Had roofing performed last summer.Got through the storm but had significant chimney leaking. Have not been able to contact this company by phone or email so had to hire another company. The new company found that they had NOT PUT FLASHING AROUND THE CHIMNEY. This was an A COMPANY ON ANGIES LIST last year. Angies list is the reason I contracted with them. I will file a BBB complaint as well.

I first gave Southern Grace an "A" grade, but since then I have developed a leak, and have tried contacting them by email, phone, and text probably 20 times, and they have not gotten back to me.  Obviously once they are paid, they want nothing further to do with you! <br />

Southern Grace Exteriors was VERY responsive!  Within literally 30 seconds of requesting an appointment for an estimate on Angie's List, I was contacted by Christian Adams to discuss what I wanted done.  He was extremely personable and very knowledgeable.  He was careful to call to confirm an appointment 15 minutes or so before arriving and was always prompt.  He kept very good communication and was accessible when I needed him.  He worked tirelessly to complete the job on time and we are extremely satisfied with not only the work that was done, but the quality of the product as well.  I would highly recommend Christian Adams and Southern Grace Exteriors for any home repair projects and will contract with him again for future needs. <br />

Contractor left a large paint sprayer in our garage for 4 months while the house was rented by vacationing guests. (the house is a vacation rental home.)  I had to point out to contractor that they painted over a fungus that was growing on house siding, instead of properly cleaning/removing this prior to painting.  They painted over the lights on the exterior of the house instead of removing prior to painting. Contract stated that soffit vents were to be installed on both sides of the house.  Contractor only installed soffit vents on one side of the house and did not inform me of this.  I paid contractor in full ($14,258.00) and found out later that the soffit vents were not installed on both sides of house.  December 7, 2015, I informed contractor I wanted him to install the missing soffit vents and needed the roof warranty paperwork.  Contractor told me he would send me the paperwork for the roof warranty. We still have not received the roof warranty. Jan 6, 2016 he responded to my request saying he would install the missing soffit vents, he still has not completed the work.  I have not heard from him since and have not received the roof warranty.  His phone has been disconected, voice mailboxes are full on other phone lines he has. We have texted, emailed and called he refuses to return any form of contact.  We have been forced to contact the roofing supplier ourselves in an attempt to obtain our rightfull warranty. We are not sure if they will be able to link the contractor to our roof. Plus our contract included a 10 year warranty on the workmanship and the company won't even respond to our requests to just finish the job they were paid for. I can only imagine trying to get them to stand by their workmanship warranty. <br />

This repair went well. I am very satisfied with  Southern Grace Exteriors. The worker was a consummate professional. This was a two-day repair. On the first day, he gave me a call prior to the appointed time to remind me that he was on his way. He showed not long before the appointed time, gathered details about my concern, and went right to work. After examining the problem area, he provided me with the details about what was causing the leak. He show me pictures of the damage up close and informed me what it was I was seeing. Any questions I had were answered in a polite and professional manner. He rescheduled for another day to make the repairs. Again, he showed slightly before the appointment time and took care of business. He was actually done making the repairs much more quickly than I anticipated. He took up close pictures of the finished product and shared them with me. Though he could have milked me for additional payment, he did not. I would highly recommend  Southern Grace Exteriors to anyone needing home roof work. <br />

Provider offered to begin the work a week earlier than the agreed-upon date, which we liked, because usually it is the other way around. We also liked that all unforseeable extras, like wood rot under the shingles or flashing, were discussed beforehand with very fair price tags attached to them. There were aways enough people on site to get the job done as quickly as possible. When a problem arose, the contractor dealt with it in a very accomodating way. The quality of the work and the materials used seemed very good to me, but I am no specialist. Bottom line: A contractor experience more pleasant than what we usually found on the island. <br />
