Having had two cedar rail fences that rotted (due to our climate) prematurely, we decided to go with treated pine with posts set in concrete and have folks who do that for a living, complete the work. My initial call was pleasant and they appeared ready to help. They promptly came out and provided a reasonable estimate and replied with a proposed work order identifying the material, specs and when it could be completed. All boards and posts were straight, with no warping - critical for aesthetics of such a 2 rail “farm fence”. All posts were set plumb (because I checked them) - another critical necessity in making this type fence aesthetically pleasing, especially on hilly terrain as ours. They were diligent in communication concerning scheduling, etc., did their work with zest and picked up after themselves, leaving the place tidy. They completed the work in good order for a reasonable price and did not try to adjust the original estimate. They are good at what they do. Call them!

Absolutely amazing service. Our fence was damaged when a tree branch fell on it. They were so fast to get back to me and when then found out I had a dog, they went above and beyond to make sure our fence was secured for the dog. Completely fair pricing. I will never go anywhere else for new fences or fence repairs!

They worked with my neighborhood’s HOA and the city’s permit department to make sure everything was in order before they built our fence, dealing with all the back and forth, the changes and additional insurance required, and they did a beautiful job on the fence :) From the quote through to the final product, they were fantastic to work with.

I had the pleasure of working with Southern Magnolia Fence, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations. My red cedar fence was installed in late November 2024, and the project was actually completed ahead of schedule with exceptional craftsmanship. Rick and Dennis were magnificent—professional, engaging, and prompt every step of the way. Fast forward to mid-August, when I noticed one of the cedar boards supporting my gate hinge had split. I wasn’t sure if it was from constant use or maybe a strong gust of wind, so I called Rick and Dennis to take a look. Within just a couple of days, they had a crew out to assess the issue. It turned out that the damage was actually caused by my lawn crew’s riding mower hitting the fence. Even though the break wasn’t Southern Magnolia’s responsibility, they didn’t hesitate—they went ahead and replaced the broken board. And not only that, while they were there, they noticed two other boards with minor damage and replaced those as well, at no cost. That kind of customer care speaks volumes.
