The project started on December 19th and took over a month to complete. They had to fire the person who started the job. This project shouldn’t have taken 2 weeks if a proper crew had been used. In the end I just paid them to leave as after over 1 month of a mess and not being able to fully use my bathroom or kitchen I had enough. I paid them more than the original estimate, much of it due to waste such as paint cans being left open and the needing to buy wall tile twice because the first job was screwed up so bad it had to be redone from scratch. I had installed new flooring (by a different company that was on time and did a fantastic job) but this company got oil based paint all over my new flooring as well as on my living room floor, outside siding and other places. They attempted to clean up the mess but wasn’t able to fully remove all the paint. The kitchen cabinets look as if a child painted them. Instead of taking off the door and spraying painting properly the painted the cabinets door and hinges and even got paint on the new pulls I bought. They damaged the door to the new oven because the guy who got fired had taken the oven door off to install the oven, this wasn’t necessary. A cover to the oven bottom wasn’t installed by the crew that came to finish the work because the instructions and parts weren’t anywhere to be found. I finally found the parts and instructions cleaning up the mess they made. The cleanup crew struggled to put in the new dishwasher as again a key part for the wiring wasn’t available because it too was misplaced by the first guy whom was fired. The second crew got grout all over my new kitchen sink which I still need to spend another hour to clean if I can get it all off. I need to repaint part of the kitchen wall as a whole strip of paint wasn’t done, visible in the day, but not at night when they finished, and I need to repainted the bathroom and kitchen ceilings. Work I paid for I need to redo to make it right. Do not hire this company.

"We accept full responsibility for the unprofessional behavior of our crew member and apologize for the delays. Please note, some of the delays were due to multiple homeowner requested extras to the master bathroom, kitchen, breakfast area and laundry room. The crew member who left the project was replaced by a full crew who completed all contracted work plus extras within 5 days. Everything met your full satisfaction during walkthrough (and the crew appreciated the pizza lunch you provided). Additionally, substantial financial concessions were made to your final billing for the inconvenience. According to Angie's List, the estimated return on investment for a kitchen remodel is 85 percent; a bathroom remodel should yield an 80 percent return. We wish you the very best on the sale of your home."

No words can't describe how great-full my husband and I are for Kathy and her crew. We had just bought our new home and we discovered a few issues all in regards to water, either from the pipe leaks or heavy thunderstorms that have caused damage to our home in the first two weeks of living here. My husband and I immediately try to look for help on Angie's List and we came upon this company. Reading the reviews from others has given us hope we would be in good hands. And we were right! Working with Kathy and her crew have made the whole process easy and gave us, the homeowners, a peace of mind that the work was being done right. Kathy and her crew explained the process of the work thoroughly, which we made us feel confident that they work was being done right. So far, everything that this company has fixed, has worked! One of Kathy's crew members, Micheal, was very professional and he did excellent work on our home! They are very prompt in responding, respect our time and mindful of costs. My husband and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Solutions for Independent Living, LLC for your handyman needs!

One of the only companies who did this minor job at a reasonable price. The mount was a little loose but my boyfriend tightened it up and all seems well.
Response from Solutions for Independent Living, LLC
"We enjoyed meeting your boyfriend and showing him how to find wall studs and install curtain rods with anchors. He seemed pleased with our work and gave us glowing comments on the Customer Satisfaction Survey: "The customer service was great. Easy install and they even offered to look at the other curtain rod to make sure it was sturdy. Even learned a little too! Thanks for the prompt and friendly service" It is unfortunate you were not present to provide your feedback during the walk-through. Should you consider us for your next project, please coordinate timing so that we can meet your expectations, too."
