Southern Screen, Concrete & Pools

I had a total rebuild of a very large, challenging shaped screen room. I got several quotes, Southern Screen was significantly less expensive, very prompt work, professionally performed, I cannot say enough great things about this company. I usually only deal with people I know so I was a bit nervous but was more than pleasantly satisfied!

These guys are super in every way, and I couldn’t be any more enthusiastic in recommending them. After accepting their bid, they arrived the following morning and completed everything to a high level of perfection before the day had ended. Good people!

Southern Screen is a family owned business. Our family has been doing business with this company for years. We have had several pool enclosures and screen room additions done to our houses over the years. We have had great pricing as well as great service through this company. The arrive as promised and are very efficient and well mannered. They always pick up after themselves and leave no messes. I have never had to call them back to fix anything. Initially Southern Screen came to the house to see and measure out what I wanted to have done. Within a day or two was given written estimate with diagrams to review. Upon accepting the estimate they ordered the slider. It took a couple of weeks to arrive from manufacturer. Then we set up an installation appointment. They arrived on time and within half day the install was done. Very professional! It really is nice. At a later date I am having them return to build a small screen porch on the existing patio slab in the rear of house.

excellent, i waited 10 weeks just to get an estimate from another company who have been in the area for 3o years and had an established reputation. I put money down on their quote and was told it would be another 10 weeks. after 20 weeks and many excuses i got my money back and called Southern Screen. Tammie came out right away, gave me an estimate, explained the process, and won me over. Unlike the other company, she stayed in contact with me the entire time of permitting and as promised delivered a beautiful new screened enclosure. I received an estimate for both rescreening or a whole new enclosure. I decided to go with the whole new screen enclosure. As the estimate stated it took them 2 days one day to remove the old screen enclosure the second day to complete the new screen enclosure mainly due to weather. Both Josh and Mike were excellent answered all my questions.

They did an outstanding job. I have had them replace screens for me before so I didn't hesitate to call them again.

I have two Siberian cats that are happy climbers. Aluminum screen can’t support a 15 pound cat! Pet screening is more expensive product, but so worth it if you have pets that like to be outside. The Southern Screen crew arrived promptly on the scheduled day. I even received an email when they were heading my way. They worked very efficiently and cleaned up all the debris. Work was completed in less than a day and I have a large pool enclosure. I have used Southern Screens before for repairs, but the scope of this project was much larger. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

This company is excellent they are professional, trustworthy and knew exactly what they were doing. They were don in 2 And a half days. I wish more contractors were like them. Other contractors wanted half down but they would not be available for 6 months. southern screens does not ask for deposit. From the time they gave me estimate till finish was about 2 months. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends. Looking into using them for concrete work also

Mike, the installer, did a very nice job. He was polite, and worked quickly and professionally. The back porch looks great. It's only been finished a couple days, but looks to be well done.

This is a family owned company. The whole process was professionally handled from the initial quotes for the screen replacement and deck repair to the completion of the job. My deck had several long cracks which were filled and a new concrete surface was applied. Next, it was painted and even had contrasting color added to outline the pool. It looks beautiful with no signs of the prior cracks. The crew was on time and very professional. I certainly recommend this company.

Went very well. Tamela and all employees were very professional, upfront with their information, and timely. I did learn from reviewing three estimates that two questions must be clearly answered: 1. what brand of screen? (cheap brand or Phifer); 2. how is screen installed? (rolled or by panels). There are significant price differences, but homeowner preference should dictate which options are best for their needs. Also, if you have screen doors that are in bad shape, make sure you are clear on whether they are installing new doors & hardware or simply replacing hardware components, which of course is a homeowner preference. These comments reflect items specified in the Southern Screen quote! The installation crew was timely, professional, and worked continuously through the July summer heat & humidity only taking a deserved lunch break. They even took time to physically check the entire job top to bottom to ensure all details of the installation were completed properly. I also checked the credentials of Southern Screen with the State of Florida and all was good, which was a selection factor along with their local longevity in the business. Working with them was a pleasure.

Overall the employees that directly represent this company were great. They did what they said they would, they showed up when they said they would. They were very professional, They worked efficiently and clean. If for any reason there was a delay (caused by rain ) they communicated clearly and did not leave us wondering. The product used is quality product. Our one hiccup in the job was caused by a THIRD party working with the concrete. Yet the Concrete side of Southern Screen and Concrete fixed this situation beyond our expectations. With the quality work they gave us I would be eager to share their name with anyone. Lastly, i have to say the gentlemen that came to our home to do the work from start to finish were not-only skilled, they were nice! (thats important)
