Sparky's Electical Service

Outlet replaced without a hitch. Circuit found to be okay, it was just being overloaded with an A/C drawing too many amps.

We had a "real" electrician come in after sparky and told us what he had done for us was basically illegal .

This is the third time we've had him for various electrical jobs and all have been exceptional experiences.  He is prompt, efficient and thorough in his work.  I called him on Sunday and he was able to fit this small job in the next day so we could do laundry again. <br />

The owner of Sparky's Electrical Service was prompt, very courteous, and had given me some good advice over the phone regarding what fixture to buy, so that was helpful as well. I will definitely call him again when I need electrical service. <br />

Took a while since fixture was cemented in place but outcome is great <br />

Politely said, Sparky is the boss.   <br /> We needed electricity and HDMI ran from a cabinet in our great room up above our fireplace so we could mount a TV.  Also needed cable and electricity ran to a wall in our master bedroom so we could mount our TV on the wall.  <br /> Sparky showed up on a Friday afternoon, five minutes early.  Assessed the situation, and before he left, said he would look into how much parts/etc would cost, and he would call me with a bid.  Sunday night I received a text from him with a bid, we set up a time for him to come for the install on 8/22 at 9am.   <br /> Sparky showed up at 8:59, and got to work.  I came home from lunch to outlets installed where I had asked, cable ran, everything was great.  He could not find the specific outlet cover for AC / Cable, but it will not be visible once the TV is mounted, so it is not of real concern.   <br /> I was a little uncomfortable mounting the brackets for our TV on the walls, as the studs were located in odd places - and I didn't trust myself to mount a $1,000 60" plasma anywhere that wasn't on a small stand.  ha!   <br /> I asked if he would mind installing the mounts if I kicked him some extra $$, and he gladly obliged to stay longer than he had originally intended.  He even went so far as to use his own screws/mounting bolts that were FAR superior to the ones that were provided in the kit. <br /> Couldn't be happier.  Should we plan on doing any other electrical work / lighting in the future, Sparky will be our first call.   <br />

Sparky did a great job and came over right away on a weekend to do the work. No complaints

Well, I had called him 3-4 weeks prior to original date of Saturday, June 16th (I closed on the house June 15).  I get a call on June 14th saying he needed to reschedule because he forgot he had to go to his class reunion on that week-end.  I was skeptical and not impressed but what was I supposed to do? I had a new date of Monday, June 18th.  I had people coming on Tuesday, June 19th to re-finish my hardwood floors.  So it put a little kink in my plans.  Overall he did a good job.  He had to come back on Tuesday morning and he was able to finish the 220V outlet just in time so the floor people could hook up to it to use it for their job.  He said it cost a little bit more than he thought because the materials were expensive to run all the conduit and wire he needed.  I expected it would be a little more because of the 2 xtra outlets I asked for in the basement.  Over all he did a good job and I will probably use him again.  Just changing the date, after all the planning I had did was the thing I disiked the most.

My lights started flickering throughout my house and my refrigerator wasn't keeping as cool as it should.  I could hear "crunchy" sounds coming from my electrical panel so something was definitely wrong.  I called "Sparky" and he was over in 2 hours on a Monday.  He diagnosed a loose terminal screw (because there were sparks coming from it) and had everything fixed in less then 5 minutes.  He only charged $29 for the service call and was very friendly.

We had a room where the power went out.  I flipped the breaker to that room, but that did nothing.  I called Sparky's Electric Service, and Jeff came out about an hour later.  He traced the problem to a neutral wire in the breaker box and fixed it.  While he was here, I asked him to replace some outlets and switches in the kitchen. <br /> He did great work, and his price was reasonable.

Sparky was great.  He assessed the problems and fixed all of them in an efficient manner.  He really knows his stuff.  My track lighting was totally screwed up - he had to get up in the attic and run new wires and install a new switch.  He knocked it out of the park.  6 months later, all things that he worked on are working great.  Highly recommend his services.

He was extremely fair on the price. He only charged me for two and a half hours, when he spent a majority of the day on the work. He did leave in the middle of the day advising me he would be back in 30 minutes, but didn’t come back for 3 hours. He had a lot of trouble repairing the electrical problem and had to jerry-rigg it. He advised me he would come back at a later time to correctly repair the electrical problem. He never came back and I hired another electrician to fix the problem.

Sparky’s Electrical Service fixed an exhaust fan in the bathroom and fixed a light that broke off in the basement about a month ago.

Very pleased with the service.  Prompt, professional and personable.  Will not hesitate to call him again.
