Great job and accommodation

Fred did a really great job. The existing grout was starting to come out in spots, but after the work was done, the shower looked like new. Fred was courteous and professional, and I thought the job was a good value for the money. I would definitely use Southcoast Precision Tile again.

We had a fantastic experience working with Fred & KB. Fred is absolutely meticulous, while still being able to pivot for last minute obstacles. He was very dedicated to making sure our we got our plan A bathroom, and involved us in all of the important decision making while providing expert opinions and facts. He also dove in and learned new, cutting edge techniques and tools to get us an impressive final result. I think a lot of times customers are told "it's not possible" when really, it's just a matter of finding the right solution. With Fred, almost nothing is impossible, if there's a way, he'll find it. On top of his experience and attention to detail, Fred is just a lovely, kind person and a joy to be around. Behind the scenes, KB provided stellar support - communicating with us and Fred and helping to keep everything organized. My biggest tip with working with this team is to keep KB in the loop! Fred is in high demand and while he will drop everything for his customers, keeping KB informed on schedules, questions, invoices, etc. makes it even easier for everyone. Which reminds me of another pro to working with South Coast Precision. They were not only meticulous with the tile, but with paperwork and invoicing. I've dealt with contractors who were vague and a little shady, but at no point did we have to question what things cost or what we were getting vs what we were paying for. In my experience, this is rare!

A very thorough and professional job done, Fred was extremely patient, thoughtful and a problem solver. However, paying by the hour (not recommended) $2500.00 (4 day's work) for a 32 sq.ft. bathroom floor that included only labor, subfloor liner, motor and grout (tile excluded) is excessive. Therefore I cannot recommend SouthCoast Precision Tile.

I had old shower tiles falling apart in a rental unit and water leaking into the floor below. Fred was super responsive and made sure all the immediate repairs were met. He was able to rebuild a portion of the shower wall to adequately seal the leaks off, and tile on top, working diligently over the course of only a couple days. I will definitely hire him back to finish the rest of the bathroom area, as well as other projects. Thanks again!

Frederick exceeded expectations. He loves to use his mechanical genius to fix problems. He jumped in to help us correct a huge mistake done by a competitor in our master bath that had left our shower unusable. We are so grateful that he rolled up his sleeves to jump in and help us solve it. He is a joy.

SouthCoast Precision Tile was great - it was a small job but Frederick went above and beyond in repairing a single tile. He noticed that the previous installer did a sub-par job, and re-grouted the entire bathroom. He was punctual, professional, and extremely neat. I would definitely hire him again and only wish I had hired him in the first place. Thanks for the great work!

I have been using Fred Hilliard's many services for about 20 years now. He has always been very professional. He is very good at listening to what I want done on a job and checking with me to make sure that I am pleased with the progress. Fred is very detail oriented and I know that if he is doing a job for me I don't have spend time that I don't keeping an eye on him to make sure that he does it right. His work ethic and skill set is top shelf.

Frederick is a true perfectionist. Some things about the job got very tricky and beyond what we had originally thought was necessary, but he handled it like a professional. He took his time and was extremely fair. He kept a very neat and clean workspace and covered everything in his path. When he left the finished product was amazing. I would have Frederick in my home again for any other project. Clean, Respectful, and Professional!!!!

Fred was exceptional. He went above and beyond. I had a shower that was not originally pitched correctly. When he met with me he explained the issue and how he could correct the problem. He also explained what to look for when choosing a tile installer. He is a Certified Tile Installer with specialization in custom showers and complex tile installation. He completed my project in a timely manner was detail oriented and truly cared about my end product. I have since hired him to finish my basement as well as install my kitchen backsplash. I highly recommend Fred and his company.
