Robert did an awesome job and installed my TV faster than I expected.  This job threw him a few curve balls but he worked around any problem that popped up and now my living room looks awesome. <br />

We recently bought a house that had an existing media room, audio closet, and speakers in rooms all over the house. I was clueless and found Rob on Angie's List. He came out and showed me how things operated, connected some things that were really cool additions. Great service. Very knowledgeable. <br />

Robert was delightful to work with and was able to adjust quickly to overcome problems that arose from the challenge of utilizing some existing equipment from a previous home. Especially difficult when I demanded no wires to show and everything to look, sound and perform perfectly. I would recommend Sound Advice to anyone considering a professional job at a competitive price. <br />

If you are looking for someone to install home theater--don't even bother looking anywhere else. Robert's prices were competitive, and he did an absolutely amazing job for us. He even worked overtime to make sure he was finished within the timeframe we agreed upon, and he made sure everything was working perfectly and took the time to walk us through everything. I cannot recommend him highly enough--super nice guy who is very skilled, knowledgable and works tirelessly to make sure you're happy. There's not much more you can ask for in a service provider. <br />

Robert recently did some A/V work inside my house and I was so impressed with the end result that I have had him back out three more times for other projects.  The most recent was the installation of speakers and a TV in my back deck area.  Robert is always on time, pleasant to deal with, is extremely knowledgeable, really good at any troubleshooting and leaves me with easy-to-use system that looks and sounds great.  For the back deck system, he hid the speakers in surrounding landscaping so you can hear the audio perfectly, but you don't see the speakers.  He mounted the TV neatly with no visible wires and it blends in nicely with the rest of the decorations/structure. I highly recommend Sound Advice and Robert Lyon for any home theater/A/V work. <br />

<p>Robert just installed a new wall mounted flat screen, a new home theatre and outdoor speakers.  Robert was prompt and detailed during his estimate. Since we needed a whole new electronics, I was not surprised by the quote.  Robert quoted $6000 for surround sound speakers recessed in the wall, a new 60" LED mounted to the wall, ability to stream iTunes, Movies In Theaters Now and Netflix EASILY from the supplied All-In-One iPad remote and the equipment hidden in a closet.</p> <p> </p> <p>We agreed on the price and the start date.  Robert arrived on time and completed the job quickly and to our full satisfaction.  I would definitely use Robert for any additional work and highly recommend him.  I was giving a party the following day and asked for some of his business cards to pass around to my friends.  </p> <br />

I had purchased various pieces of home theater equipment such as CD player, 3D BluRay player, receiver, etc.  I hired Robert to hook these all up for a new sound system/home theater system.  He had to disconnect all the old equipment and make sense of the existing wires and sort out the new system.  He did a great job including providing written instructions for navigation of the various components until I become familiar with them.  I was very please with his work ethic and he was easy to talk to when expressing my wishes concerning the setup.  I would hire him again. <br />

Robert is always responsive to my calls.  He keeps the music in our office playing smoothly!  He has worked with me to get 7 exam rooms and a lobby sounding great! <br />

Robert was great!  He was very responsive over the phone helping answer my questions and educating me on my options.  He came out to look at our space and walked through what he planned to do.  When the TV finally arrived (I bought it elsewhere) he was very punctual and neat/clean and did a beautiful job creating a home theater experience for us in our bedroom with all the wires and components hidden nicely on a shelf in the corner of the closet.  He is an electrician too so that saved us money and hassle as he was able to move our cable and add power to the closet.  Using a small  IR sensor on our TV our standard TWC remote works great (better than in the den when we hold it up 10 feet from the unobstructed cable box). <br /> He was professional, neat, and did a great job.  Worth the money. <br />

Robert responded to my request right away and when he came over to evaluate my needs, he was punctual and professional.  It is obvious that he's extremely knowledgeable and skilled at what he does, and provided me with an outstanding solution to my A/V system update. He quickly assessed my situation and gave me a quote that was very reasonable.  Once we agreed up on price, he completed the work promptly and within the quoted estimate.  He even spent a little extra time troubleshooting some of my older technology and made it work with the new set-up and didn't charge me for that time.  I was impressed with how neat he was and that he cleaned up completely.  I felt like I could trust him in my home.  He educated me on how to use the system with the iPad control and made sure I was comfortable with how to operate everything moving forward. He made it clear that if I ever needed anything or had any other questions I could contact him at any time for assistance.  I am very satisfied with Robert's work and would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends. <br />

It went great.  He showed up on time and was professional while working 3 to 4 hours.  Invoice matched the quote, even though it took him longer than he anticipated.  He didn't charge for the extra hour which was cool.  We will use him in the future for sure.  We have now started a Sound Advice To Do List for future visits.  I see having him come out once a year to update things and give us an idea of what's new.  Very pleased! <br />

Robert has been great to work with! Not only does he do excellent work, but he also trains you on the new equipment and trouble shoots if there are any follow-up issues post installation.  We will definitely turn to him again in the future. <br />

After listening to the problems we were having with our current music delivery system, Robert suggested a different system that would address all the problems of our medical practice.  We have 7 exam rooms, a lobby and 5 providers to try to please with music!  Not an easy task.  His suggestion of a squeeze box and the subscription to either Rhapsody or Spotify has worked well.  Employees are happy as are the providers!  His installation was seamless.  He worked in our front office and while we were seeing patients.  He was courteous, conscientious of our patients and doctors.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />After working with the new system for a few days, I needed a little more tutoring on the system and he came back by and worked with me so I was comfortable it. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I would definitely recommend Sound Advice to others. <br />

Robert did a really great job. He was professional, courteous, punctual, and very thorough. He was patient in explaining what he had to do, and was good about protecting the rug, floor and furniture.  He made several trips to Lowes and to purchase audio equipment. My husband was initially unhappy because the speakers outside were in locations that were obtrusive and likely to get damaged, and thought the installation of the first (outdoor) volume switch was sloppy.  These were partly my fault, because I wasn't paying close enough attention to what they were doing.  Robert returned and moved the speakers to the crawl space vents, and put the volume switch inside.  This satisfied everyone. Robert did all of the balancing, set up and tuning of the AV equipment. Some of that seems too complicated to me, but the hubby understands it. <br />

Went great from start to finish.  Being that this is our 2nd floor room used mainly by our kids, I didn't need a system that would rock the neighborhood.  Robert made some good suggestions on speakers which put out great sound without breaking the bank and we're very happy with the end result.  <br /> This is the 2nd time we've used Robert in our home and he's excellent.  He knows what he's doing and is efficient in getting the job done - couldn't ask for more. <br />

Robert was punctual and very responsive to phone calls.  While it was a little scary to see him cut into our walls and ceiling, he did a great job and cleaned up afterwards.  I would recommend him to others. <br />

Their price was probably reasonable.  Overall, they were excellent.  I would recommend them to anybody.  They were punctual and professional.  The gentleman who came to the house knew what he was doing and did it well.

I recently moved into a house that had a speaker system built in, but the previous owners took all of their own equipment with them when they left!  I was interested in setting up a new media room, with a wall mounted thin t.v.  I particularly did not want any of the electronics or cords to show.  I wanted to be able to integrate my new t.v. with my existing speakers, and to be able to play music throughout the house from my itunes account or the radio.  Robert met me at my house, assessed my existing equipment, and then e-mailed me a list of things he thought needed to be done, as well as an estimated price.  I agreed with his planned work.  He himself bought all of the equipment he suggested, and installed in within about a week.  He had to come back to finish the job, and to explain to me how to use my new system. <br /> As far as I'm concerned, everything went very well.  Robert is very easy to work with, and I appreciate that he took control of the entire project since I work a lot and would not have had time to hunt down the equipment he recommended.  The t.v. looks great - all my neighbors are thinking of getting the same thing done.  I LOVE having music throughout the house, that I can play from my iPhone.  The shelf he installed in my storage closet has just made everything more organized and easier to access than I expected.  I would definitely recommend Sound Advice.  Oh - and the actual price came in below the quoted estimate, too. <br /> <br />

It went very well. He responded within hours of initial inquiry, came to the house and made his assesment, took our input, emailed a quote which we revised a bit. We then located our furniture, had it delivered, and he came within 2 days and put it all together. Works really well! <br />

Robert showed up on time and went right to work once he understood the issues.  He was very knowledgable and made repairs very quickly.  He did a good job of explaining the technical nuances and ensured that I was comfortable working the equipment.  We will use Robert for all A&V work in the future. <br />

Very happy with the whole experience.  Robert knows his stuff and worked within the budget we provided him which made the whole experience that much easier.   There is still more work to be done down the road and we'll be calling Robert again for sure. <br />
