the duration of the power outage. It all worked beautifully and as promised and I have tremendous peace-of-mind moving forward. I highly recommend Solar First to anyone in Southwest Florida. From their punctual and courteous nature, to their ability to answer every question I had (SO many) with expertise and patience, they exceeded my expectations and made my switch to solar a seamless and pleasant experience. Everything about the process was informative and transparent and they offered the best deal I could find in the area so, using Solar First was a no brainer for me.

They came highly highly HIGHLY recommended. We just got our panels up and you can't even see them. We financed our panels but the $$ savings on our electric bill FAR surpasses our monthly tab for the solars so we're in the green right out the gate. We also opted for battery storage in addition to 25 solar panels on the Southern-facing roof of our home. The battery is designed to power only the parts of the home I need as a Mother and caregiver, so I feel really really good about that. Since we got so much benefit from the panels and storage we decided to address our pool getting cold in the off-season. It took only 1/2 day to install pool solar and we didn't need to go through permitting (which Solar First basically did for us the first time around). Now I just need a Tesla! jk jk
