As usual Jim came through like a pro. Great communication, an easy going no pressure solution and very reasonable labor charges. I asked tons of questions and he gladly gave me all kinds of advice. For what it’s worth, this is the second time I have used this company and I could not be happier.

Jim's work was awesome, but we needed follow up work due to Comcast issues and I guess the requests were too small.  He never would get back to us. Very nice guy and knows his stuff - just wished we could have continued to use him.  I don't want to ding him, but just make sure when you hire him he commits to providing future service - especially if you are a Comcast customer! The C rating is right in the middle because that is how the business is  - price and quality are A, but follow up and customer service is F. <br />

Great job installing the projector and wiring. He had also done a great job installing a home theater sound system. He fell off the face of the planet. I had $2000 paid into the screen installation and he hasn't completed the work. I have a temporary screen up that he was good enough to provide, but I need that the one I paid for.

Jim is beyond skilled at what he does.  I am a longtime audiophile/videophile and I can tell you hands down Jim know is stuff.  He and his staff are professional.  They are always on time and the work is not only top notch and high quality but is very very reasonable.  I could not recommend him enough and he has done other theaters for my neighbors.  Don't look any further-he is the absolute best!! <br />

It went amazing and looks and sounds amazing.  Very professional.  Great character.  He finished at 3 pm and I didn't get home until 4:30 and he came back to show me how to use the system.  Great customer service. <br />

I called Sound Xcetera on Monday December 29th, 2014 and Jim answered. I explained the problem we were having with our sound system and I asked how much he thought it might cost to fix it and he asked if I had the ID information on the Logitech Harmony Remote I said "I did not have it" he responded the fee will depend on the time it will take me to trouble shoot, reprogram (If I need to) and synchronize the Logitech Harmony Remote, but it will be between $50.00 - $150.00 He said "He would have to call Logitech to get the ID information and then reprogram the remote and synchronize it to our system. We scheduled for Friday January 2nd, 2015. He arrived on time. When he arrived I had already called Logitech for the ID information and I was on the phone with them. I handed Jim the phone and he took over the conversation with them and got the information need and then he started to trouble shoot to see why the Logitech Harmony wasn't working. He found the problem rather quickly and synchronized the remote and sound system. We asked him how much we owed him and he said "Just $50.00" He was extremely fair, punctual, very nice and knowledgeable, but most importantly very honest. From the start he said "I believe it may be this issue and it was" he fixed it and even gave us a little time since we had a few questions about other things we may consider doing. He will be our sound system guy from now on and we will recommend him to our friends. Excellent overall service. <br />

Jim had a very busy schedule, but was able to fit me in between other jobs.  I really appreciated his accommodating my availability. <br /> Jim was able to get all of the components working with the new receiver.  Since all of the components were different brands and some were at least 20 years old, it wasn't an easy task.  He was very patient and took the time to figure out work arounds when they didn't work the first time.  He also programmed my cable remote to turn off all of the components at once instead of having to use all of the remotes.   <br /> While testing the phone to figure out why the first line wasn't accessible through the jack in the bedroom, he discovered that the first line had been disconnected from the wiring into that bedroom.  He fixed that issue quickly and I can now use the phone in that bedroom. <br /> Jim is very personable and professional and it was a pleasure dealing with him.  I would recommend him to any of my friends.  His price for the job was very reasonable considering he spent several hours getting both the sound system and phone up and running.  I actually thought the charge was going to be a lot more than what he actually charged.  It was a pleasant surprise for a change! <br />

Professional from start to finish. They listened to what we wanted and how we were going to use everything in the house and even outside on the patio and came up with a plan that was perfect for our needs.  I have used them since 2010 and continue to bounce ideas off them as time goes by and they always give me the best advice on how to accomplish what I want done and whether or not they can do it for me.  When one of our TV's, that was out of warranty, failed they helped me get beyond the normal customer service level to actually get Samsung to replace the entire screen at no cost since it was so soon after warranty expiration.  As with anything, you get what you pay for and price is not always the best way to choose someone to work on your property and inside your home.  I always trusted them and would recommend them to clients, friends and family of mine. <br />

It went well. Jim is very knowledgable and can answer and address any electronics issue.  Always felt that I wwas getting honest advice and not just a sales pitch to sell equipment I didn't need. He stayed late into the evening to make sure it was done right. <br />

Jim is terrific to work with.  He gave us an accurate and detailed quote up front.   He arrived when he promised to and completed the work right on time.     He was flexible when we had some construction issues and was very diligent about tidying up after he completed his work.  He literally vacuumed as he was cutting holes in the ceiling for speakers.       He was very honest about the pricing of equipment as well.   He also is very knowledgable about the equipment  and how all of the pieces work    And finally I should note that he painted our new subwolfer and changed the fabric cover after my designer requested it be white instead of black.  I would highly recommend him for any TV/Stereo installation project. <br />

GREAT!!! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. He came as scheduled and got right to work. The older(5+) systems I had were installed poorly, but he was able to figure out what items should stay and what items should go. We have two home theater systems that he reconnected. I believe he did this very quickly. As he was working he kept getting texts from someone who seemed demanding He just kept working as quickly as he could. He figured out how to reconfigure the older remotes which I was told by two other Home Theater companies were not programmable or obsolete and I needed to spend another $600.00 each for new ones. He received yet another text, and I could tell he was upset. So I ask if everything was OK because if he needed to leave please go ahead and we can reschedule. That is when he told me about the texts from the very demanding person. I planned on writing a great review and wanted to see what out people said .That is when I read the last review and couldn't believe what I was reading. I live in Weston and Jim was at my house that Friday night working very hard to get the systems working. The last reviewer was the person texting him. All I know is that I will recommend Jim to anyone who wants someone who knows what they are doing and doesn't want to charge an arm and leg for his services.  I had two other estimates one for $1800 (thats without the remotes) and one for $800(without remotes) HE IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL FLORIDA CONTRACTOR. He is scheduled to come back and install some finishing pieces some.  Once again I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. <br />

Jim is a great guy.  He arrived on time and took several hours to survey the equipment and give his recommendations.  There was a proprietary computer control system that he did not service, so he referred me to the appropriate parties who have the license for the product.  In spite of all the time he spent and all the expertise he provided, he refused to take any money.  Jim is an honest, knowledgable professional with a business ethic that is unmatched.  If you need technical assistance, he is the one to use.  I will be calling him again <br />

Jim was wonderful! I called him and was fortunate enough to get him while he was in our area AND available. He was prompt and went right to work on figuring out what our problem was. He had the knowledge necessary to pinpoint and resolve our issue. Jim wired up a couple of data jacks and connected to our Comcast router then set up new wireless equipment in 2 of our rooms. This will make signal available throughout the house now. After months of trying to get Comcast to do something, it took Jim a couple of hours. Great guy - we plan to have him assist in our audio setup next. Thanks Jim!!

Jim (owner) did a professional quality job in my installation. I needed to have two speakers installed on the back wall of my living room and being a townhome, did not have crawlspace on first floor ceiling. Jim took care to run the wires to look as inconspicuous as possible. <br /> He then proceeded to install my HDTV on my living room wall (running the cables behind it), he added an optical cable to run TV sound through my receiver and tested the speakers. <br /> He then cleaned up after himself. <br /> Overall, I'd say he did an excellent job and I'd hire him again. <br />

This guy knows his stuff. Really enjoyed getting to know what he liked technically and why.  Total Quality workmanship.  Very pleased! <br />

Jim Manley installed both brand new and our already-owned HD televisions in our new home. In addition, he provided outdoor speakers for our A/V system and installed them flush INTO the concrete ceiling of our patio. He installed our in-wall and in-ceiling speakers for the audio/video system he hooked up for us. <br /> The man works miracles. Whatever glitch he ran into, be it electronic or logistical, Jim found a solution. The end result was six televisions installed, connected, and one of them integrated into a brand new home theater system. <br /> We are simply blown away.
