Marcus's work was outstanding. He was on time for every appointment, kept us informed of our schedule, and completed the work quickly. He left the work area cleaner than when he started and removed all the construction debris. When he completed the work ahead of schedule he reduced the final cost accordingly. Should I have need of any other work in his skill set, I will call him again.

He worked with himself except last summer. He was very respectful. He didn't overcharged me. He did a good work. He cleaned up his work. He didn't leave a mess.

Southern Home Repairs did a great job for us! We had a room in the garage that the previous owners had used for storage, and it smelled like a storage room. Southern Home Repairs removed all of the interior wall and ceiling paneling, evaluated and replaced any insulation that needed updating, and finished the walls with sheetrock and vertical batten trim which gave it a very "coastal" feel. They also demolished the fiberglass shower insert and pressboard cabinets in the bathroom and added a fully tiled shower, a new vanity, and a new toilet all with new hardware and fixtures. They removed the fluorescent light fixtures and installed a new ceiling fan and recessed lighting to finish the room off. Also, a significant majority of the work was self-performed by the Owner and a helper, so there were minimal concerns about scheduling subcontractors or the quality of subcontractor work. We will certainly reach out to Southern Home Repairs again if we have another remodeling or painting project to tackle!
