They were good for the first 3 years, then when Edgar took over the company it all went down hill. First the quality of what they did went down, I continually sent them emails with photos of what was not being done. At first that fixed things, then the quality really fell to the point where they stopped mowing and trimming, then they just stopped coming; however, they still sent he bills. They were hired to do my house and one I rent out, the renters called to complain to the management company that they were doing nothing.

This company is excellent. Mike personally worked on our yard and was thoughtful about landscape issues, irrigation timing, environmental concerns, noise from power tools, etc. He worked within the schedule we requested and went above and beyond our expectations. His prices were reasonable for yard maintenance. SADLY, MIKE LOST HIS PARTNER AND CONTACTED US TO SAY HE COULD NO LONGER FIT US (SCOTTDALE AREA) INTO HIS WORK LOAD. We're devastated. He was the best. <br />

South Mountain Landcare responds very quickly to emails. He's very flexible, if you change what you want. He's professional. The owner shows up on the site to make sure the work is done.

Highly recommend Mike! He came out within a couple of days of my request, gave me an estimate over email, and did a great job on my yard. I got a new timer for my sprinkler system, winter seed and mulch and he gave a great quote on taking down the very large tree I have in my front yard. I will defiantly be using South Mountain Landcare again! <br />

Mike was very easy to communicate with and very professional. He demonstrated solid knowledge of plants and landscaping and I'm happy to work with him.

They do an excellent job, they have done regular maintenance, come every week or two weeks, right now I am unemployed, I've been doing the yard, but, there are some things I can't do, so they do the bushes and trees, they've come out, and help with that. They are coming Wednesday to work on the irrigation system, they're full service, do good quality work, and I would recommend them. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.

They have very reasonable rates. I had a tree out front that need to be pruned badly, and their bid was half that of other companies.

Mike was very responsive to initial contact in November and so far has been terrific in yard maintenance and landscaping. He is reachable by both phone and email and unlike our prior service actually responds to both. So far, our experience has been terrific. Highly recommended.

Mike was very responsive when I first emailed and gave me an estimate later that day. I felt the price was very fair. He provided proof of insurance upfront as well. He arrived on time to trim the tree for the scheduled service and I'm very pleased with the result. He thinned it out nicely and took a lot off the top as it was getting too tall. He also trimmed it back from my house and neighbor's roof. Thanks, Mike!

Delivered and spread 7 tons 1/2 inch granite to front yard and raised and thinned tree canopy for large mesquite overhanging street and it was too thick. I found them doing a job on the block, Mike came over and gave a prelim. estimate. Later he came over and we agreed on the job. Since there was no rush the job was scheduled for 10 days from the agreement. They came on time , neatly spread the rock and trimmed the tree in 2 hrs. Mike seems very knowledgeable , personable and his crew did a good job. I was pleased with the job
