It was good, no complaints. They were clean and neat, handled difficulties well, followed up service, and they did what they said they gonna do.

Outstanding Job.  Workers showed up on time each day, worked very clean, and even did a bit of carpentry to please the city inspector (without charge) even though it was not their responsibility.  Their final inspection to us was very detailed and complete.  The warrantee is even transferable to a new owner of the house.  Would definitely recommend their services. <br />

Went well, was told job would take three days but was complete in 2. Turned out beautiful! The crew showed up on time and got to work immediately. <br />

It went very well. They were good. I have no complaints. They told us what was available and had samples there. They did it in two days, they had to strip off 3 layers. They had a very good pricing. Not the cheapest, but a very good and reasonable bid. I've recommended them.

Sonrise did a fabulous job. They were very responsive to my calls and questions about the roof and solotube options. On the days of the job the workers were quick and efficient. The only negative was a misunderstanding about whether the roof rot repair was ready for inspection by the termite inspector as the house was being prepared for sale. But the company repaired all areas that the termite inspector pointed out, and it passed inspection. The work was even finished a day early. Great job. <br />

They were prompt, very clean and professional. My wife was amazed at how quite the whole project was as our kids were able to nap even when they were nailing the shingles on. Once they started, the whole project took 3 days.

We obtained 3 estimates and Sonrise had the best price of the 3. Tear off got off to a bumpy start as the crew showed up almost 2 hours late with no phone call. We had trouble contacting the field rep. It turned out he was down with the flu and the crew was finishing up a previous job. Once they did show up (and we eventually got a call back from the office), everything else went smoothly. Both the tear off crew and the installers were professional, cleaned up after themselves, and performed the work to our complete satisfaction. The finished product is what we wanted and at a price we are happy with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends, relatives, and other Angie's List members. <br />

Sonrise was on time, very professional, had great communication with me the whole time and completed the project quickly. They even cleaned up very well every night which was important since we have two small kids. Even after they were finished they answered our questions and even came out to address our concerns. We were very impressed and happy with our new roof. <br />

Work began promptly in the mornings at the time arranged. When I would get home after work, the place was clear and clean. <br /> Never did I have any reason to believe the house was not secure when I was not on the premises. <br /> Yes, I would recommend Sonrise to anyone without reservation. My only regret is that I hadn't gotten the work done months ago. <br /> If anyone were around to take photos in the middle of the night, the next time it rained after the roof was completed <br /> he would have seen a sight. That sight was me, on the roof, in my bathrobe, running water from a hose, around and <br /> down the drainage track of the problem skylight to see if it drained properly. Though it looked to me as if the drainage ran uphill <br /> for the last three feet and that it would therefore pool in the right angle corner, this must have been an optical illusion. The water flowed beautifully with no problem. As there was a full moon that night I could see clearly. I do hope that someone in the apartments behind my house wasn't looking out at the strange sight of the old lady in the bathrobe, with the hose, on the roof,under the full moon....... <br />

<p>I contracted with Sonrise who installed my new roof about a year and a half ago. I did a lot of research on 3 companies prior to selecting Sonrise. At the time, they had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and zero complaints. I had 2 pages of questions for Kevin when he first came to evaluate our house and provide us with a quote and he graciously answered all of them to my satisfaction. I asked about licensing, current workers comp and liability insurance. Sonrise took responsibility for getting the City of Fremont permits and inspections. I was very happy with the price, 1 week lead time and 2 days to complete the job. They also cleaned up really well afterwards. (The one suggestion I would give anyone having their roof done, is tarp your garage! My garage is storage/laundry/pantry so most things had to be cleaned. If you don't have anything in there, then they can run the blower to remove most of the dust.) My father is a retired carpenter who oversaw the job while I was at work and he was very impressed with the workmanship and honesty about what repairs needed to be made for dry rot and a new saddle around the chimney. They also helped me coordinate to re-install the dish properly on the new roof and minimize our time without TV. I have not had any leaks or problems since the installation. They worked very hard to earn an A+ rating in my opinion and I would highly recommend them! </p>

Very quick and very punctual. Signed contract on Friday, work took place on Tuesday. Relay team to remove heavy concrete tile. They had truck where bed lifted ~ 20ft or more to facilite olf roof removal. On first day, they removed all old tiles and add plywood and felt paper. They replaced any rotten wood. Had new composite tiles in bundles on roof. Second day was putting down shingles and gutters. Rotten/dry rot wood cost about $60/hour for a total cost of ~$400; mostly along edges of roof. I don't doublt it or question the charge. It seems fair. Obvious where they replaced the wood. NOTE, painting new wood is not included! Didn't occure to me to even ask, wasn't disclosed. Permit for the job was posted by the front door on first day. Unexpected permit items: spark arestor needed on chimeny top, smoke alarms in every bedroom. A city/permit requirement.

Pretty smooth, installed roof within a week, came back when we were finished with Stucco and finished down spouts and finished gutters. Roof was completed in a day and 1/2.
