Sliding Door or Tracks - Repair
I recognize others have had good experience with this company. Perhaps my experience was an outlier. I hired them to fix a leak over a patio door. The problem was misdiagnosed ? twice it now appears. Mistakes happen and I understand diagnosing leaks to be challenging. But responsiveness was frustratingly slow and, after half the job was completed and it became clear it was the wrong solution, they seemed to lose interest. When I gave them another chance to articulate next steps they simply didn't respond.And when I asked for a partial refund for the work never completed, they indicated their quote was only for half the job that was actually completed. I don't want to demonize their guy. He seemed like a nice fellow. But I sure hope he does better for future customers.

"Sorry you feel this way. It was brought to your attention what needed to be done to fix the issue, you declined due to price. Weeks later you wanted to see about doing the actual repair in which I stated in the very beginning would solve the problem, and you declined. The door had no protection from water exposure and that?s what you needed and you declined. You said to just re caulk. Then stated to you the extent of damage to drywall and told you what the price was for the work I did."

Chris came out to my house to fix 2 doors. He fixed 1, and after several calls and texts and over 1 month waiting, he has not given me anything that I asked for. Chris is a friendly guy, but he has completely dropped the ball on communication with me or follow up or completing the job. I fixed my 2nd door after I gave him many chances and lots of time. I would not trust him with another project.

"Truly sorry you feel this way. I came out to do an estimate only, however I had parts to fix the door so I took the time to repair the door even though I was there for estimate only. I wanted to make sure I could at least help you that day while I was there even though I was short on time. I told you I will be in contact about the second door to figure out a date for it. Sorry that you feel this way about me. But I try to do everything I can to satisfy my customers no matter what. And the day I came over it was only for estimate, but I went out of my way to just fix it that day even though I wasn’t scheduled for it. But do hope you and your family the best. And thank you for having me over to help. And to not trust me is a stretch because I did fix the door. But again thank you for having me. And hope the best for you and your family."

It was great working with them. I initially hired Chris to check a wall that I wanted removed for a kitchen remodel. I ended up hiring him to remove a partial wall, change the framing of and sheetrock new walls and closets in kitchen and bath; install new flooring; and other miscellaneous changes to the kitchen. The house is old and he was able to make the new layout work perfectly!

Chris is outstanding and very knowledgeable. I had s small leak in the laundry room of my rental house. Chris was on time and made the tenants feel at ease with his knowledge. Not only was the price fair but the work done beyond my standards. Outstanding job will definitely hire again.
