Repair or Install Gas Piping

Total rip off charge me for 70 lineal feet of piping, which I they did not replace only the snake from the riser to my kitchen stove 13 LF at first he would not just a Bill buy 2000 off of called in a licensed gas guy and he got attached a vine to the stove was not ever attached rings by the house and propane over my house to Miller called in a licensed gas guy and he got attached a line ti to the stove was not ever attached the house and propane over my house to gas I said I do not think they really know about gas maybe good plumberrs!9 very sloppy work in a mess everywhere I would not recommend them to anybody for a gas line they did not even I had to call somebody to get advice and they speak to Ameri Gas and to supplier of the gas for Miles Brown tank and he told him what to do0

we did everything that you asked for. you are unreasonable you should be arrested for canceling payment after all work was done. i even paid out of my own pocket for your electrical to your water heater. i will never do work for again. contractors beware this guys a thief.

Install, Repair or Replace Plumbing or Fixtures

We had a severe leak in our bathroom causing some flooding in the apartment. They came right away and helped us tremendously in a very stressful time. We will always use them for any plumbing issue moving forward and would recommend them to anyone!

Install, Replace or Repair a Main Water Pipe

Eric did an outstanding job locating my leak by the car wash underground under the concrete. I had multiple plumbing companies come out and had no clue where it was located. It was very frustrating for months but after I got a hold on Eric of South Florida Plumbing Pros they were able to locate the leak the same day they did the repair which was amazing! Thank you so much Eric IÃ¢Â Â ll be using you guys again in the future for my repairs. I would highly recommend South Florida Plumbing Pros for any plumbing needed.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
