They charged me 600.00 to put on a new thermostat, which took technician approximately 10 minutes and probably cost the company 10 bucks. They would not give me any price for that over the phone, and now I can see why. Total RIPOFF. instead of Southern Air, they should call themselves Southern Thieves

Do not use this company, extremely overpriced charged 1500.00 to put 6 valve/fittings to reconnect a line in the attic ( fittings/valves cost 1.50 each) then servicemen had to go back to shop to get tool to install fittings. Spent most of the time trying up-sell more work, when finally got to the job they were hired to do they spent a total of 7 minutes and were finished. I was told a manager would call to discuss and I am still waiting. Unorganized, Inefficient and Overpriced.

It was a terrible job upon finish. It was damaged left to my property. Water elite from the attic into the room where my pool table is kept. The water filled my pool table and now the pool table is no good and Southern Air. It seems like refuses to fix the damage and to replace the pool table. No one even wants to address the issue. Like who cares how he feels about it what we did to him. I need help and I will search to find it. It?s very clear that Southern Air does not care about their customers.

Over priced, Horrible service! Charged $65 to replace 2 AA Batteries in the thermostat! All they wanted was to upsell their annual maintenance plan. I will NEVER use them again! See photo attached.

Do NOT use Surgi’s AC (Southern Air)!! They are crooks and totally wasted my time and I’m still waiting for them to refund my money. Eddie gave me a quote to move my condenser, $3763 but I could get a $513 “discount” for getting a membership with them ($239 for 2 AC PM’s a year) which came out to $3249. So I paid $239 to get membership and then they send a new quote and voila! No discount. They also charged me $89 for “service call” to come give me estimate to do work which they didn’t tell me about when I called. (My unit wasn’t broken, I just wanted it relocated in my yard.) Then no one will return my calls for two days!!! I finally got through to a manager (“we do honor our quotes, we just had a glitch in the system”) and I should be getting a refund after almost a week and half a dozen unanswered calls. Stay away!

Potentially since new ownership has taken over, Surgis is no longer a trustworthy company. They have showed a lack of integrity and professionalism that goes beyond what I have ever experienced with a company. 1. They installed our system and we have spent 15K+ with them over the years. We have always had Surgis upkeep our system and have trusted them to do a good job. 2. We noticed moisture in the attic and asked Surgis to look into it. They improperly diagnosed the issue and the result ended up creating mold around our vents. We payed 1600 in mold remediation and drywall repair. 3. They properly diagnosed the problem and admitted it was not addressed correctly and this should have been caught during the install process. When given the quote for the work, we asked for a price reduction since this was a quality control issue on their end. 4. A manager called us and stated this was a discounted price even though this was not noted on the paperwork. During these conversations, Scott hung up on us.we requested calls from upper management but never received a call back. We really just wanted the issue resolved and decided to proceed to schedule the work with Surgis. 5. When we received the breakdown of the work, we noticed the cost of the vent covers which we already had purchased prior to. We called asked if they could use ours to help reduce price. Instead, they canceled the work and said they would never work on our unit even though we currently have a warranty with them. After calling back to try and get the work scheduled, they stated they no longer had the technical staff to do the job. 6. After getting quotes from other companies, the prices we were getting were significantly less, showing that Surgis lied about a discount or they are just majorly price gouging all customers. We also asked other companies if they would be able to do the work quickly since Surgis made it seem so technical. All other companies told us anyone who installs a system or does duct work needs to know how to do the work we needed or customers would be dealing with the moisture that we found ourselves with. 7. I called Surgis back as a final attempt to get management to work with us and was told we have your information they wouldn’t take any additional information for me. My tone wasn’t heated and I asked the phone rep to please just take the notes and request a call from upper management and she hung up on me. If Surgis was truthful in their reason to cancel the work on our unit, they currently don’t have the staff that has the skills to properly install AC units. If you have Surgis install your unit and find errors, they will not work to resolve the issue and will likely charge you more than necessary for repairs. You would think some upper management would have intervened but that never happened. I get that other staff was probably sick of us calling to talk about our issue, but hanging up on customers is not how to deal with it. If upper management had called, we wouldn’t have needed to keep following up. I cannot warn people enough about this company. Stay away.

Art came out to give us an estimate.... he was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave a competitive bid (we had other bids). The installation was done by Mario and Chad...very professional and excellent quality. The unit they replaced was in a very difficult location and they were not phased at all by this. We were very impressed with Surgi's.

They stole $30,0000 worth of jewelry from my house. It was terrible, they were the worst I could have ever used. I told them what had happened and they sent a man to check the freon. No condolences, nothing. They haven't even called me back. They told me they fired the guy who did it.

"THis is a complete fabrication. The customer missed jewelry weeks after a service visit. As far as we know, the event was not reported to the police, nor have we been contacted by anyone since. We guess they found the jewelry."

"We appreciate this customer's excellent review. Our price for this repair is usually lower. In this case the condo was in the warehouse district with the condenser on a 5 story roof. We had to park a block away and make two trips to bring in the tools and materials to complete the job. The additional cost reflects the difficulty of the job."

LM with the answering service late Sunday night. Surgi's called promptly Monday morning and scheduled to come out 3-5 pm on Monday. Service technician called around 12:30 pm and said he will be there in 20 minutes. Branden diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes. Replaced the capacitor and the A/C was up and running again. Professional company, from the answering service, scheduling desk all the way to the service technician.
