"The customer purchased two man hours worth of cleaning for $40. As a two person crew, this would be one hours of cleaning. I never insisted it would take two hours. How can I make that statement without even being in the residence-not knowing the condition of the house? The customer was told that if it took us longer than the two man hours, there is an additional charge per hour. It took a little over four hours and she did not pay any additional. That works out to 4 man hours for $40! The initial appointment was for 1:00 but the customer stated that she had a dentist appointment at 3:30 which only left us a two hour window. Since the customer stated that the house could not be completed in two hours we rescheduled for after the dentist appointment-to appease her, not for our benefit. Once the customer got back from the appointment, she continually called and texted me. At one point I was working finishing up in another home and in a zone in which my cell did not pick up the calls and then when I was driving-I will not answer any calls or texts while driving. I presented my cleaning supplies before cleaning and the customer stated that they were okay. By the end of the cleaning they looked significantly dirty because of the work that was done. There was a small bleach spot on the rug which could not have been from us. The rug was removed from the bathroom BEFORE bleaching. On top of that the bleach dispenser is a spray, this appeared to be more of a drip. Since the rug was pulled before bleaching and the dispenser did not match with the type of mark, this could not have been from us. I don't think that Pine Sol and Lysol leave a dingy smell-have you ever had anyone complain about a dingy smell with those top line products? Since it appeared from the very beginning that this customer wanted the world for nothing I took before and after pictures to show what we had to deal with and the quality of work we produced. I am sorry that this customer was not pleased with the quality of work we produced but as I stated I have the evidence to show what we did and it matches with the quality of work that so many of my customers are ecstatic about."

"On our initial visit to the home we gave the owners TWICE the coupon, 8+ woman hours for the $80 because the home desperately needed significant attention to bring it up to our standards and the home still was not done. She did not offer to pay for the additional hours and we gave them the time as a comp. Our second visit had to be canceled due to the effects of hurricane Sandy. On our third visit, I sent my crew to the home in advance of my arrival to get it started since the house needed additional attention. My lead crew member informed the owners that I would be coming but the owner sent the crew home. I called the owner to reschedule with what dates and times I had available. I needed time slots that would afford me the flexibility to spend extra time in the house. The customer doesn't seem to realize that they are not the only customers I have, so if they don't call in advance to book time, the slots they would want us there for may not be available. This was not a good situation from the beginning. The customer got extra time for nothing, wanted us to come back at a rate even cheaper than the significantly discounted coupon rate they received initially, and insulted us by trying to instruct us as to how to do our jobs. On top of that, the husband made a racially demeaning comment of "Look honey, this one speaks English!" I do not have any of these issues this customer is trying to purvey here with any of my other customers."
