On 8/29 Mark Briggs of Solutions Plumbing quoted a price of $6,000 to remodel shower stall, replace glass enclosure and glass door, install ceramic tile, install new shower head with pull-down body spray, install two safety bars, replace ceramic tiling, deep clean soaking tub jets and air tubes, new caulking and grouting around tub area. I paid $3,000 deposit by Zelle on 8/29. Mark said the work would be completed in 5 - 7 days. Demolition was done on Tues, 9/5. The worker shattered the glass door when removing it. He did not have anything to cover my floors so broken glass pieces were everywhere. He didn't have a broom or mop so he borrowed mine. He said he couldn't take away the demolished shower because he was in his car and not the company truck so he left the trash on the side of my house. That evening I called Mark to ask him what time to expect someone the next day and I asked him to please send a truck to take away the trash. His response was defensive and combative on the phone. Mark stated that the tile work would begin the next day and someone would call me before they arrived. I waited all day on Wednesday, 9/6 but no one came. I called Mark and he told me that the tile had not been ordered so the contractor had to drive to a warehouse in Macon to get it. He told me work would start the next day, 9/7. On Thursday, 9/7, I called to see what time to expect someone but no answer. Mark came at 2:00 pm and dropped off the tile but no work was started. The next day, Friday, I called to see what time to expect someone but no answer. At 4:00pm, the contractor, Juan came to start installing the tile. He worked until 8:00pm and told me he would be back to finish. The tile work was completed on Sunday, 9/10. The next day, 9/11, I called Mark and he told me someone would come by to measure for the glass door and enclosure but no one came. The contactor came by 9/12 and did the measuring. He told me to wait to hear from Mark. Mark called me on 9/14 to let me know that the glass door was ordered and work will start the next week on Wednesday, 9/20. Mark called on Wednesday morning, 9/20 and he said that the glass door was ready and someone would come by to start the installation. I waited all day but no one came. I called several times but no answer. that night, at 7:00 p.m. my husband called Mark from his cell phone and Mark answered. He told him that he would find out what happened and would call back. Mark never called back. The next day, Thursday, 9/21, I called and no one answered. I texted at 4:00 pm and received a response from Stephen. He said that he would ask Mark call to me from his personal cell phone but Mark never called. I followed up with an email asking for a status update no later than Friday, 9/22. I sent another text on 9/22. Someone responded to say that Mark would call me but he did not call. So, on Saturday, 9/23 I sent an mail to terminate our agreement. I was consistently being told untruths. I feel like the company did not value me as a customer and treated me unkindly. Some of the workers were negligent and irresponsible in my home. I feel that my interactions with Mark were confrontational and very stressful. I felt there was no since of urgency to complete the project. I explained to Mark that I had recently undergone surgery and I needed the use of my shower because it was easier to access than stepping over a tub. That information did not spur any faster response. I felt like I was begging them to finish my shower. Enough is enough.

On 8/8 at 1:33, I received a reply from Solutions Plumbing and Drains in response to my request from Angi for a contractor. On August 8 the following was their response: This is Solutions Plumbing and Drain Contractors reaching out about your quote request for Kitchen and Bath Remodeling. #1888-3576588 [*** Link removed ***] in order to start on the kitchen renovation, they requested a payment of 4,000.00 on August 8. This was emailed to them on August 8th. On August 9, the invoice with details of renovations they were to performed were emailed. This email showed the total price was 18,500 with amount of 12,00 paid and balance due 6,000. on August 10, they notified me that 4000.00 wire went through. A dumpster was sent to my address on August 10. An additional 2,000 payment for kitchen cabinets was requested and sent on August 10. On August 28, I withdrew 6000.00 requested by Solutions for materials for bathroom renovations. To date, I have paid out of pocket 12,000 for very little work that has been completed. I have called and have had no response. I asked my son to call today. The phone was answered and he was put on hold. No one returned to the phone. He called back and received no answer. My sister has called and have not been able to reach them. The same thing happened with my daughter.

Leslie was very nice and knowledgeable. He came into my residence and identified the problem. He asked if I wanted to continue with repairs and I proceeded. He was very thorough and made sure that the leak was completely fixed. I would definitely recommend him for future services.

All went well. My technician, Leslie, was professional, polite, and timely as well as thorough in making the repairs.
